In the Shadow of the Lighthouse

The Sun's brightness is blocked by the South Lighthouse 
thus allowing the colours of the Sunset to be seen and photographed.

Standing in the shadow at Sunset is a cool place to be, you should try it sometime.

Fair Isle Autumn Birdwatching Autumn 2024

Blue Throat - such a lovely bird.
About the size of a European Robin.
Bluer than most during Autumn migration.
very confiding and didn't mind having his photos taken,
while foraging in the Sheep pen at Barkland.
