Challenge #102 - "Something NEW" plus a BLOG HOP . . .

Now to start the New Year with fireworks and a loud bang, we have decided to have a blog hop as we thought it would be nice to have some fun now that the Christmas and New Year festivities are over and shake away any pending winter blues! ! ! ! There will still be a challenge too and all will be explained in this post.

Now this week we have 2 things happening . . . a BLOG HOP and our normal WEEKLY CHALLENGE.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

BLOG HOP DETAILS: We have lots of great prizes this week (for the Blog Hop) from a generous selection of sponsors and separate prizes for the weekly challenge. Here are the BLOG HOP prizes:

A £10 voucher from:

A £5 voucher from:

A "Double Sprinkle of Kraft" CD from:

A £5 voucher from:

A selection of "Get in Shape Templates"

Each of our sponsors have loads of yummy goodies on offer, so why not take a nose and see if you fancy anything and who knows, they might even have a January Sale on too! Us crafters do love a bargain!

To win one of these prizes, please pop over to each of the DT blogs and collect all the numbers shown on their blogs. Once you have all the numbers, you will need to add them up and leave the total in the comments section. (comment moderation is on to hide all answers). We thought we'd do numbers for a change rather than letters, just to add to the fun and also to exercise our grey cells . . . did you guess who the teacher is amongst the DT and came up with this plan . . . Lou !?!?!?

The blog order is as follows just in case you get lost:

Start here at the Challenge Blog and the number you need from here is 1 (one) and then move onto:

and finally back to Challenge Blog and leave your answer in the comments section below.

The CHALLENGE THEME this week is called . . .

"Something New"

and we want you to use a new crafting item/download etc that you received over the Christmas and/or New Year on your project. Now before you panic and think "I didn't get anything crafty as a present", there are other things you could do . . . eg: spray your flower embellishments with a quick blast of your new perfume; use the spare button from that new piece of clothing you received; use a photo from that new camera you received on your project . . . so you see, you can join in with us with some lateral thinking ! The DT have lots of new things to share with you, so pop over to their blogs and check out their projects, also whilst you are there, join in with our BLOG HOP.

There is 2 (two) separate prizes for the joining in with the challenge this week and the prize being offered is . . .

a selection of toppers and Flower Soft

Don't forget we want you to use "Something New" in your project and it can be linked as always using Mr Linky at the bottom of this post.

Also, we are still waiting to hear from previous winners from our candy draws, so please check posts below to see if you are a lucky winner. If there is no contact by Friday 6th January 2012, we will redraw the winners and post them in next weeks challenge post.

Have a great week everyone and happy hopping,

The Fab 'n' Funky DT
