Limit post/page info items by category?

Is there a way to prevent the post and page info items from displaying on a particular category?

if you mean can you stop certain parts of a post - lets say the byline, from displaying if the post is associated with category 'X', the answer is yes. Each post has a class of 'category-xxxxx' where xxxxx is the category name so youcould start your CSS selector with 'div.category-xxxxx' and add in what ever else you needed, then use a drule of 'display:none;' to not display the info.
