Hi there, this is my blog with the Montezuma Theme:
http://www.reisen-mit-rucksack.de/
I'm really happy about the design and features - although it was a lot of work to figure out some of the details...
I hope you like it, too! If there are any suggestions, please let me know!
Cheers!

Nice clean theme, but in Chrome the fonts used on the blog page look fuzzy, unsharp. I don't know why. They look ok in Firefox.

Bitdefender blocks access to your site... If I click "understand the risk" It just gives me a message that I am not authorised to access it.

I stick very close to the original. Only tweaked featured image to disappear when no image selected.

I haven't used this theme myself, can the animation (stars) be turned off? I find it annoying

Looks like I am not the only one that finds it annoying. Flynn might not understand this... he likes animation... BUT...
What is the goal of your site? To keep your visitors watching all the jiggly stars and alike? Or to focus on the content.
I personally don't want anything to annoy me while reading...

Hi everyone,
I've been an Atahualpa user for years, and decided to try using Montezuma for my newest website. Love it! Here is my first finished product:

Kicks ass! Shows again how Montezuma is great theme that everybody can modify to their own taste.
One note: the fonts are a little too light (grey) for my taste.

Haven't been on here for a while. Thanks to belantos for the warning re Blueberry Bridge. I've scanned the site and as far as I can tell there is nothing wrong. I'll keep an eye out though - hackers are everywhere.
Another site - http://orchardcottagemuchmarcle.co.uk/
As hackavinash shows above, your finished site doesn't have to look anything like the original. Use Montezuma as a framework.

Was wanting to go to responsive for a while now. Looked at my analytics and saw that I'm getting over 50% of my traffic via mobile / tablet and that pushed me over the edge.
Essentially it's the out of the box look/feel with a couple of minor tweaks.
Still working on some image gallery issues but overall I'm very happy.

Wow, everyone's sites look great! I moved over to Montezuma after spending a year and a half using a premium theme. It looked nice, but ultimately it was way too robust for a personal blog that I don't update as often as I should . I really like the transparency of the Montezuma code and the thorough documentation. I myself am a bit rusty in that it's been a while since I've had to really play around with CSS & php (use to do it all the time when I made sites with Joomla).
No real complaints so far. My site is still a work in progress (I just downloaded the theme two days ago). Doing a ton of modifications with my back end since my old template had a lot of widgets and plugins that I am no longer using. Constructive criticism is welcome; but I may or may not be able to implement the suggestion!

@MsShona - looks like your site is showing as the mobile version - try turning off jetpack

Interesting. I went to Jetpack and disabled the mobile theme optimization. I don't see any difference in my browser(s), but no need to add extra stuff. Thanks!

now it looks fine - it could be that you were logged in and it might not show a difference then.

My only suggestion is at the bottom of the single posts, the share icons all have an arrow in front because Montezuma attaches the <i> tag to list items by default. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out the CSS rule to hide them.
But just two days work? I'm impressed. Thanks very much for sharing!

Thank you! Actually I just discovered that the category/photo grid plugin on the main pain is completely broken in IE8. So looks like I'll be spending the long weekend troubleshooting and looking for a fix!
Thanks again for the kind words!

Oh I swapped out those share buttons. They weren't too appealing (they were from JetPack....not liking that tool working with this theme!). I installed Simple Share Buttons instead. Much nicer!

Just went live with this theme on http://freekraut.net/
I think it looks a ton better than the version of Atahualpa I set up several years ago, and the responsiveness is going to be a big hit.
Thanks!

Looks great. How do you get the tag line to change when the page refreshes, is it a plugin?
