I may have mentioned that my workplace was going through a major shake up in an earlier post. Well earlier this week was our D-day. I was one of the "lucky" ones who managed to make it through with a job. Many of my friends were not so lucky so its been a bit of a mopey week at work. Anyhoo, onward and upward!
Jason and I are still sharing the house. Its not going so bad but I can't wait till our house sells and we can both move on with our lives (separately!). Its very draining sometimes. But hey, I should just enjoy the extra time with my littlest man before I face the reality of 50% shared care. Will cross that bridge when I come to it.
I've been doing a little stitching again. Jason's grandfather passed away in August so I had Lest We Forget framed. It kind of inspired me to start stitching again. And of cousre, my workmate Bec. She has also been stitching again so its rubbed off on me. This is Lest We Forget all framed up (I ended up having it framed in time for a fathers day pressie for Jason). I LOVE how it turned out. My framer is awesome! (sorry about the bad pic, took it with my phone, trying to avoid the reflection lol).
I had the framer include a plaque with Jason's grandfather's name on it.
I haven't done any scrapping at all. Hard to get motivated with everything else going on. But slowly slowly I'm getting there!
Anyway, to those who still pop by - hello! Time for me to go and catch up on some of my favourite blogs.
xx

Glad to hear you were one of the lucky ones to hold onto your job, but sad to hear that things aren't going so well on the home front. Hang in there!
Lest We Forget is just lovely... what a beautiful memento.
