PINK FRESH STUDIO GUEST DESIGNER (LAYOUT & MINI ALBUM)

I 'm so happy to join to be a PinkFreshStudio Guest Designer! :)

I have created two layouts and a mini album with Christmas Whishes collection.

 

 

1. Layout - Joy

 

I used a ChristmasWishes clear stamp for this layout.

 

 

After stamping images repeatedly on a white cardstock,

I colored it with water colors(Peerless Transparent Watercolors).

 

And then I trimmed it into 2x2 inch,

I stitched the pieces and layered them.

 



 

 

2. Layout - To the world

 

 

This layout is clean and simple. 

 

 

I used red color frame die-cut & patterned paper as an accent .

 

 

 

3. mini album

This album is about my winter story.

 

 

I used diffenrt-sized photos in mini album.

(1.5inch, 2x2inch, 2.5x3.5inche, 4inch and photo collage)

I used some die-cuts as a charms and insert them in album ring.

 

 

I added sequin pockets for a touch of fun.

:using a grid design and machine stitching.



 

 

My favorite techniques are pattern play, machine stitching, layering
and titling on white background.

 

 

 

2. happy today (11x8.5)

I take photos and create scrapbookings that revolve around my daily life.

 

 

 

 3. Hello (11x8.5)

:pattern playing using patterned paper pieces, die-cuts and washi shapes.

 



 

I love bold glitter thicker, it is a good way to embellish!  



 

  

4. Mini album(3x4)

 

 

I am inspired by little things like adventures with my friends, walks with my family,
a romantic sunset view, tasting new coffee and the crispy blue sky.

When I saw this inspiration piece, 

I wanted to blow on these colorful triangles and I imaged the little triangles flying in all directions. 

 

 

 

These flying little triangles made me fun, happy & excited

just like festive mood.

today with my favorite storage methods

and how keeping them simple helps me create quick and easy layouts~

 

What's your favorite storage method?

I've love using plastic moving baskets and clear plastic containers...

 

 

 

 

 

That way my storage method is focused on 'quick & easy' for using.

 

Each moving basket is for ink, dies, clear stamp and so on. 

If I need a inkspray , I 'll just pull the moving basket which contains it over to my work area.That's all. : ) 

 

And all the little things (buttons, paperclips, chipshapes, wood veneers, brads and more) are kept in clear plastic containers.

All within reach of my creative workspace, easy to see and ready to grab.

 

 

 

 

 



 

 

 

 

Keeping my storage "quick & easy" helps my creativity flow better and my layouts come out in little time.

Here is a "quick and easy" layout I just finished up,

Mei Li Paperie July Colour Challenge!!!

 

 

 

I picked white & black as the main colors.

(white is my favorite color!) 

I found each color gave me some feelings.... 

white -> beautiful , black -> elegant & chic

and the others -> sunshine & small petals

 

 

 

this colour pallette also made me imagine a scene

that a ballerina was taking a rest.  : )

My layout 'be you' is a result by my this.

she's not a ballerina, but she loves dance!!!!

this fancy pants tags are so lovely! 

 

 

 

I picked a tag for journal and embellishiments.

after cutting it I sewed it on the page by machine.
