oh happy day!

This is the first card that I made with this new stamp set from La-La Land Crafts, this is Summer Lucky and this set comes with three coordinating sentiments!! Lucky looks so cool and relaxed in his inner tube with a glass of cold lemonade in his hand!! Fun, fun, fun!! :-)

I used this card made by Cheryl as my inspiration and it came together in no time.. well, it took me "only" a few hours to put it together.. I am a pretty slow crafter when it comes to designing my cards. I think it takes me in average 3-4 hours to make a card..

This is the second card for my upcoming "Summer Fun" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make three cards in this class, all different designs. Wishing you Oceans of Joy

OK, I am kind of sorry to show you yet one more of the same design card with LLLC Snorkel Sherman stamp.. Well.. I was asked by a few people to teach a class with this card, but.. since I used the stickers from my stash and those stickers are no longer available, I had to come up with something else to create the ocean scene for Sherman :-)

Lucky me, I found a clear stamp set from Hero Arts called Oceans of Joy with all kind of sea creatures!!! It was more time consuming than using stickers of course, but I do LOVE the result!! All of the ocean scene elements are stamped and colored with Copics, cut out and covered with Crystal Lacquer.. once it was dry, I applied Crystal Stickles to everything!! They look so shiny and sparkly in real life!!! Very pretty!!! Well worth all the work!!!

This will be one of the cards for my upcoming "Summer Fun" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make three cards in this class, all different designs. We will make three cards in this class, all different designs. This class is scheduled for:

Best Creations designer paper. Cat stamp is from La-La Land Crafts, it is called Snorkel Sherman. Sherman was colored with Copic Markers, cut out and place on the card with the "paper spring". LOVE how it gives so much dimension!!! Bubbles are from another La-La Land Crafts stamp set, Bubble Lala.

Framed Ocean Scene

This card came out of a happy accident :-) I was working on the card for my "Simple Cards" class and had made this one instead.. It was one of those days when things just happen!! Not much effort or planning involved!!! It was quick and painless!! And oh how do I LOVE the result!! It is very elegant, I think it can be used for any occasion and can be even used for men.. It looks so much better in real life too!!!

It turned out so beautiful, I just have to design a new class just around it!! I will make two more cards to go along with this one.. I am thinking about making it a "Frame It!" class..

So.. this will be one of the cards for my upcoming "Frame It!" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make three cards in this class, all different designs. These cards feature different techniques and various images. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, July 1st, 11 am to 2 pm
Thursday, July 1st 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, July 18th, 12 pm to 3 pm

Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or to purchase your kit/s.

Martha Stewart punch-around-a corner punch. Spellbinders Nestabilites to make a window for the frame. Cuttlebug embossing folder. The scene stamp from Inkadinkado. Sentiment from Amuse.
