I can't stop playing with my Cosmo Cricket Togetherness DP and matching chipboard!!  I love the colors and cute animals in this collection.  Sigh...


So here's a card I just posted over on SCS as my Case of this week's Featured Stamper: Alison.  I chose her "Nitestamper Case" card to case...just in case (corny, boo, I know). 

As you can see, the sketch and sentiment are the same, but everything else is changed out to use what's been on my crafting table all week.

Cosmo Cards

Hello Friends,

I made these cards using basically the same supplies for both. Both feature Cosmo Cricket's "Togetherness" Mini Deck and coordinating chipboard stickers; both use sentiments from Woodware USA's "All Through the Year" sentiments set stamped with Versamark and embossed with Zing White EP;  the card base for both is SU Kraft, and finally, on both I added faux stitching with a Signo White Gel pen.

This first card is for "Sentimental Sundays" challenge to show dimension on your card.  In addition to the Cosmo chipboard bird and flower wing, I used a chip board On Board piece from SU covered with Cosmo paper.  I used the negative of the chipboard piece so the DP would be exposed under neath.  The brass "button" is actually a Paper Studios brad.

 

The second card follows the sketch from this week's "Unscripted Sketches" challenge.   I also followed the recipe from "Aly's Sunday Challenge" to use 3 DPs and 2 buttons on this card.  The buttons are sewed on with hemp twine to the DP panel. 



All my new supplies came from my new fav store here in the DFW area -- Scrappers Boutique (HI STEPHANIE!!).
