Now the count down really begins!

Today I have hit the 36th week of pregnancy mark. Only four more weeks to go now! Yikes! Even though everything is ready for the baby and we have everything we need to be prepared for his arrival, I still feel like NOTHING is ready! Now that I know I am only a month away from delivery, I am starting to get really anxious and nervous about the whole labor experience and the thought of actually taking home a newborn baby to live and stay with us! What did we get ourselves into? :) It is one thing when you help teach new parents all about life after birth, and what to expect when taking care of babies after discharge home from the hospital. However, it is an entirely different experience when YOU are the one taking the baby home and experiencing all of the things YOU teach people about before leaving the hospital. AHHHHH, is all I can say right now! Despite my anxiousness and nervousness, there is excitement. I cannot wait to hold my little guy in my arms and watch his personality shine through. Twenty eight more days to go...that is, of course, if I deliver on my due date! :)

Manti Temple Wedding

Last weekend Blaine and I drove to Manti, UT to attend a wedding. Jake and Melissa Robison were married for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple. Blaine and Jake were roommates at BYU and have been good friends ever since. The Manti Temple was gorgeous and it was a great day for a wedding! After seeing this Temple for the first time, Blaine and I wished we had gotten married there!

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

Blaine and I decided to go and see the gardens at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, UT this week. I had heard the gardens were really pretty and that the man-made waterfall was cool to see. Turns out, the rumors were true! The waterfall at Thanksgiving Point is the largest man-made waterfall in North America. If you haven't been to the gardens, we recommend it! We also recommend going on "two dollar Tuesdays", where it only costs $2 per person to go and see any of the exhibits at Thanksgiving Point during the month of August.

I had to also throw in some pictures of how big I am looking these days. How can my belly possibly stretch anymore than this? Six more weeks and I am a mommy!!!
