Crafty Sentiments Challenge

Its time for another Crafty Sentiments Challenge, and the theme this week is Flowers.

I have gone for something completely out of my comfort zone this week, and used one the Crafty Sentiments Sweet Collection CDs.  I also decided to go for a smaller card and different sytle shape, rather than my standard square card blank.  I embossed a patterned frame onto white cardstock , cut the image topper out and put it in the middle of the frame.  I added a sentiment from the CD and then cut the accompanying flowers out and added them.  A very different type of card making for me, but I enjoyed doing it.

You can get this CD, and many more stamps at the Crafty Sentiments shop.

That Craft Place Challenge

Its Sunday and that means it's time for a That Craft Place challenge and the theme this week is altered can.

I usally do grungy altered cans, but the girls wanted a pencil pot for the desk in their bedroom so I went for something more girly.  I wrapped the deign paper round the can, then add the gem and pearl braiding to the bottom, and pretty lace to the top.  I used lots of paper flowers and put orange heart buttons at the centre.  I made a pin using peals and the cut butterfly spacer, before punching butterflies and adding pearls to them.

You can find all these products and much more, either at Lisa's website - That Craft Place, or on the facebook group.

Ditzie's Digi Designs challenge

Welcome to the  Ditzie Digi Design Challenge. The challenge theme is always Anything Goes, and the prize this fornight is  .
http://ditziedigidesigns.blogspot.co.uk/

I do love a cutie, and doggie is adorable!!  He is called Wilson the Woofle.  I coloured him with my pens and then cut him out.  I am not a big fan of cutting images out, but having lost at least a day of life on pinterest (ok that's an exaggeration!!!) I got all inspired to use washi tape, as I have lots of it.  I created a background using the washi tape and then popped Wilson the Woofle on 3d pads and put him on the washi tape.  Finally I doodled round the edge using my fine liner.

You can buy lots of gorgeous digital images at the Ditzie Digi Design Etsy shop and some of the images are available as rubber stamp sets too on  Lisa's website - That Craft Place, or on the facebook group.
