Delicious dining...

I am totally in love with this dining room from Rue.  This lovely space belongs to the lovely lady behind sfgirlbybay.  Would it be totally offensive if I just invite myself over for dinner?  Both the company and the interiors would be delicious.

Fundamentals and flirtations...

Ah, post-vacation blues.  The deep blue of this gorgeous dining room {from the portfolio of Hans Blomquist} is subtly reminiscent of the Aegean blue that somehow wondered into the fresh lake nestled in the mountains of northern Utah where I spent my weekend frolicking and gathering freckles in the sun.

Sometimes I stumble on a morsel of information that makes me smile; I just discovered that one of my favorite homes ever was designed by Desiree Ashworth.  Ms. Ashworth has a beautiful blog, Decor de Provence, spilling over with delight. 

This image is a newly styled version of an old favorite {I would recognize Amy Neunsinger's walls anywhere}.  Don't tolix chairs make everything just a little bit sweeter?!?!

This afternoon Country Living UK introduced me to the photography of Hans Blomquist; here is a sampling of the lovely imagery {and flawless styling} from his portfolio.  Soak in the beauty.

Mr. Blomquist also has a collection of stunning outdoor vignettes.  {Notice my favorite blue chair!?!}

Refreshment from the barn...

There is a large, leaning, and heaping pile of glossy muses stacked on my table; mail order catalogues and a handful of magazines beckoning for my attention.  I will {eventually} peruse every page, but for now - enjoy this tease.  A refreshing delight from Pottery Barn, nothing exudes ambiance like ten globe light bulbs dangling from this Edison Chandelier.

If this were my dining room, I would eat here, work here, and maybe even sleep here.
