I have made this good luck card for our neighbour. He is a photographer and has an important fotoshoot next week.
the stamp is colored with pencils. My background is made with dry chalks. The line is erased with my special pencil eraser. In this space I have stamped my little text.

Ik heb dit kaartje gemaakt voor onze buur. Hij is fotograaf en heeft een belangrijke fotoshoot volgende week.
het stempeltje is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en uitgenkipt. De achtergrond is gemaakt met droge chalks. De lijn is weggehaald met het speciaal gompotlood. In deze balk heb ik mijn tekststempeltje : succes, gestempeld.

snowy village/besneeuwd dorpje

materials : village stamp (now available), cardstock red en blue, sei christmaspaper, dry chalks and special eraserpencil, scor-pal

stamp the village with a brown ink and let it dry. Color the image with dry chalks using a cotton ball. Erase a frame round the rectangle using the special eraser. Use your scor-pal to make your card.

materiaal : dorpstempeltje (nu beschikbaar), rood en blauw cardstock en kerstpapier van sei, chalkkrijtjes en het speciale gompotlood.

stempel het dorpje met bruine inkt en laat even drogen. Chalk met krijtjes en een wattenschijfje je afdruk. Gom een kadertje rond je afdrukje met het speciale gompotlood. Gebruik de scor-pal om je kaart te maken. Vragen over de scor-pal? Spring even binnen.

merry christmas

material : photo, template sitelle, chalk,pencil eraser, merry christmas stamp, golden pen.

cut out your photo, using the template. Use the same template to chalk you background. Stamp the text, remove some of the chalk with the pencil eraser. Draw a line with a golden pen.

Materiaal : foto, sjabloon sitelle, krijt, potlood gom, merry christmas stempel en een gouden pen.

Gebruik je sjabloon om de foto uit te snijden. Het zelfde sjabloon wordt ook gebruikt om de achtergrond te chalken. Stempel je tekst en haal met de speciale potloodgom een lijn weg. trek in deze opening met een gouden pen een dun lijntje en doe dit ook naast de tekst. Benieuwd naar deze chalking techniek? Een stempeltje uit de nieuwe stempelreeks. Stempel met frost white en laat even drogen. Breng de chalk aan met het sponsvingertje. Even laten hechten. Verwijder het overtollige met een swiffer doekje.

A stamp from our new range. Stamp with frost white en let dry for a while. Put some chalk on the dauber en dabb the chalk on the ink. Let dry and remove the excess with a swiffer cloth.

Some times you need to make a card for sad occasions. for this card I have used the chalking technique(night fall fluid chalk)
I have used a velvet rub-on on the corner of my stamped card.

Stamp the magnolia on shrink plastic. I have used a blender pen and dry chalk to color the shrink plastic. Shrink it with a heat gun or in the oven. I have chosen 2 colors of fluid chalk ink to stamp the word friends. Use diamond glaze to glue the shrink plastic on your card.

Stempel de magnolia op krimpfolie. Ik heb een blender pen gebruikt en chalk (droog) om de krimpfolie in te kleuren. Laten krimpen met je heatgun of in de oven. Ik heb 2 kleurtjes fluid chalk gekozen om het woord friends af te drukken. Gebruik diamond glaze om je krimpfolie op te kleven.

I have used this background technique but on vellum. find the tutorial here. The flower stamp is from a clear stamp set from artemio.

Ik heb gebruikt gemaakt van de achtergrond techniek op vellum. Je vindt de tutorial hier. Het bloemetje maakt deel uit van een clear stempelset van artemio.

photo card/fotokaartje

I like to combine a real photo with stamps. I have colored a border with fluid chalks and stamped the text with versafine. Great technique to use for a scrap page also.

ik vind het wel eens leuk om een echte foto te kombineren met stempels. Ik heb hier een boord gemaakt met fluid chalk inkt en de tekst afgedrukt met versafine. Een leuke techniek om ook in het scrappen toe te passen.

A small stamp colored with Derwent pencils. I have colored the borders of my cardstock with alabaster(fluid chalk).

Een bloemetje ingekleurd met Derwent potloden. De randjes van mijn cardstock heb ik gekleurd met alabaster (fluid chalk).

I have made this menu card using one of my favorite inks : fluid chalk from color box. Mask your card with post it notes and color with a brush. Always start with the lightest color and built up with darker ones.
I have used 3 shades of brown. Stamp the flowers (hero arts) with the lightest color. Remove the post its and stamp Menu (stamps).



Voor deze kaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een van mijn favoriete inkten : color box fluid chalks. Ik heb hier gekozen voor 3 tinten bruin. Maskeer je kaart met post it notes zodat de strip die je wil kleuren vrij blijft. Gebruik een sjabloneerkwast (Artemio nummer 6) en breng al draaiend de eerste (lichtste) kleur aan. Bouw verder op van licht naar donker. Stempel de bloemen (hero arts) met een lichte kleur en haal de post its weg. Stempel Menu (stamps)

baby card

i have used a stamp from the aladine range. First chalk your oval and then stamp. I have used versafine and colored with markers. The small baby carriage is from our stamps range. In the inside of the card I have attached a shrunken stamped image.

Het hoofdstempeltje is er eentje van Aladine. Chalk het ovaal eerst en stempel dan het wiegje. Dit heb ik ingekleurd met de stempelstiften. Als achtergrond stempeltje een kinderwagentje van stamps. In de kaart het wiegje gestempeld op shrink plastic.

A "chalked" birthday card for my sister in law.

Een "gechalkte" verjaardagskaart voor mijn schoonzus.

condoleance

Use an oval template to make your background. I have used a brush and chalk ink to fill up the oval.
Stamp some branches on the bottom of the oval and attach a ribbon. I have colored the ribbon with the same chalk inks and ironed it to heat set. Stamp the text using your stamp positioner.

Maak gebruik van een ovalen sjabloon om je achtergrond te kleuren. Ik gebruikte chalk inkt en een sjabloneerborstel. Stempel de takjes op de onderkant van het ovaal en bevestig het strikje. Het lintje kleurde ik met dezelfde chalk inkten. Strijk je lintje om de kleuren te fixeren. Maak gebruik van je stamp positioner om je tekst op de goede plaats te stempelen

Een eenvoudig kaartje. Takjes gestempeld met chalk dark brown. Achtergrondje met versamark.

valentijnkaartje

dit kaartje is een voorbeeld van het gebruik van 2 kleuren inkt op je stempel. gouden regel :start steeds met de lichte kleur. Beïnkt je stempel met creamy brown. Kies het stuk dat je donker wil en beïnkt dat met dark brown. (beiden uit het zelfde torentje fluid chalk.)

Gebruik een sjabloontje om het blokje te kleuren met chalk inkt. Ik gebruikte 3 rode tinten uit de chalk fluid reeks. Het stempeltje is 1 bloem van een stempel met meerdere. Plak de bloemen die je niet wil afdrukken af met schilderstape. Zo kan je de ene bloem beïnkten. Verwijder de tape en druk af. De tekst heb ik afgedrukt met versafine smokey gray. Deze kleur is minder hard dan zwart.

Use a template to color the rectangle with chalk ink. I have used 3 reds from the fluid chalk serie. I have used just one flower from a stamp with 4 flowers. Cover the other with tape and ink the one of your choise. Remove the tape and stamp. For the text I took versafine smokey gray. This is much softer then the black one.
