Two fun new layouts

Yesterday and today I have a rare, completely child-free break. The Little Guy and Middle Child are visiting grandparents, Oldest is at Scout Camp. I got to savor sleeping in, read peacefully, meander through the farmer's market without stopping for every sample ... and do some scrapbooking uninterrupted!

I am very pleased with the layouts I managed to finish yesterday and thought I'd like to share them with you, too.

First, we've got a Halloween 2010 layout. These pics were taken just before Trick or Treating, when my very patient Teenager volunteered to take his younger brothers trick or treating. He donned his 'Popeye Costume' (Ok it's a 'head in hole' sort of tee shirt and a sailor hat, but he makes it look pretty good, in my opinion). The Middle Child reigned in his viking glory - we bought the hat at the costume shop, he bought the shield and axe at EPCOT a couple of years ago... we hunbted up the cape, the fur vest and the giant belt at the thrift shop and hit the leatherworking store for the rabbit skins. I thought it came out AWESOME! And the Little Guy is, of course, a Musketeer. The tabard and hat were hand-me-downs from a previous costume of Middle Child's The shirt we got at the thrift store, the boots are Cowboy boots, and the sword is his Captain Jack Sparrow Pirate Sword, from Disneyland.
Another of Susan's fantastic sketches making an appearance here! Plus a while back I got a big giant pack of Bo Bunny from my LSS, and in it was this ADORABLE Boo Crew paper line! Plus some K & Company Spooktacular embellies.

Here's one more for you -- First day of Fourth Grade for the Middle Child (Aug 2010). The pics are a little blurry, I was having a terribly off morning that day and not feeling good... but he was super excited!

And this one's for Liz at the Scrappiest's latest sketch! The product here is Echo Park's For the Record line... LOVE this line! I only bought the 6x6 pad and a single sheet of 12x12, though, so it took some stretching and planning to get it together for this sketch! I do that frequently - when I like the whole line I often buy the minipad and stretch it as best I can.
