Heya!!!
Good evening!!
Sorry I've been MIA, I just haven't been able to my act together this week ._. It's starting to get a little crazy here, work wise, and that's okay lol. Because of this, I've got a week's worth of manis to show off tonight. There's a mix of new colors, old colors, new techniques, and comfortable familiars :)
Let's start with my Textured Friday mani. It wasn't exactly a new color, but I don't think I've used it yet. Zoya Savita is a lovely, blue toned purple shimmer matte. I did two coats for opacity, then topped with Seche because I wanted to stamp. I used three different plates, Winstonia W116 and W221, and Bundle Monster BM-H07, stamped using Mundo de Unas white. I topped with Seche, then rematted with Morgan Taylor's Matte's a Wrap, which gave Savita its original look.
For this finger, I used a technique to shrink the image so it would fit my pinky finger. I had more success with it than with enlarging on the thumb.
This wasn't exactly a fail at enlarging the image, but for my first attempt, I don't think it was too bad.
Thursday's mani was a matte glitter bomb. It was 2 coats of OPI's Suzi Has a Swede Tooth with a coat of OPI's More than a Glimmer. MTAG dries rough, so I topped it with OPI's Matte Topcoat.
I wasn't completely happy with this mani, since I didn't have a lot of time to plan it, but it worked lol.
Wednesday's mani was a glitter bomb, too. It started with 2 coats of China Glaze's Liquid Leather, followed by a coat of China Glaze's Howl You Doin', then a coat of Seche. That coat stamped with Bundle Monster BM-H07 and Winstonia W221 in Mundo de Unas white. Topped again with Seche to finish it.
I absolutely love how Tuesday's mani turned out. One of the colors was new, to me, Zoya Rue. That served as the base, at two coats. Then, I used a new technique, I think it's called the reverse French, with Zoya Aubrey as the contrasting color. I used French tip stickers to create the look. Finished with Seche, and almost matted, but I restrained myself.
Monday's mani was a disappointment to me. My base color pretty much ate the glitter I added to it -_- The base was 2 coats of OPI's Do You Have This Color in Stock-holm?, which is a pretty color, but no where near as bright as I thought it would be. I added a coat of OPI's Where's my Blanket? to my index, middle, and pinky fingers. On the ring fingers and thumbs, I stamped with Winstonia W116 and W221 in Mundo de Unas white. Everything was finished off with Seche.

Time to catch up again!
Good afternoon!
I hope your Monday is flying by without too much unpleasantness :D I'm a little behind in posting, but only because I just haven't had time to so until today. So here we go!
I skipped out of yesterday's Stamping Sunday theme, funky French. I can't stamp French tips, of any kind really, to save my life. I chose to do a fall colored water marble with some new Zoyas I got last week. The base was 2 coats of Zoya Purity. The marble was created with Zoya Thandie, Chanelle, and Veronica, the dots were Zoya Darcy. Topped with Seche, matted wity Morgan Taylor's Matte's a Wrap.
As part of my Zoya order, I got their 3 new Pixie Dusts, so yay for new textures! For Textured Friday, I picked Arianna. Arianna is almost a magenta colored, very squishy looking texture. It didn't try quite as matte as other PDs do, but I think that makes it unique. I've read that some people have had a problem with this, but I like it. My pics don't quite do it justice, but we've been having some lousy ass, cloudy, rainy weather lately.
Since I've seemed (most of the time, anyways) to have gotten the hang of water marbles, I've decided I need to work on my gradients. I did a glitter gradient last Wednesday that I'm really proud of. It started with 2 coats of OPI's Suzi Loves Cowboys, which is a yummy, dark chocolate brown, perfect for fall, and a coat of Seche.
I did a little research on glitter gradients, and I found that instead of using a sponge to apply the glitter, others were applying it with the brush. I figured what the hell, I'll give it try. It's gotta be less messy than using a sponge. My glitter was Sinful Colors Pumpkin Spice, which I didn't know dries matte, then topped with Seche.

The only good spider.....
Good evening!
If there is one thing I hate more than anything in the world, it's spiders x.x I've had too many bad close encounters for it to be otherwise. So, in my opinion, the only good spider is a dead one.......... or on my nails lol!
I know I mentioned earlier this week about a secret Halloween swap I took part in. I've shown you one of the polishes I received already; tonight I'm showing you another.
My wonderful secret pumpkin also happens to make and sell her own line of polish. You can check out her shop here. Miss Jody sent me two of her awesome polishes, one I'll be showing at a later time. For now, I'm going to gush about Spider Funk.
Spider Funk is pretty awesome. It's a slightly orange base packed with matte square glitters, fine red/orange and gold glitters and larger holo glitter. The base itself is a matte drying formula, which is just cool for me. I wore one of Spider Funk over 2 coats of Zoya Sharon. Instead of leaving it matte, I topped it with Seche.
Now, I'm pretty sure this good be worn alone, it just may take a few coats for opacity. I will tell that it's not as rough as I expected it to be. All I can say is that I love this :)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Good evening and welcome to October!
I totally meant to post something yesterday, but I got wrapped up in my fall shows :) Yay for new episodes! I finally have things to watch again, aside for classic movies lol.
So, the start of October is also the start of Breast Cancer Awareness. I'm sure we all know what it means by now, so I won't bore anyone with the deets :P Halloween is this month too (duh). In honor of both, I've decided I'm going to alternate awareness manis and Halloween manis. Today is BCA mani.
Every year for the last several years, OPI has released a single color or a set. This year it was set: core color in the Soft Shades collection, Pink-ing of You, and a newcomer, a matte formula glitter called More than a Glimmer. Honestly, I just wanted the glitter, since I don't particularly care for most pastel pink cremes.
More than a Glimmer is, I believe, OPI's first matte formula glitter. MTAG is a matte drying clear base loaded with pinky, teal, gold, and silver hex glitters of different sizes. I can say that I don't have anything like it, but I'm also not sure of how unique it is for everyone else. Regardless, I most likely would have gotten because of what it supports :)
This mani started with 2 coats of Pink-ing of You. If I had worn it alone, I think I would have needed a third and maybe a fourth coat. I let it dry pretty well, while cleaning up around my cuticles, before moving on. MTAG applied pretty well for a glitter. I think I remember reading on the package, that OPI says to use a single coat. I did two (and regretted it upon removal) for more coverage. I found it a little rough when it was dry, so I added a coat of Seche then a coat of OPI's Matte Coat. Trust me, even though I did that, it looks exactly the same as without that.
I love this year's set :) I can't wait to try it over other colors!
