Weihnachten...

Ich hoffe, ihr habt alle ein wunderbares Weihnachtsfest verbracht, wie schauts so aus mit den Kilos? Alle ein paar mehr drauf wegen des guten Essens, dass es gab?? Ähem, also wir haben den Heiligabend ganz gemütlich zuhause verbracht, nach Würstchen mit Kartoffelsalat haben die Kinder ihre Geschenke bekommen und dann haben wir zusammen das neue Spiel "Elasund" gespielt, das hat ziemlich lange gedauert, da es sehr umfangreich ist, aber es hat Spass gemacht;-))

Am 1. Feiertag sind wir, zusammen mit meinen Eltern, zu meiner Schwester gefahren, schon zum Frühstück/Brunch, das war was feines;-)) Und nicht so riesig sättigend wie eine Weihnachtsgans;-)) Nachmittags kamen dann noch weitere Verwandte zum Kaffee und da es so schön war, sind wir erst spät abends nach Hause gekommen...nun ja, am nächsten Tag stand dann der Besuch bei den Schwiegereltern an...schon morgens, als ich aufgestanden bin, hab ich gemerkt, irgendwas stimmt nicht, ich hatte Bauchweh*grummel*...und ein bissel schlecht wars mir auch...gegen später hat mich dann meine Mutter angerufen und hilfe, allen gings schlecht...hmm, komisch, weil irgendwas schlechtes haben wir nicht gegessen, sonst hätten es auch die Kinder bekommen...es muss wohl jemand sich diesen Magen-Darm-Virus eingefangen haben und den mitgebracht haben*seufz*...somit bin ich dann halt wieder ins Bett gekrabbelt und habe den ganzen 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag verschlafen...zum Glück haben die Kinder nichts abbekommen, denen gehts immer noch gut...

Ansonsten gehts heute wieder viel besser und ich werd jetzt mal ein bischen blogs lesen gehen;-))

I have recognized I don´t have much finished ornaments for christmas, even my complete stitching things for christmas are less, so I have to change this...I am planning to stitch ornaments next year, one per month at least;-))

Einen weiteren "Christmas exchange" habe ich von Becky bekommen, auch schön gell! Als ixch meine Weihnachtsdeko rausgeholt habe, hab ich festgestellt, dass ich gar nicht wirklich viel gestickte Sachen für Weihnachten habe, das muss ich nächstes Jahr ändern und deshalb habe ich geplant, jeden monat mindestens ein Ornament zu sticken...hab ich Euch auch schon erzählt, dass ich nächstes Jahr nicht mehr viele exchanges machen will? Ich muss mal wieder ein paar meiner eigenen Sachen fertig machen;-))

And I got another wonderful exchange through "HOE", it´s the christmas exchange from Cari and I like the little ornament, it´s stitched over one and sooo pretty, I don´t like to stitch over one;-))) And the big project bag is great too, thanks a lot Cari;-))

Das ist ein weiterer "HOE" exchange, den ich von Cari bekommen habe, das Ornament ist über einen Faden gestickt und ich wollte das schon eigentlich sticken, siet ichs im JCS Magazin gesehen habe, habs aber bisher nicht geschafft;-))) Nun hab ichs und auch noch über eins, das mag ich nämlich gar nicht gern sticken;-((

Wonderful pinkeep from Amy...

...I got this halloweeny pinkeep from Amy through the MAW board, I love the Just Nan designs for the tins but I don´t want to buy the whole kit with the tin, so I asked for this pumpkin design and Amy fulfilled my wish and finsihed it beautifully;-)) Thanks so much Amy;-)

Diesen wundervollen Pinkeep hab ich von Amy bekommen, ist ein Just Nan design, davon gibts 4 Stück, passend zu den Jahreszeiten, dieses hier gefällt mir am besten, also hab ichs mir bei "Make a wish" gewünscht, super schön geworden oder??

Little Christmas house

I made this little christmas house for Simone in the HOE christmas exchange, it´s bnot perfect but I like it and I know she does too;-)) The chart is from the 2008 JCS christmas issue but I changed it a bit.

Dieses kleine Haus habe ich beim "HOE christmas exchange" gestickt, die Vorlage ist aus der diesjährigen Just Cross Stitch Weihnachtsausgabe, war ganz schön kniffelig beim zusammensetzen;-(

...from Margit for the F&S christmas round, they are incredibly large and I love them that much, thx Margit for a great exchange;-))

Diese squares habe ich von Margit bekommen und mir gefallen sie total gut, mit ein bischen Glück schaffe ich es noch, vor Weihnachten ein paar Sachen für mich fertig zu machen;-))

Another autumn exchange...

...arrived...it´s the SBEBB Harvest Time exchange I made for Carol, and I am very proud of it;-)) It´s one of the things I would have loved to keep*smile*...so perhaps I have to do it again, but I said that often and never did...I don´t like it that much to stitch a design several times, there are tooo many other things I want to stitch;-))

Dieses Kissen habe ich für Carol gestickt und zwar beim "SBEBB Harvest Time exchange" und ich bin ganz stolz drauf, ich hätts am liebsten selber behalten;-))

...I got a wonderful cube in the SBEBB harvest time exchange from Goldie, I never got one before so it was a lot of ohhhs and ahhhs when unpacking, I really really like it, thx so much Goldie, for this wonderful exchange;-))

Diesen wunderschönen Würfel habe ich von Goldie bekommen und mich sooo dolle drüber gefreut, vor allem weils etwas ist, dass ich selber noch nicht ausprobiert habe;-))

Herbstwichtel für Beate...

Das ist mein Herbstwichtel für Beate, der war auch Ewigkeiten unterwegs und sie hat mich dann gleich angerufen und ich denke, er hat ihr auch gefallen, ausserdem hab ich ihr noch ein gefilztes Kürbismädchen dazugepackt, dasselbe könnt Ihr unter meinen Herbstdekorationen finden, wenn Ihrs sehen wollt;-))

This is an autumn exchange we made in one of my German yahoo groups...a pinkeep for Beate...and I think she liked it;-))

Terry´s wish on the MAW Board...

....was for something Halloween, so I decided to stitch something German, because all the halloween charts from American designers are so popular and I don´t want to send something she already has;-)) I have chosen parts of Elisas halloween pumpkin and finished it into a pillow.

And I added a pic how the whole chart looks like...it´s a pumpkin;-)) Hope you can see it??

Sorry....

I have to say sorry to all who have waited for a note or email from me, but I wasn´t online that much during the last few weeks because both kids were ill and some other personal problems, they are not all solved meanwhile but the kids are in school and kindergarten again and I am trying to find a little bit of christmas feeling now...I have put down my autum decorations so I am ready for christmas deco now;-)) I didn´t buy anything new so it will be red-white again as last year, but these are my favourite christmas colors and the kids and Dh like them too...

I still have to send out three more exchanges and then I am stitching something for christmas which will be mine;-) And I already decided to slow down with exchanges next year, perhaps one per month or so...let me count: There are 11 different exchanges I joined which should be send in November*uff*....there are some small ones but they are all stitched items and I didn´t expect to have ill kids :-(( Well, I also got wonderful exchanges back but it´s hard I couldn´t stitch one single stitch for me only;-)))

And I have tons of photos to show you, will do that later today and the rest of the week;-))

Eine Scherentasche für mich...

...habe ich aus einem freebie gemacht, das Ihr hier findet. Leider ist die dann beim zusammennähen nicht so schön geworden, wie ichs gerne gehabt hätte, aber gut, sie ist für mich selber, da geht das schon;-) Ich übe halt nochmal mit einer zweiten;-))

Übrigens, bei Sharon auf der Freebieseite gibts soooo viele schöne Sachen zum sticken, nehmt Euch mal ein bischen zeit und stöbert dort mal;-))

This is a freebie from Sharon and I finished it into a scissor pocket, I am not that happy with my finishing, but it´s my first pocket so I will have to get some more practise on these;-))

MaW for Becky

This is my Biscornu (number 46) I stitched for Becky on the MAW board, well, I tried to finish it with pacthwork fabric and it isn´t as regular as it should be, it´s a French design from Tournicoton...

Dieses Biscornu ist ebenfalls ein Tausch, Mensch wenn ich das so hier sehe, dann sollte ich wohl nächstes Jahr mal wieder mehr für mich sticken;-)) Aber im Moment macht das halt soooviel Spass:-)) Das Muster ist von Anne aus Frankreich, ein Teil eines Gartens.

Leuchtturmherz für Ulrike..

...dieses Herz habe ich für das Geburtstagswichteln im Stickstübchen gestickt, es war für Ulrike und ich denke, sie hat sich sehr gefreut, den Stoff habe ich selber eingefärbt:-))

I stitched this French design for a German birthday exchange in one of my Yahoo groups, I dyed the linen by myself and I am very satisfied with it:-))

And finally...

....the autumn squares I got from nadia in another RF&S round...aren´t they pretty??? I already want to have them finished but time flies at the moment....have you realized there are just around 45 days left until christmas???

Got an autumn exchange

...we made an autumn exchange in one of my German groups and look what I got:-))) I love my new PS ornie and there is another design on the back...

Diesen tollen Herbsttausch habe ich von Anja H. bekommen und ich hab mich sooo gefreut...das Ornament ist auf beiden Seiten mit Prairie Schooler Motiven bestickt;-))) Vielen Dank nochmal Anja:-)

Nearly finished...

...Pippi Longstocking...this is how my Pippi looks actually....it´s one of this year´s goals...to finish her...and I will do so over the weekend;-)))

Pippi ist fast fertig...erinnert Ihr Euch, sie gehört zu meiner Liste, was ich dieses Jahr auf jeden Fall machen möchte...diese Liste hab ich mehrmals überarbeitet das ganze Jahr durch, pippi ist übriggeblieben und ich will sie über das Wochenende fertig machen, ist ja nicht mehr viel;-))

Das ist das letzte Bild für heute, ein Fadenhalter oder wie nennt man das so in deutsch??? Ich hab mich sehr schwer getan, da am Ende, wenns komplett fertig ist, ein Loch zu bohren und ich weiss nicht, ob ich das oft machen will/werde;-))

SBEBB Pumpkin Patch exchange

I want to show you my first SBEBB exchange, it´s called "Pumpkin patch" and I found the perfect pattern for it: "Little pumpkin in the patch" by Heart in Hand, and I finished it as a long pillow, well, it is that long because I want to have the complete word "Halloween" on th...oh and it has arrived...in Veronicas house;-))

Das ist ein weiterer exchange, den ich gemacht habe, ein ziemlich langes schmales Kissen, aber mir gefällts, auf der linken Seite sollte eben das ganze Wort Halloween stehen, ansonsten hätt ichs gerne ein bissel kürzer gehabt;-))

Das ist ein weiteres Biscornu, das ich gemacht habe, "Batty Jack" von Just Nan, und mir gefällts sehr gut, ist aber auch ein Tausch und ging letzte Woche schon auf die Reise;-))

Mattress pincushion from Lisa...

Here is another great exchange I got, the HOE mattress pincushion and this one is from Lisa V, she found out I love strawberries things and so she made me this wonderful pincushion;-))) And sent great goodies too, so thx Lisa for a great exchange;-))

Something for me...

I stitched this little pillow just for me, it´s a felt pillow and I just added the stitching to the front, a PS design;-))

Dieses kleine Kissen hab ich jetzt mal einfach so für mich gestickt, gefällt mir sehr gut, ich habe mal zwei Filzplatten dafür zusammengenäht...

Halloween exchange...

Look what I made for Rachel...this was an halloween exchange in my yahoogroup and I tried to do a pillow...and oh, it´s my first one I finished this way and I love it...and I think Rachel likes it too;-))

Wie gefällt Euch denn das Kissen? Ist das erste, das ich auf diese Weise fertig gemacht habe, im Prinzip werden dabei zwei komplette Kissen aufeinender genäht, sodass der Rand absteht...das design ist von Gisela Süskind, allerdings hab ichs farbig und positiv gestickt.

A wish through the MAW board...

I... wanted a flatfold for soo long now so I asked for it on the MAW board, and Edgar was so kind to fulfill my wish, and here it is: A very big flatfold with a LHN design, perfect for the upcoming season;-)) I love it, so thx to Edgar again;-))

Ich wollte schon immer solch ein "Flatfold" haben, wie deutscht man bloss diese ganzen Sachen ein?*grins*...habe also auf dem Make a wish board gefragt, ob mir jemand eins machen würde und Edgar war so nett....ist das nicht schön geworden? Gefällt mir sehr gut, danke Edgar;-))

Exchanges...

I got several exchanges during the last few days....this one is my very first one on the SBEBB board and it came from Sylvie, it´s the pumpkin patch one and Sylvie stitched a wonderful French design...over one...and finished it into a pinkeep...I also got lots of goodies, so thx so much Sylvie, it is a great package and I love everything;-))

In den letzten Tagen hab ich auch einige schöne "Exchanges" bekommen, das hier ist von Sylvie, der Pumpkin Patch exchange, ist mein erster auf dem SBEBB board und mir gefällts sehr gut, der kleine "pinkeep" ist über eins gestickt, das gefällt mir ja schonmal sehr, weil ich das selber nicht gerne mache...und die Extras sind auch super, Sylvie hat meinen blog gut gelesen und wusste was mir gefällt;-) Vielen dank nochmal Sylvie

New scissor fobs...

I made some new scissor fobs, well I made them some time ago but I haven´t done very much in my blog during the last few weeks due to illness and some other personal problems...so I have to show you a lot now;-)) The fob in the middle was for my friend Kerstin, she collects squeaky ducks, the larger ones and I found this small one with a hole inside so I have to make her one;-)

Hier könnt Ihr ein paar neue Scherenanhänger angucken, die hab ich schon vor einer Weile gemacht, aber irgendwie war ich die letzten paar Wochen nicht so fit, hatte eine eitrige Angina und ausserdem noch ein paar andere persönliche Probleme, aber jetzt....zeig ich Euch mal alles, was ich die letzten paar Wochen so gemacht habe;-)) Kerstin zum Beispiel sammelt Quietsche-entchen, also die grossen fürs bad und da hab ich diese kleine da in der Mitte gefunden, die musste ich also gleich für sie verarbeiten;-))

New stash...

As many of you know I can´t resist on getting more stash and the last weekend was heaven for me*smile*...I bought lots of new things how you can see on the pics above...I ordered some Tournicoton charts some time ago and got all of these too....aren´t they great?? And oh I got some German things too...unusual for me because I normally am not keen on having these, but there are some designers I like...these are Gisele Süskind, Elisa Tortonesi, Farbenfroh, Unisono and Kreativcafe...

Nun ja, natürlich darf an so einem Wochenende das einkaufen auch nicht fehlen, guckt mal, habe reiche Beute gemacht*uff*...dürfte aber nun für dieses Jahr das letzte gewesen sein;-)) Ich habe vor kurzem mehrere Sachen von Tournicoton bestellt und nun habe ich die Qual der Wahl, die sind alle soooo schön,-)) Aber für dieses Jahr darf ich nichts neues mehr anfangen, dafür hab ich noch zuviel liegen was unbedingt vorher gemacht werden muss...

Great halloween exchange

Look what great exchange I got from Jen in my yahoo group...
She stitched me two Prairie Schooler designs, one finished into a treat bag and the with into a pinkeep;-))) I like them both very much...and the bag was filled with lots of goodies, you can see the whole exchange on the second pic, and on the third pic you can see I got the companion piece to the witch already in another exchange from Amy V. I have to add a post for this too...but now I have to go and look after DH, it´s his birthday today;-))
