Myöhäinen top-uutinen

Tästä tapahtumasta on jo aikaa, mutta en ole saanut sitä tänne blogiin julkaistua (kuten tavallista, kesäaika on minulle todella kiireistä työn ja ulkoilmaharrastusten kanssa). Mutta siis tekemäni lintukortti valittiin Top 3 -tekeleiden joukkoon Through The Craftroom Door -haastesivustolla, ja koska aiemmin en siellä top-sijoille ollut päässyt, niin nyt sivupalkkia pääsee koristamaan tällainen uusi lätkä:

This has happened already awhile ago but I have not published it here on my blog (as usual, the summertime has been overwhelmingly busy for me with work and outdoor activies). But, my bird card got chosen on the Top 3 -list at Through The Craftroom Door -challenge page, and since this was my first top position there I got this  brand new badge to put on my site bar:

GDT - Through the Craftroom Door

I don't usually post two cards in one day but today is different because I was asked to be a guest designer for Through the Craftroom Door magazine and its publishing date was today.

So here we go with card number two...

Image is a digital one from Besties and I colored the cute little girl with my ProMarkers. I added some distressing with peony VersaColor ink pad around the die-cut (die: Sizzix) edge and some tiny dots with thin markers.

Designer papers are from Polka Doodles (flowers) and Shery K Designs (ice cream), both digital ones. Flower is put together from old recycled candle ring pieces and button is from grandma. Pink ribbon with a bow and some card candies for the finishing touch.

Yleensä en julkaise kahta korttia samana päivänä mutta tänään teen poikkeuksen, sillä minua pyydettiin vierailevaksi design teamin jäseneksi Through the Craftroom Doorin lehteen, jonka julkaisupäivä oli tänään.

Joten tässäpäs tulee kortti numero kaksi...

Bestiesin suloisen digileimatyttösen väritin promarkereilla. Sizzixin stanssilla stanssatun pohjan reunoja sävyttelin peony-sävyisellä VersaColorin mustetyynyllä ja lisäksi tein pieniä erivärisiä pisteitä ohutkärkisillä tusseilla.

Digikuviopaperit ovat Polka Doodlesin (kukkakuosi) ja Shery K Designsin (jäätelöt). Kukkasen rakentelin vanhoista kynttilämansettien osasista ja keskustan nappi on peräisin mummolta. Pinkki nauha kera rusetin ja muutama card candy loppusilaukseksi.
