Keeping busy...

I have been putting these pie pieces together between chemo and tests getting ready for my stem cell transplant that is scheduled for June 23rd. They are very tedious but I do a few at a time.

I plan on making this lap size, this is one quarter.

 

It has ben too long since I last posted

 Not sure where to start. it looks like I skipped 2022. 

I finished a few quilts, this was one for my mother-in-law's 95 Birthday. I did some other quilts but don't have pictures loaded on this computer. Guess I will find them and show you soon. 

I Ended my Chipper Quilter Business at the end of 2021 and now quilt for friends and pleasure.

In other news December 10,2022 I experienced an unexpected hip break and had a Hemioplasty hip replacement, spent four days in the hospital and then the rest of December in rehab. I have since January 2023 been home trying to get back to normal as the Nerve block from the surgery left me with a foot drop. The hip break was kind of a blessing in disguise, as it uncovered that I have Multiple myeloma cancer and so I am now being treated for that. All treatments are going well and I am healing . Physical Therapy is progressing, but this is going to take time to get my strength back.

The good news is I am starting to get ready to get some sewing time in. I am getting tired of just sitting and need to create something. So I am planning to blog about my progress.
