Farmers Wife Sow-a-long....

I decided to join in on the fun. I started the Farmers Wife quilt awhile ago and plan to actually start sewing along when the group gets to the blocks that I haven't sewn already. I am not very far ahead.

Saturday I am going to the One Stop Shop Hop in Lancaster, SC. My friends and I are leaving tomorrow so that we have plenty of time to shop on our way there. We make it an overnight event. The plan is to stop at MaryJo's and IKEA, then dinner at the olive garden. We then get up Saturday morning and get to the shop hop when it opens. Hope you have a great weekend too.

New Purse for me....

This is the front. It has my new logo. This is an easy purse to make it is called the 'Margo Bag' and is a Lazy Girl Design.

 Here's the back. I added a pocket for my cell phone. I am very pleased with how this bag turned out. The fabric is denim and batik.

Next on my list to work on are some charity projects.
