A finish...

I finished the binding on this little quilt.

Also I finished my block for May and am now ready to pick up the June block on Friday. I am behind by one month, so next week I will have to sew two blocks to be caught up.

I was not sure if I had signed up for the Primitive Gatherings' Summer Block of the Week, But look what came in the mail. These are going to be ten inch finished blocks. The background is black flannel. It is so pretty. Glad I signed up, just not sure if I will be able to keep up. Actually I am sure that I will not be able to keep up. But I will have the kits for twelve blocks to work on when I can.

As a reward for doing their BOW you receive these cute blocks as a bonus. These are six inch finished and are done on cotton shirting backgrounds. 

Practicing and warming up...

This is one of my extra quilts and I am warming up so that I can do a good job on a customer's quilt. No feathers for me until I get the chance to practice. In the mean time I have a couple of customer quilts to do.

For the quilting on this one I just did loops on each triangle. Not very fancy, but functional.
