Another finished quilt plus a table runner...

This quilt belongs to Carol G. I used one of my new pantos called "Bountiful Harvest" I think it looks good on this quilt.

At May's BOM I won these hexies. I always feel it is like a challenge to try and make something out of the door prize by the next BOM.  So last night and this morning I pieced the hexies into a table runner. I only had five hexies left over. I am going to try and finish it tonight. It was fun to make, even so hexies are not my favorite to work with, too many y-seams.

A little piecing....

After so much quilting, I decided to do some piecing. This was started a couple years ago and now it is a top waiting to be quilted.

This was the original pattern fro Fons & Porter Magazine, July/August 2012. Didn't really like the multi colored stars, but the background looked like flowers to me. So I played with some leftover batiks and a dark green for the background. Next, do I want or need to add centers to the flowers?
