Marj's QUILTS OF 2008

I gave this rose quilt to my mother-in-law for Christmas 2008

This quilt was entered in Aiken Quilt Show 2008 and won a second place ribbon. I have been a participant in this quilt show for the past 3 years and this was my first time to earn a ribbon.

This is a flimsy of a bargello pattern from Australian Patchwork & quilting. Hopefully I can get it quilted this year.

This is a flimsy of a Bonnie Hunter's Mystery quilt "Orange Crush"

This is the quilt that I gave to my sister-in-law for Christmas 2008. It is a pattern from British Patchwork & Quilting.

I couldn't find a picture of the finished quilt, but I'll take one later so you can see the borders that I added. This was made using what I call "quilt seeds". My mother sent me her already cut extra pieces from her quilt.

This is my mother's quilt (with my Dad).
I have been working on the daisy chain quilt top. Should have the center together and boarders on by the weekend.
Hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my quilts.

Daisy Chain quilt

These pictures are of my current project in progress. I started with one of Moda's new scrap bags. I was able to get 38strips, 2 1/2" x32" long. Then I started putting them together and found that I needed more , so I picked up another bag of Moda scraps. I am now able to get the equivalent of 1 1/2 jelly rolls, to make a twin size quilt.
