Guest Designer Post - Spring Flowers

Hi, it is Godelieve again, with two Spring cards.
This week I wanted to use the tape that Kim sent, and more buttons and Basic Grey paper.

I used the Oh Christmas Tree stencil from Dylusions as a template to create tulips :)

Tape, buttons, stitching and a Dymo label.

The flowers are cut from Basic Grey paper.  I inked the edges with Distress Ink #Peeled Paint.

And another card in Spring colors, with buttons as flowers, tape and stitching.

I used:
Basic Grey Paper Pad - Clippings
Buttons
Dymo Labels

This was my last blogpost as a guest designer for eclectic Paperie.
Thanks all for the nice comments on my cards.
And thank you Kim for asking me!

Guest Designer Post - Hello

Hi!  It's Godelieve here with another guest designer post.
On today's card I stamped a background with Wplus9 stamps, and combined it with Basic Grey papers from the 6 x 6 Clippings pad.

Flowers are made from another sheet.  I love these papers.  Used it to cut the letters too.
I attached Basic Grey buttons to the flower centers.

Card base is inked with Distress Ink #Old Paper and an ink blending tool

I used:
Stamps:  Wplus9
Inkpads: Ranger Archival #Cobalt; Ranger Distress #Old Paper
Paper Pad:  Basic Grey Clippings

Guest Designer Post - Tags & Card

Hi, it is Godelieve again, with another guest designer post.
This week I used two sheets from the Basic Grey paper pad in Kim's parcel.

I covered the bottom part of these tags with designer paper, cut a heart and punched two butterflies.
I used a white pen to draw the "stitches" on the heart and butterflies and stamped the floral branches, little hearts, key and words.

On the card I stitched the torn pieces of designer paper together with a zig zag stitch.

 Flowers are by Maya Road.
I stamped "love" on the little tag I cut from the same paper.

I chose matching markers to color the stamped floral branches.

Have a great day!

Paper: Basicgrey Clippings
Inkpad: Ranger Archival #Jet Black
Distress Markers #Wild Honey, Bundled Sage, Aged Mahogany
Flowers: Maya Road TK1868 Ruffle Blossoms

Guest Designer Post - Trees

Hi, it's Godelieve  I'm back with my second Guest Designer Post.
I made a set of 2 cards.
I used stencils from Dylusions to do the trees.  I sponged with Distress Ink #Iced Spruce and used the stencil also as a template to cut more trees from the Echo Park Paper.

Another Dylusions stencil was used to sponge the leaves with Distress Ink #Chipped Saphire.
I doodled with black and white pens around the leaves.
The tiny hearts on the background is a stamp from Market Street Stamps.

I finished the cards off with Hero Arts words.

Stamps:  Hero Arts CL639 Pocket Watch;  Market Sreet Stamps Foodie Doodles Mss-KG-05;
Echo Park Paper Co Winter Wishes
White Pen

Have a great day!

Guest Designer Post - Happiness

Hi, my name is Godelieve Tijskens, also known as Stampingmathilda, living in Belgium.  I'm happy to be asked as guest designer for January here on eclectic Paperie.  Thanks Kim!

Today I made two cards, using Hero Arts stamps and Echo Park papers from the package Kim has sent me.

The first card was stamped with Brilliance Ink #Graphite Black and colored with Distress Ink and a damp brush.

I stitched around the image and added layered buttons.

Gingham paper is from the Winter Wishes paper pad by Echo Park.

For my second card I used the small stamps from the Pocket Watch set to stamp a collage background with Memento ink on another sheet from the paper pad.

I stamped the sentiment on a strip of the same paper, machine stitched it onto the background.  I added a Basic Grey button to the other end of the strip.
I also cut a heart.  I distressed the edges and embossed the heart using one of my good old embossingfolders.

I stamped another butterfly from the set, cut it out and glued it onto the embossed heart.

Have a great day!
