The December kits are ready and waiting for you over at
My Creative Scrapbook. Each of these 4 kits (Main, Creative, Album and Limited Edition) is simply breathtaking and packed full of gorgeous papers, chipboard, stickers, alphas, specialty brads, ribbons, etc! You MUST go and have a look!
I had the amazing opportunity to work with both the MAIN KIT and the ALBUM KIT and WOWZERS! Below are the layouts and projects I created with the Main kit, featuring papers from My Little Yellow Bicycle's Christmas line.

Some paper rolling for a more textured look.

I decided to mask in some letters to tie in with the softness of the photo.

Some of the gorgeous embellies found in the main kit - snowflakes, large pointsettas, smaller flowers, red bling...

I decided to cut out the die cut circle included in the kit. Rather than having the decorative gold edge originally on the die cut circle, I distressed and added some bling from the kit.

More close ups of the huge assortment of embellies included in the kit. I forced myself to use more than I normally do just to ensure that there wasn't a tonne leftover (eventhough there was!)

The papers were just so beautiful in this kit - and all worked so well together, that it was difficult to choose which papers to use with one another. I finally decided on some cooler blue tones for this layout and paired it with the warmth of the cardboard. I simply tore the outer layer off the cardboard, rolled up some edges and painted white ato achieve a sort of snow-like effect...

The alphas were glittery gold and I found that they got a little lost with the colour scheme of the layout so I simply inked them red!

Here is a very quick and easy altered ornament I created. I purchased a worn brass star from Michales for less than $2.00 and simply added some beautiful paper and ribbon from the kit and voila! A fantastic decoration for your tree or a lovely hostess gift!

Close up of some detailing I did with 3D Fabric paint... similar effect to stickles.

Another altered ornament from Michaels. This was originally wood and I simply traced the shape onto the patterned paper, fussy cut out and added some detailing.

An altered sled using the beautiful papers from the Main kit as well as the adorable embellies!
PHEW! And that's just the main kit!!
Check back a little later today to see what I did with the equally gorgeous album kit!!
