February Flops!

February seemed like I did outrageous amount of drugstore shopping! Don't get me wrong, I have tons of love for drugstore makeup, but this time around I ended up with some flops. These products were each featured in my February Hits and Misses video, but I also wanted to give them a quick mention here!

L'Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Liner Pencil in Blue ($8.99)-  This is from the new limited edition Color Creations collection by L'Oreal. I thought this pencil was going to be a fabulous bright turquoise like the mascara, unfortuanately it was an average navy. I was just disappointed in the shade (I was under the impression that it was going to be a match with the mascara). For the price, I can get a better navy elsewhere.

L'Oreal Voluminous Color Creations Mascara in Turquoise Crush ($9.99) - The turquoise color is what caught my eye here, I mean who doesn't want turquoise lashes? Unfortunately, I found this mascara formula extremely thick, and it took like five layers for the color to show up (keep in mind that I have blonde lashes too). It was nothing like the original voluminous, what a disappointment!

Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Ooh La La Sexy Eyes Trio ($12.95)- I usually love Physician's Formula liners, I have too many to count. I decided to give this one a try because there are three different liners in the kit, a pencil, kajal, and a pen. The pen was watery and poorly pigmented, the kajal and pencil were ok. The big downer for me was that these liners all had a vanilla scent to them, which  stung my eyes! Yikes!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Paints in Rich Russet and Chestnut Taupe ($5.49 each)- I know, everybody seems to love these. Not me. I found that these creased horribly and faded only after a few hours of wear. I really didn't like the wateryness of the formula either.. The colors are pretty, but these just aren't my style.

What are your February Flops?

L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks

L'Oreal definitely isn't my first choice when it comes to lip products at the drugstore. For that reason, I wasn't expecting these new liquid lipsticks to blow my mind. I really didn't find them to be anything special, honestly they are more of a pigmented gloss to me, not a lipstick at all.

There are 16 shades available, and I chose Ruby Opera (left) and Pink Tremolo (right).

Ruby Opera (bottom) Pink Tremolo (top)
Swatches are two swipes each.

Claims: "Transform lips from ordinary to extraordinary. Color is richer, lip surface is smoother and shine is magnified. Formulated with precious micro-oils and rich color pigments, Extraordinaire provides the ideal balance of color and care for perfect lips."
Pigmentation: These are extremely pigmented, that is the best thing about this product. It really does only take a little of this gloss to get full color on the lips.
Finish/Texture: The finish is very shiny, like a gloss. The texture is smooth, but almost a little too slick. It did bleed out of my lip line a bit, and I usually don't have that problem.
Lasting Power: These only lasted 2-3 hours on my lips, and they did bleed.
Scent: OMG you guys, these smell SO STRONG. It's like a cherry/chemical smell. It's just so terrible, I hate it because it takes a while for it to fade away.
Packaging: I think the gold plastic is so tacky, the bottle is just ugly to me in general. The applicator is fuzzy and it grabs a lot of product, which I do like.
Price/Availability: I paid $10 each for these at CVS

Likes:
  • Great pigmentation
  • Nice applicator/easy to use
  • Variety of shades to choose from

Dislikes:
  • Awful scent
  • Expensive for the quality
  • Slippery texture/bleeds out of my lip line
  • Poor lasting power
  • I think the packaging is kinda tacky..

Overall:
If you're looking for something that feels and looks like a pigmented gloss, this is for you. I do like the pigmentation on these, but there are other things at the drugstore that do the same thing for me that are cheaper, such as the Maybelline Color Elixirs.

I wouldn't say these are a liquid lipstick, especially since they feel and act more like a gloss. I wasn't a fan of the extremely shiny finish, or the super slick texture. The texture was almost gooey, it seemed to slip out of my lip line no matter what. The scent is almost unbearable for me, like I said it's a weird cherry/chemical scent that is just so unnatural. I also think that ten dollars (that's not even counting tax) is a bit much for the amount and quality of the product.

Overall, these just were not exciting to me.  I think they're nice to use over a lipstick, but that's about it. There are other things at the drugstore that are pretty much the same idea, but are cheaper and better quality.

Have you tried the L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks yet?

L'Oreal La Laque and Le Matte Lipsticks

L'Oreal recently expanded their Colour Riche line with eight new lip crayons, half are matte and half are shiny! I really loved the varitey in this line, plus all of the colors looked gorgeous in the packaging.  I'm a sucker for a good lip crayon, but the formulas aren't anything special. I was a bit disappointed in these, especially after hearing countless rave reviews.

I could only find seven of the eight pencils available. It took me forever to find these, I had to go to about five different Targets! I'm unsure if these are limited edition or not, the display at Target didn't say they were, but I've seen others online which stated they were. Who knows?

Here are the applicators. The lipsticks is slightly pointed at the tips, but it wears off immediately after the first use, and there's no sharpener included- boo!

Swatches from left to right: She's So Matte, Matte-r of Fact, No Matte-r What, I Laque You a Lot, Never-Laque-ing, Laque-onic, and Laquer-ized.

She's So Matte is a bright coral.  Matte-r of Fact is a vampy browinish red. No Matte-r What is a beigy brown.  I Laque You a Lot is a bright orange red.  Never-Laque-ing is a dusty pink. Laque-onic is a bright blue toned red, it's my favorite of the entire line! Laquer-ized is a bright purple that has a bit of pink in it. These swatches are all one swipe. I hate the cheesy names.. haha!

Claims: "Shiny/Matte full coverage lip color." Those are the only claims I could find.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation on both formulas is excellent. The pigmentation is the best thing about this product. The colors are all very intense with little effort.
Finish/Texture: The finishes are matte and shiny, as you can tell from the names. The mattes feel extremely dry, my lips felt terrible after wearing one. The laques felt creamy going on, but they aren't hydrating. They sit on top of the lips, and it's one of those lipsticks you can feel when you are wearing it. The formulas weren't comfortable for me.
Lasting Power: Both of these formulas weren't very long lasting, which was surpsing to me. I only got about three hours of wear before they started to get patchy. They did stain my lips, but in a very uneven way. This is a lipstick that needs a lot of attention-babysitting really.
Scent: The scent is that strong powdery/floral smell that L'Oreal has in it's original lipsticks. It's unpleasant to me, and it may really bother some people.
Packaging: These come in a slender, plastic twist-up tube. The tips are slanted, but they quickly turn into nubs, and there's no sharpener included.
Price/Availability: I paid $8 each for these at Target

Likes:
  • Very pigmented
  • Variety of finishes/colors
  • Pretty packaging (I think it looks nice for L'Oreal)
Dislikes:
  • Lasting power is mediocre- 3 hours at most
  • The formulas weren't comfortable on my lips
  • Wears off into a patchy stain
  • Strong powdery/floral scent
  • Limited edition- I think (also very difficult to find)
  • A bit pricey- these aren't worth $8
Overall:
I had high expectations for these, since L'Oreal lip products are usually good quality. Plus, it almost seems like everybody in the beauty community has raved about them! I loved the idea of a lipstick in pencil form, especially in matte and shiny finishes, but the formulas are just disappointing.

The mattes are very drying, my lips felt chapped after I had worn one for only a few hours. The laques were creamy going on, but the formula just sat on top of my lips. I could feel it, in a slightly sticky way. I had slight feathering, and I did get a weird patchy stain on my lips after the color wore off, which only took three hours. The scent is of very strong baby powder and flowers. The packaging looks pretty, but there's no sharpener, and the laques get a little gooey in the tube, since they are so creamy.

Overall, these lipsticks need a lot of babysitting. When I wore these, I had to constantly check in the mirror. I felt like my lips needed a good lip balm the whole day, which is an awful feeling! They just aren't worth the hype in my opinion. They are very pigmented, but that's the only good thing about them! I only kept Laque-onic, because I just loved the color.

If you would like to see lip swatches, please watch my video review!

So many people have raved about these, what do you think?

L'Oreal Made For Me Pinks Collection

I feel that L'Oreal doesn't do collections as often as other brands. I heard about this line from a few popular beauty gurus who all raved about it, but unfortunately I didn't feel the same way. The collection is entirely made up of different shades of pink,  organized by skin tone from light to dark.

There are eight Color Riche Lipsticks, four le Gloss lipglosses, and six Color Riche nail polishes to chose from in the Made For Me Pinks collection. I've also heard this collection referred to as the 'Colour Me Pink' collection, either way, all of the shade names are the same. I posted a picture of the display on my Instagram if you would like to see the rest of the shades!

I chose four items. Two Color Riche Lipsticks (left) I Pink You're Cute and (right) Raspberry Rush. I also bought two le Gloss Lipglosses (left) Berry Chic and  (right) Rosy Demeanor.

Swatched from left to right: I Pink You're Cute, Raspberry Rush, Berry Chic, and Rosy Demeanor. I Pink You're Cute is a sheer, light baby pink, but it looks a bit coral on the lips. Raspberry Rush is a sheer red with pink undertones. Berry Chic is a very pigmented fuchsia gloss with cool undertones. Rosy Demeanor is a light coral-pink gloss with warm undertones.

The formula on these lipsticks in certainly not the same as the regular Color Riche lipsticks. These ones are sheer, and the consistency is too slick. It almost instantly melts when you place in onto the lips. I have no idea why this is, but it makes application difficult and it really annoys me. The le Glosses are the same formula as the regular line, which is great!

If you would like to see lip swatches for all of these products, please watch my video review here.

Claims: For the lipstick: "Luxuriously Rich Color.Creamy.Intense Hydration." For the glosses: Extreme Shine.Supreme Creaminess.Ultra-hydrating Argan Oil & Omega 3."
Finish/Texture: The finish of the lipsticks is sheer and glossy, while the texture is slick and a bit greasy. The glosses have a creamy finish and a smooth texture.
Lasting Power: The lasting power on the lipsticks is only about 2-3 hours, and the glosses last about 3-4 hours on me.
Scent:The lipsticks have that signature powdery/floral scent that all of the original L'Oreal lipsticks have. I'm not a fan of it, but I put up with it if I really like the color. The Le Glosses have a slight vanilla scent that I really enjoy.
Packaging: The lipstick packaging is the usual gold tube, but I notcied that the tubes dig into the sides of the lipsticks. I'm sure this is because of the formula, because I've never had that problem with this lipstick line in the past. The glosses are just in a plain squeeze tube.
Price/Availability: I paid $9/ lipstick and $8.50/ gloss at Walgreens.

Likes:
  • Variety of shades is great
  • The idea of the collection is creative
  • Creaminess of the glosses is great/comfortable on the lips
  • The glosses are very pigmented
Dislikes:
  • The lipsticks are too slick/feel greasy on the lips
  • The lipsticks melt almost immediately during application
  • The lipstick tubes dig into the side of the lipstick
  • The lipsticks have a strong, overwhelming baby powder/floral smell
  • Expensive for drugstore

Overall:
I think the idea L'Oreal had for this collection is wonderful, a pink lipstick and gloss for any skin tone. With that in mind, I still was disappointed in the mediocre quality of the lipsticks! They were honestly horrible to work with, they were greasy and 'melty'. Anytime I tried to work with them, they just slipped all over my lips. The glosses are what really stood out to me here. The le Glosses have a creamy, pigmented formula that's just so comfortable on the lips.

I really dislike how expensive these items were, $8.50 for a lipgloss at the drugstore is a little much, and $9 for a lipstick that's greasy is just ridiculous. Overall I was disappointed in this collection, even though the idea was creative. I was left feeling like L'Oreal could have done better here!

Have you seen this collection in your drugstores? Would you try it?

L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Excess Mascara

I remember back when the original L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes mascara was released, it seems so long ago now! I haven't bought it since, because I remember it not doing much for my lashes. With that said, I had a feeling that this mascara wasn't going to impress me either. It's actually the worst mascara from L'Oreal that I've ever tried..

The packaging on the Excess version is very similar to the original. The only difference is that part of the tube is metallic red.

The wand is quite large. It's very long and consists of tiny rubber bristles. The bristles aren't too hard, but they aren't soft either. In the photo you can't really tell how much mascara is on the wand, but it's way too much. It's all caked in between the bristles!

Here are the results! As you can see my lashes are all spiked together in scraggly mess. Even when I tried wiping off the wand, I still had the same results. I absolutely hate the way that this mascara made my lashes look and feel. Just dreadful.
Claims: I can't find any claims on this mascara other than the ones stated on the packaging. 'Intense maximized volume. No clumps clean sweep wiping system."
Formula: The formula was very wet and heavy on my lashes.  Once it dried it felt crunchy and flaked tons throughout the day.
Wand Type: The wand is made of tiny rubber bristles that are evenly spread apart. The wiping system looks like it does a good job, but the wand actually still packed with too much mascara, I demonstrate this in my video review.
Price/Availability: I paid $8 at Harmons in Bed Bath and Beyond

Likes:
  • Formula is very black
Dislikes:
  • Clumps and spikes my lashes together
  • Wiping system doesn't work
  • Lashes feel and look crispy
  • Weighs lashes down
  • Formula is too wet
  • The wand is too long/difficult to work with
  • Wand is loaded with too much mascara
  • Doesn't live up to claims

Overall:
I didn't have very high hopes for this mascara, but at the same time I wasn't expecting to hate it. This is the worst L'Oreal mascara I've ever tried. It didn't live up to any of the claims that were stated on the packaging. (I still can't find any other official claims, but when I do I will update this review).

The 'clean sweep' wiping system didn't do anything at all, the amount of mascara on the brush was still too much to work with. The  heavy and wet formula weighed my lashes down. Once it dried, my lashes looked and felt extremely crunchy. It flaked off like crazy throughout the day, and also smudged on my lower lash line.

Overall this mascara didn't do anything for my lashes other than make them look terrible! I'm not saying that everybody should hate this mascara, but I'm just letting you know that I absolutely hate it. I tried to make it work so many different ways, but nothing helped. I am a fan of many L'Oreal mascaras, but this one is last on my list.

You can check out my review and demo of this mascara here on YouTube!

L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation

I'm not familiar with liquid to powder products, I guess that's why I was so compelled to give this stuff a try! L'oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder claims to give the skin a 'perfect bare skin finish'. Even though this is an interesting product for the drugstore, it left me unimpressed.

The bottle reads: Magic Nude Liquid Powder. Bare Skin Perfecting Makeup, Octinoxate SPF 18, Broad Spectrum SPF 18.

Claims: "Perfect, flawless complexion- minimizes appearance of imperfections. SPF 18"
Formula: The formula isn't exactly liquid to powder. It's really a liquid that doesn't set at all. A powder is needed. The consistency is very runny.
Finish: The finish is dry, it made certain parts of my face look very dry (please refer to my video review).
Coverage: The coverage is very light, it can be built up to almost medium if you play around with it, which isn't exactly practical for me.
Lasting Power: This started to melt off right after I applied it, it wouldn't last a minute without being set with some kind of powder.
Scent: This has a strong alcohol/sunscreen/baby powder scent.
Packaging: This bottle is made of glass that is frosted at the top. There is a twist off cap, and tons of product can be wasted when pouring, so be careful!
Price/Availability: I paid $10+ at Harmon's in Bed Bath and Beyond.

Likes:
  • Color matches decently
  • Interesting idea for drugstore
Dislikes:
  • Coverage is too light
  • Scent is strong
  • Packaging is wasteful
  • Lasting power is horrible
  • Finish makes my skin look unflattering
  • Doesn't live up to claims
Overall:
I think that the idea L'Oreal had was nice, but the formula doesn't live up to it's claims at all and really needs improvement. This foundation never exactly set to a powder finish for me, even when I tried applying it with my fingers, which is the recommended way! I waited over 30 minutes for it to dry with each method that I used to apply it, and it  accentuated my pores. The lasting power is a joke, the scent is too strong, the coverage isn't enough, and the price just isn't worth the quality. It made my skin look awful, and my current foundation works perfectly fine. It was nice to try something new, but all in all Magic Nude Liquid Powder is definitely not magical.

Please watch my video review to see how I applied it and what it looked like on my skin. I tried to use this foundation in multiple ways, fingers, sponges, and brushes, but none of them worked for me. I really didn't want to post a picture on here, because the results were just awful, haha!

Have you tried this foundation yet?

L'Oreal Limited Edition Spring 2013 Colour Riche Balms

L'oreal recently launched the Versailles Romance Collection for Spring 2013! The collection features new, limited edition pastel Coulour Riche Balms and nail polishes. I was so excited when I first saw the photos of the collection on Nouveau Cheap. I already knew that I had to try at least a few of the Colour Riche Balms, since the pastel shades looked so pretty in the packaging. Unfortunately,  these balms turned out to be quite sheer.

The pretty pastel casings immediately caught my eye!

The blue balm is called Sundays by the Seine and the purple is Legally Regal.

Legally Regal swatched on the bottom and Sundays by the Seine on top

Legally Regal is a cool lilac shade that is sheer. Sundays by the Seine is absolutely clear, but it does have a bit of white shimmer. I found that both formulas were slippery, which made building color difficult. I was unimpressed with the formula, and the shades didn't wow me at all.

Claims: "This tinted lip balm provides a hint of luscious, kissable color, smoothing lips instantly and for a full 8 hours of continuous hydration. Lips are softer and more supple all day long—and keeps conditioning even after it’s been removed."
Pigmentation: I knew that these are balms, and that the colors would be tinted. With that said, I was still shocked that Sundays by the Seine was clear! Legally Regal has ok pigmentation.
Finish/Texture: The finish is shiny, and the texture is slippery- almost like a lipgloss.
Lasting Power: I had maybe an hour at most. These balms slide all over the place.
Scent: These are unscented. (what a plus! I hate the smell of L'oreal lipsticks)
Packaging: The packaging is very pretty. The plastic caps coordinate with the color of the balm, and the lipstick holder is a gold tube. The lipsticks twist up/down easily and are labeled.
Price/Availability: I paid $8.50 for each at Walgreens

Likes:

  • Pretty/functional packaging
  • Unscented
Dislikes:

  • Colors aren't true to packaging
  • Pigmentation is lacking
  • Lips don't feel moisturized at all before/during/after wear
  • Pricey, almost $9 each!
  • Low quality
  • No lasting power
  • Formula feels greasy
Overall:
This was my first time trying the L'oreal Colour Riche Balm line. I felt that these colors were very boring. At the store, the packaging made each lip balm seem like it was going to match color of the lid of the tube. That wasn't the case, as you can see from my swatches. These balms are very sheer, and one of them was completely clear. The claims of 8 hour moisture is honestly ridiculous, because I didn't feel that these moisturized my lips at all! The texture feels more like a lip gloss than a lip balm. I can't believe that these are priced at $7-$9 dollars at drugstores for such low quality. I was really expecting something much better from L'oreal since I'm a fan of their other lip products.

Hopefully the sad pigmentation and formula is just on these new pastel shades. I would like to try some of the original shades, they look much brighter and pigmented. I won't rule out the entire line just yet, but I won't be trying anymore of the pastels!

Have you tried any of the L'oreal Colour Riche Balms?

L'Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation

There aren't many drugstore foundations on the market that claim a souffle-like texture. That's why I was so excited to finally try this foundation! It claims to give a smooth, poreless appearance. Unfortunately, this did not happen for me.

I usually shy away from jar foundations, because I really hate how bulky they are. As you can see, about half of the jar is extra packaging. The lid twists off, revealing the foundation.

This is the lightest shade that they offer. It was hard for me to tell at the store if it would match or not, but as soon as I opened it, I knew it wouldn't. It looks like an orange marshmallow in the jar!

Ingredients:

This foundation felt like marshmallow fluff. It had an amazing texture, but the color was just way too warm for me. It's quite a thick foundation, so it does feel and look like you're wearing makeup. It makes the skin look dull in my opinion. Not what I'm looking for in a foundation.

Likes:
  • feels soft and smooth to the touch
Dislikes:
  • not enough shades
  • all of the shades look warm toned
  • changed texture when blended out/doesn't blend well
  • bulky packaging
  • messy application
  • makes skin look dull
  • feels heavy/looks cakey with powder
  • poor value (I paid $16.50 at CVS, ridiculous!)
  • doesn't cover redness well
Overall:
This foundation didn't work for me at all. I feel like the shade selection is a joke, everything is like a beige color. There were no cool toned shades at all, and no dark shades either! That's one of my biggest annoyances when it comes to foundation. The texture felt nice, but it didn't blend out properly, and changed to a clumpy texture. It was really heavy looking, and also made my skin look flat, lifeless, and orange. It was an all-around horrible foundation for me. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody, ever!

L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream

Everyone has been coming out with BB creams lately! I'm excited that the drugstore brands are finally creating affordable versions for everyone. If you're like me, you probably had no idea what BB creams even were. After all the hype, I just had to try one.

What does "BB" Mean?
The "BB" in  stands for "Blemish Balm", but I've also heard people say "Beauty Balm".

What does it do?
BB cream is a multi-purpose skincare product. There are countless brands to choose from, and they all claim to do different tasks. For example, some claim to act as a foundation, concealer, primer, moisturizer, and sunblock all at once!

After seeing that the Garnier and Maybelline versions were way to dark for my skin tone, I decided to try the L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream!

I really like the packaging on this. The squeeze tube allows you to easily control how much product you use. I didn't like, however, that it's not sealed at all in the store!

This nozzle is great because it helps you get the perfect amount that you want out of the tube. Plus, It's more sanitary for than the average bottle or jar. especially if you are not using this for personal use.

Claims:

4 Beautifying Actions in 1:
  • Primes to smooth skin's texture
  • Perfects to hide imperfections
  • Hydrates for all day moisture
  • Corrects skin for a healthy looking even complexion.
Instantly transforms to your perfect shade for a flawless bare skin finish. Over time, more beautiful skin.

Ingredients:
Aqua/Water/eau, ISODOECANE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, GLYCERIN, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE, METHYL METHACRYLATE CROSS-POLYMER, BUYTLENE GLYCOL, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, DIMETHICONE, ISEICOSANE, BORON NITRIDE, CEYTAL PEG/PPG-10/1 DIMETHICOME, SODIUM CHLORIDE, POLYGLYGERYL-4 ISISTERATE, HEXYL LAURATE, ISOSTERYL NEOPENTANOATE, CAPYRYLYLGLYCOL, ACRYLATES/AMMONIUM METHACRYLATE COPOLYMER, TRIETHYL CITRATE, METHYLPARABEN, DIAZOLIDNYL UREA, ETHYL PARABEN, C9-15 FLUROLALCHOHOL, PHOSPHATE, TOCOPHEROL, PANTHENOL, MAY CONTAIN: C1 77891/ TITANIUM DIOXIDE, C1 77491, C1 77492, C1 77499/ IRON OXIDES, MICA

*There are parabens, phosphates, and dimethicones in this product

"Discover our first Magic BB Cream with Beautifying Beads: encapsulated pigments infused in an ultra-light lotion with antioxidants Vitamin C and E"

This is my skin before applying the BB Cream. I have lots of freckles :)

This is after applying the BB cream. I feel like there isn't a huge difference. It doesn't impress me at all. Plus, I couldn't even use it on my entire face! It stung my eye area like crazy, and I need coverage in that area, so this would never work for me. (The product itself doesn't state to keep it out of the eyes, but I would if you're sensitive like me).

See those little balls in the cream? That's what L'Oreal is calling "beautifying beads". They're supposed to adapt to your skin tone once you rub the cream in.

Texture:
I absolutely hate the feeling of this. It feels like rubbing sand on your face, and it's difficult to get each bead to blend in all the way. The best way to describe it is like you're using a facial scrub. I just don't like the grainy texture at all. The cream feels more like a runny lotion.  It's very unpleasant to me.

Likes:
  • packaging-the squeeze tube/ nozzle is great
  • $8 for a full ounce of product
Dislikes:
  • doesn't give moisture
  • doesn't create a "flawless bare skin finish or  a "healthy looking, even complexion"
  • doesn't "smooth skins texture"
  • doesn't "hide imperfections"
  • made my skin feel dry
  • wasn't my shade
  • had a gross, grainy texture and the cream itself was runny
  • only 4 shades are available, and fair is the lightest one
Overall:
I wouldn't ever repurchase this. It feels like I'm leaving on my apricot scrub, and it isn't even the right shade. It failed to give me any sort of coverage, moisture, smoothness, or an even complexion. The claims are just ridiculous. This was an all around disappointment.
