A very long break on blogging...

I've been missing my blogger friends from all over the world.

This is my first post after hibernation for about a year.

Actually I was OK during the break time, a bit busy although the pandemic period.

Now, we are in Ramadhan period. 

We used to prepare everything, not only about praying, fasting, sharing, and many other religious activities, but we are also preparing about food and home. 

We purchased two orchids from Phalaneopsis family.

Two mini versions.

I like the polka dot pattern on the petal.

The other one, have white petal with pinkish splash.

So lovely...

Orchid, especially Phalaneopsis family usually have long period on blooming.

So... I can enjoy the beautiful flowers in our living room  a bit longer.

AN AROMATIC MORNING WITH WHITE DOVE ORCHID

 

BLOOMING TIME

The beginning of the rainy season is the great time for blooming, especially  our natural species orchids.

Warm weather with a bit high humidity will promote orchid plants or popping the spikes.

This is our Eria  hyacinthoides, get blooming although only  for several days.

So lovely...

FINDING DOUBLE SPIKES PHAIUS

Inspecting our tiny garden in the afternoon after the rain showering our neigbourhood. Finding this beautiful thing among the Sauropus macranthus leaves. 

Two spikes of Phaius thankerville  popping up and make me so happy!

This is my second Phaius in our garden.  It's grown on the  pot, but the first one is grown on the raised bed.

I'm not sure about the flower, the flower is identically same with the first one or not. I can't wait to see the blooms.

THE APHYLLUM IS PEEKING

Get a lovely surprise this morning...

A beautiful thing is peeking behind the Adiantum leaves.

yeay... My neglected Dendrobium aphyllum is blooming.

This orchid grow naturally on the brick wall in our tiny back yard.

Rain makes all fresh and new life is begun.

THE CANANGA ORCHID IS BLOOMING

This is my Eria javanica or Cananga orchid. 

A natural species of orchid with great scent like as Cananga flower (Cananga odorata)

 

OUR ORCHID IN THE BALCONY

This is our east balcony this week...

There are two orchids blooming. 

The plants looks overloaded by the spikes.

There's a new fresh shoot and also a spike.

I have no idea, what kind of color is it.
