SAD ENDING STORY ....AGAIN

February 2... was a sad morning for us.

Our lovely fruit tree was collapsed.

After rain with the wind a long the night, we found our garden a bit mess.

But... we have never thought if our Ceremai tree (Phyllantus acidus) would fallen on to the ground.

This tree was about seven years old, the height was about six meters.
Grew on a 'tiny' pot ... of course... actually I should moved it on to bigger pot several years ago.

Look... the root have already came out from the pot and got in to the ground.

Some fruits still hanging on the branches.

Then we cut down this tree.

And let the base...

We will move it in to bigger pot soon...

The space looked a bit brighter.

We are lucky, we ... found some babies...

some new self grown trees have already for the 'next generation'.
Hoping they will grow well and being productive.

TASTED THE ACEROLA FOR THE SECOND TIMES

Looks nothing special with our little acerola tree.

Our Acerola or barbados cherry (Malpighia emarginata) have been growing here in our tiny garden since 2011.
We grow it on a pot.

At the first, we put it on the back yard.
Then we moved it, in to the southern balcony to get more sun shine.
Such a shame, the growth was not good enough.
This little tree blooming almost all year long since the second year, but we only find two fruits two years ago. We can check here
After the front fence reconstruction on January last year, we moved the pot in to the front yard.
Such a shame, this plant got more shade here, so... we had no hope to find the fruits.
We found lots of flowers, but all fallen. Sometimes we found the tiny fruits have fallen too.
Right now... our tiny garden get more sunshine after our neighbor cut down several big trees near our home garden.

A big surprise that this week we found a great thing.

Two red Acerola were hanging on the tree.

Sorry... I couldn't take  any good shots.

Too high...

Now... we got two fruits

So we can taste the sweet sour pulp.

So juicy...
so fresh...

Thanks GOD...

A PROMISING BLOOMS

 It's really a surprise...

I've been growing this Jambu Air or watery rose apple or wax guava (Syzygium aqueum) for more than 5 years. A very long time. I'm not sure when I planted it. This one is really neglected on the pot. It have moved for several time, and the last time I put it next to the porch, to get more  sunshine. Actually this little tree is sharing pot with self-grown Sauropus macranthus. Right now both of the plants are growing so lush on the same pot, after I add more compost and fertilizer for several times.

I'm so happy that  my wax guava is finally blooming or the first time. It should be blooming earlier if this plant get a good care. But I'm a really lazy gardener. I'm so sorry about that.

I hope all the blooms become a healthy fruits soon.

I can't wait to taste the ripe fruits.

Beautiful flowers...

fallen petals after rain...

Thanks GOD

PICKING PUMPKIN FRUITS

This pumpkin fruit tree (Sauropus macranthus)  looks so lovely.  This little tree is growing so lush on a pot in our tiny front yard.

Showing us lots of fruits. They all ready to be picked almost every day.

The flesh is almost similar to wax guava, sweet and a bit juicy.

Thanks GOD

WAITING FOR RIPE SRIKAYA

This is our Srikaya today. Srikaya or sugar Apple (Annona squamosa) is of our favorite fruit. Sweet tender flesh is really yummy.

There are some fruits hanging on the little tree on the corner of our tiny front yard. I guess this big one will ripe next week, but I'm not sure.

However we love it, harvesting our own fruits. Thanks God...
