AN AMATEUR ADVENTURE

On Friday, me and my friend visited a landslide location on the high land in a farmland.

Yes, this was a smallholders-farmland.

They mostly grow potato here.

Did observation and reporting.

Actually the landslide was happened last year in October.

A mini adventure...
Walking through the bushes in the rain.

Hiking the slippery path.

Climbing the rocky cliff.
Adrenaline pumped...

'The ruin' of the cliff have already 'recovered' naturally.
Some of wild plants grow naturally.

This place has beautiful scenery.

We can find so many hot spring water, and also hot creek too.
Look the steam from the creek...

Although the usual temperature here is so cool, but we can warming up our body using natural hot water.

Enjoy the work and sight...
Beautiful scenery ...

LITTLE HOUSE IN THE RICE FIELD (JULY 2016)

Last week we had a vacation, so we had time to visit our big family and also relatives.
You might be still remember with a little house in the rice field.
Yes... that's  our granny's house.
What a shame, I forgot to take any pictures of it.
You can see the green scenery of this place last year here.
y

The rice field looked green.
Some of the field was  after the harvesting time.

And the other was on seedling stage...

On the other part we can find the corn fields on so many stage of growth.
Multiple cropping was applied here.

We can find so many annual plants such as chilli pepper, caladium, colocasia, corn and cassava.
Some perennial plant that grown here were banana, a kind of mango and jackfruit.

Corn was the main crop here at this time.
Walk a long the path way through the corn field.

The little pond in front of the farmhouse was still clear and fresh with the spring water.
But the pond became narrower, the edge of the pond was full of sediment.
And the weed and the other wild plants were growing so lush here.

We still found a row of roses in front of her garden.
Some roses were in blooming.

Thanks GOD for the green sight.

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE RICE FIELD

Last week we visited our granny on the village.
A little house on the rice field.
yea... our Granny lives alone here for several years after her husband passed away.
We can see about this place last year here.

This was her little house...

Her house was surrounded by 'sawah' or rice field.
We can find so many stage of rice plant here.
The picture above was about two weeks after planting.

A stream lays along side by side with a path way on the way to her house.

This natural stream has a very clear water.
So lovely...

On the edge of the path way, we can find so many edible plants, such as corn, cassava and edible alocasia.

The green rice plants like as a green carpet.

These edible weeds were blooming on her garden.

Cassava patch on the corner of her garden.

A beautiful pond in front of her house which a clear spring water on it.
Lots of fishes were playing here and there.

A patch of edible root plants.
There were a kind of colocasia and cassava as source of carbohydrate.
And the foliage could be as source of greens.

A flowering hedge...
A row of sleepy hibiscus (Malvaviscus arboreus) look so beautiful with abundant flowers.
We would love to suck the 'honey'.

Kenci (water cress), kangkung air (water spinach), padi (rice) and alocasia, grow naturally on the little spring near her house.
Cool weather, so nice...
So natural...
So peaceful...
We love it!
