Many people weren't aware of this special marking that Enesco put on some of their Rankin/Bass Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ornaments in 1999. They gave me a complete set, after visiting their gallery. They also gave me a prototype set of the first series of figurines, that is missing the printing on the bottom of the figures. I stepped in to give direction and design some of the next series. #Rankinbass #enesco #santascastlemarking #Rudolphtherednosedreindeer

Here's one case of my Rankin/Bass figurines. When I started working with Enesco Corp. In 1999, they would send me giant boxes of figurines! I gave out many as gifts...many of the early figurines I have are prototypes. That is Raven Hood's Sam on the bottom, the first version of Sam we ever had. I painted one for Arthur and Jules and gave one to Dorothy Ives. ⛄ Looking at this photo, I just noticed one of the signed cards Jules and Arthur gave me, and Jules wrote to our biggest fan! 😅 much of my collection is at the Orland Park Public library and has traveled around the world at museums. #Rankinbassproductions #Christmas
