We have been selling many of these lately!

I think it is because it covers all of the productions including Silverhawks, Tigersharks, etc.   We added over 200 more pages of color than the original edition released in 1997 and Wes even changed black and white images to color on pages, where it was possible.   Some bought the 15th Anniversary edition (where we added 100 additional pages) and ask if there will be a 25th Anniversary edition, the answer is no.   I am very happy with this 20th Anniversary edition and the response to it is always very positive.   The printer just changed to paper for this edition to a newer slicker paper too.   Even though www.miserbros.com says softcover, you get a hardcover.   We decided not to do the softcover after all.

Masaki Iizuka remembered

This was a photo I took at the Museum of Broadcast in New York 2003 at the evening with Arthur Rankin, Jr..  I sat with Masaki.
This is my favorite picture I took of him!  We were on our way back to Arthur's place after passing Tiffany's.

Masaki talked about how all of the Animagic animators felt they never quite lived up to the legend of Tad Mochinaga and what he did with Rankin/Bass' Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  While the technique on the Rankin/Bass specials progressed, they always looked at that special as the best!

WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO

My Presentation/Panel discussion at WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO, The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass Productions, will be on Sunday August 27th at 2:30 pm until about 3:15pm. Looking forward to it! I will have a corner booth at C-19, with more room than I am used to, so I can bring loads of stuff for sale! I will be appearing there all four days...
