The gorgeous Anita is hosting a blog party in PARIS this weekend...

I've not been to Paris but I do have a few heaps of things with Paris and/or the Eiffel Tower on them and thought I too would join the party (how could I not!!!)...
First of all I couldn't resist a fabric panel with the Tower on it...and Bonjour...

and used a couple of weeks ago as a table topper when Barb from Theodora Cleave called in for a cuppa before she left town...

We used Eiffel Tower serviettes!!!

I recently had a birthday and received this brooch on a little velevet cushion from Margaret...

Cuppitt's Winery...with a touch of France!!!

A couple of weeks ago JoJo went out with her Peer Support group for a good part of a Saturday...
so we thought we'd visit a Winery not too far away from us for lunch...
The Winery being Cuppitt's ...
here is a view through the sweetest little window from the old Creamery now Tasting Room...
But first things first...breakfast...
Here is Mr Armchair's (a new name for Hubby given to him by Fer, thanks Jen...I love it)

And a nice hearty brekky for me too!!!

Upon arrival at the Winery we happened upon Ben (one of Chefs there) in the vegie patch...

to the right of the vegie patch follow the path and turn right for the Old Creamery which is now a Tasting Room...

turn left for this setting...

across from the Tasting Room...

through this door for the tasting...

continuing down and turning left is the Restaurant with a lake in front...

view towards the right...
see how the vines are grown acrossways...something which is also often done in France, as we were told...
The country side at the moment is just so green and luscious...

Rosie Cupitt, the winemaker, has studied at Charles Sturt University and has more than a decade of vintage experience including vintages in France and liasons with Italian winemakers to further her wine knowledge. Her philosophy with the wines is to make wines that go well with food and to let the grapes dictate the final wine style with each variety.

Unfortunately all booked out for lunch...but we were made very welcome by the staff there...
There are 3 French Waiters here and one of them offered to take a photo of us here...

Menu for Dessert...

View from inside the Restaurant...

Outside scenes...

We were shown the grapes and some equipment outside by our Host...

And of course we had to have a taste...
seeing we couldn't get in for lunch this time we took some bottles back home with us...
and vowed to return again when we can get some respite care for JoJo!!!
It was a great day...beautiful views...great menu...and very helpful staff...
and we'll be back soon!!!

Hello, my name is Dzintra Ingrid ... have been known as Ingrid and since our Sea Change I have started to use Dzintra ... pronounced without the D ... (but still known as Ingrid, I know, it's confusing ...)

Welcome to my world ... a journal of our Sea Change ... Mum to three wonderful children ... bringing up a daughter with a disability and seeing life through her eyes ... being a new Nanna ... photos ... inspiring quotes ... taking on a cookery course ... the odd recipe ... and trying to get some stitching done amongst all this ...
