Love twin set of cards - Patricia Basson

Good Day dear Blog friends...

Due to health reasons I have been absent for a while...But today I want to share with you these two cards I made for Dusty Attic using paper from 49 & Market.

I did some Hand stitching on the top of the four layers. I also used a few 49 & Market Rub-on leaves. I made some splatters with diluted gel medium and embossed it with Speckled Egg Distress Embossing Glaze.

I painted the Dreamcatcher Designer Discs and the Branch and Berries with Cappuccino Paint from Stamperia and embossed them with Vintage Beeswax Baked Texture from Emerald Creek.

The Decorative Panel and Wrought Iron Fence were embossed with Chunky Rust Baked Texture and Steel Embossing Powder from Ranger.

Some flowers and Old Fashion Ribbons and two sentiments are the final touches to my cards...

I do hope you have enjoyed this short post and feel inspired to get creative with some of the gorgeous chipboard designs from the Dusty Attic On-line Shop...

Time is too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice,
but for those who love,
 time is eternity.

Natural Beauty - Rikki G - Mood Board Inspiration

Good Morning how are you  all? I am here to kick off the latest moodboard for Dusty Attic and I must say its lovely to to get some scrapping in with the silly season kicking off.

My hope is once school holidays start I can spend the month of January just creating, it might be time to get a creative goal... like a sketch a day = a layout a day. What do you think? Anyone want to join me?

Well here is this months stunning moodboard....

I spent the time focusing on the orange red selection and the leaves got to love some leaves right?

Cut up the decorative panel so you can get a couple of layouts out of the peice theres nothing better than getting value out of your chipboard.

Split a large title on either side of the layout.

Live your best life - Rikki G - Mood Board Inspiration

Good morning, hope you are all keeping well.

Its that time of the year when things start to get hetic, at least at this house they do, Christmas is very close and that means decorations, lights soooooooooooooooo many lights and being our first Christmas in our forever house theres more work figuring things out.

But while that happens at least I am finding a little time to get creative and I tell you the Dusty Attic Moodboards are a great way to get inspiration in this feastive season.

How are you all going?

With the Decorative Panel , I cut either ends off and then split it down the middle its allows you to use it up to 4 times.

The Word disks are a perfect little subtitle.....

How cute are the Small Daisies, love how you can add movement to your layout.

I hope you get some creative time over this crazy season, if you do you can enter into this months moodboard, you still have time.

Live you Best life

Family matters - Patricia Basson

Another Family photo done with Blue Fern Papers from the Deja Vu and Courtship Lane collections for my Dusty Attic Design Team project. Yellow and Purple are not my go-to colours, but I 'rescued' these papers from my de-stashing pile recently.

I used leftover pieces from the Arch Window set on the top and bottom of my layers and the cut apart Decorative Panel on the sides. Both these designs were embossed using Shabby Green Embossing Enamel from Stampendous.
I painted the Iron Accents with Iris Acrylic paint from Cadence.

I painted the Title, Mini Tab and Mini foliage with Leaf Green and Antique White paint from DecoArt. I also embossed with clear embossing powder.
As decoration I used some Prills and Chunky Glitter.

I used the following from the Dusty Attic On-line store...

The ground we walk on,
 the plants and creatures,
the clouds above constantly dissolving into new formations
each gift of nature possessing its own radiant energy,
bound together by cosmic harmony.
