"It's the little memories that will last a lifetime"
Hi everybody! Helena here today to share some Dusty Attic inspiration with you. I have scrapped a pic of my little girl. Just one of those pics you take with your phone, an everyday pic but you will always treasure it. Nothing special about it really, but still it is a beautiful memory just because it is a moment captured. She is so beautiful, inside and out <3

I have played with some amazing new chippies: the Ornate Frame and Corner Swirls - love these!! So delicate and beautiful!

I have painted the chippies white, and then inked them with gray and brown ink. I finally coated them with Clear Crackle Varnish.

I adore the Quoted Sentiments (used them on cards last time, but they are perfect for layout titles too!)

Helena Johansson - New frames

Hi there! I recently got a gorgeous DT-pack from the boss ~ Jennifer ~ and I just fell in love with all the beautiful new whimsy frames she has designed. They are fantastic! And, perfect for both layouts and cards. I decided to make a few cards, and used quoted sentiments on a couple of them.

Here are all three cards:

This card was made after this months gorgeous moodboard. Love the bold colors (so not me, but I think I pulled it of?!). I painted the whimsy frames with Dusty in Color, Soot.

I used some black for this next card too, but also kept one frame and the sentiment raw. Added some brand new Dusty Attic bling too! And yes, you can spot some Dusty in Blooms, Evening Blush, there too.

The last card is more romantic, with lots of layers, doilies and soft colors. I kept all chippies raw, and finished this one off with some Dusty Attic pearls. Perfect!

Picture Perfect - Helena

Hello there! Helena here today to share some Dusty Attic inspiration with you! I have a layout in teal, grey and silver to show you today, with lots of gorgeous chippies and details.

The photo is of my darling son :) - found the perfect title for a perfect boy!

Lots of layers, as usual! This time I also used some of Dusty Attics layered chipboard. They are amazing! You can do so much with these - use them seperately, paint them in the same color or different colors. Love the possibilities!

Dusty Attic chipboard used:

Elegant Chain (used both layers)

Federation Frame Set (used one of the larger swirls in the middle).

Layered accents (used the bottom pieces)

"Picture Perfect" from Mini Caption #1

The Elegant Chain was first painted with white gesso, then embossed with grey and silver embossing powder. Finally I misted the top piece with dark grey mist. The swirl from the Federation Frame set was treated almost the same way, except I misted with dark teal mist. This gives a marble effect that I just love!

For the layered accent pieces I used Dusty Attic rusting powder. This stuff is amazing!

And now close-ups:

Live Today - Helena Johansson - Mood Board Inspiration

This months moodboard is amazing! I love the beachy colors and photos! Perfect for a summer photo of my ds :)

Here's the moodboard - don't you just need to go on a vacation now?? :)

Dusty Attic products used for this project:

I kept the title "Live Today" chippie raw, to go with the colors of the moodboard.

Creative Script stencil, used with Dusty Attic Texture Paste.

I used three of the scrolls from the Federation Frame Set. I painted them white and then used turqouise mist with a small brush to paint them a bit. I did the same with the Scroll Border that you see below:

I kept the stars #3 raw. These stars are one of my favs - they go with just about any project!

And now for some close-ups!

Thank you for stopping by today!
