You are Art - Pascale B Scrap

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic's blog with a new mixed-media panel featuring a photo from @ArtHouseWhimsy from the A kind of Christmas set.

I primed the canvas board with white gesso before adding a design using paper paste. I also added some paper paste to the edges. When dry, I covered the design with clear crackle paste. The result is a barely visible and subtle design that reminds the wing.

I painted the background with Deep Turquoise and Prussian Blue liquid acrylic paints.

I primed all the chipboards with white gesso and decided to emboss the Geo Panel with grunge embossing powder.

I painted the Flower Posie #4, the Poppy Heads, and the Flower Buds #1 with nude and magenta liquid acrylic.

For the Tea Leaves and the branches of the previous, I added some black to the nude-magenta mix to obtain a brown. I used this brown to add some shadow to the background.

To finish, I added some pink and turquoise glitter.

Shield - Mixed Media Canvas panel - Pascale B Scrap

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic's blog with a new mixed-media canvas.

First, I covered the whole canvas with book pages with a gloss gel. Next, I added a design with the Geo Texture stencil and 3D Gloss Gel. When dry, I added a thin layer of white gesso. I kept it very light as I wanted to see the text and remove the gesso from the design with a baby wipe. I painted the background with black, Prussian blue, and umber liquid acrylic paints.

I primed all the chipboards with white gesso. I chose the biggest Moon and colored it with liquid acrylic to match the shield of the photo.

I used different shades of brown paints to color the Wildgrass #1, the Foliage #3 and #25, and the Fern Fronds.

I added a design to the Boho Skull with white heavy gesso and the Fossilised stencil. I painted the horns with black and burnt sienna paint and the skull with the same color with a hint of orange, but I diluted the colors with water.

For the Feather Charm #4, I used brown, black, orange, and carmin paints.

To finish, I added some glitter.

Embrace - Mixed Media canvas - Pascale B Scrap

Hello Sweeties,

Today, I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a mixed-media canvas.

First, I primed the canvas with white gesso. When done, I covered the background with paper and light modeling pastes to add more interest. Then I added a design with the Dots Stencil and white crackle paste. I let it dry naturally to allow the crackles to appear.

I primed all the chipboard with white gesso. I glued a piece of paper on the Jigsaw Pieces, then covered them with clear crackle paste.

I built my composition to my linking starting with the Jigsaw pieces, then I add the biggest elements such as the Flower Buds #1 and the Spring Blooms #3.

Next, I added the Dandelions and I finished with the Poppy Heads.

When everything was completely dry, I added some color with black and brown liquid acrylic paints and a lot of water.

To finish, I added some transparent glitter and a title.

Gnomes Garden Tag - Pascale B Scrap

Hello Sweeties,

Today I'm up on Dusty Attic blog with a tag.

I selected a medium size tag from the Tag Medley set. I've primed the tag with white gesso before adding some designs to the background. I used the River Stone stencil with the Graphite paste to add the first design like a small path. Then, I added the second design with the Flourish stencil and light modeling paste. When dry, I painted the background with black and brown for the path, and green for the forest background.
I primed all the chipboards I've selected with white gesso as well. Then, I painted them with different acrylic paints.

The Gnome was painted with carmin, brown and black paint. I used brown and black paints to color the small Fairy Door #1 and black and white for the stone.

For the Grass Cluster #1, I used green and purple. I added a touch of Unicorn paste to add some fun.

I paint the head of the Toadstool Border with carmin and the grass with green paints.

When everything was to my taste, I glued everything together.

My favourite colour is Rainbow - Heather Woodall

 Good morning

I had so much fun creating these projects. I had paint everywhere!!

I started with the DA3621 Circular Picture Pie - Circular picture pie – Dusty Attic – Australian owned and operated Laser Cutting business as my design idea, both as a template and as a chipboard piece.

I have used it as a template only on a art journal page, and then as a template then a chipboard piece on a scrapbook page.

The base of both the journal page and the scrapbook page I have used 3 soft colours and a large paint brush to softly add to the page. I have then used 3 different stencils and the same colour paints to stencil over the top.

I have then used the Circular Picture Pie Chipboard as a template to trace around on both the journal page and scrapbook page to create a colour wheel base.

I have then chosen my paint colours and applied to create the colour wheel.

Over the top of both I have used a more pastel version of each colour and the DA3601 Paintbrush Stencil - Paintbrush Stencil – Dusty Attic – Australian owned and operated Laser Cutting business

To finish off the Art Journal Page I used a large black Posca Pen to write the title and highlighted with a white gel pen.

To finish of the scrapbook page I attached the Circular Picture Pie Chipboard using clear drying glue. I then used Posca pens to paint the "My Favourite Colour is Rainbow" title as well as the rainbow and clouds. These were all then attached using clear drying glue.

Thank you

Heather
