If you came from Alex's blog at http://californiastampin.blogspot.com/ then you're at the right place on the hop! Opppss if you didn't you may want to hop back to SNR Card Universe and start at the beggining. We wouldn't want you to miss a single solitary thing!

Well here's my 4th of July celebration project. I'm so excited to share this with you. The stamps and DP (digi) that I used all come from shirleys2girls. These images and papers are brand spankin' new and aren't they just the cutest and so so festive!

I used two different images. The card has Independence Gracie and my cute little sparkler box uses Family Fun. All the DP papers are from shirleys2girls and they are digi's. WOW I must say that I was so hestitate to try digi paper but I really really love it! If you haven't tried it you should give it a go! All of the solid card stock is Stampin' Up! and I used Brillant Blue, Real Red and Summer Sun. The white card stock is neenah classic solar white. Since I use copics for my coloring I find that this is the best paper to use with little bleeding and great color saturation. Little Miss Gracie's dress is paper pieced using the digi DP from shirleys2girls. I added some Stampin' Up grosgrain ribbon and some sparklie (not sure that is a word but I like) star rhinestones to give it some shine!

The adorable sparkler box came from Lisa Somerville's Blog. Her original box template is made to hold test tubes filled with candy so instead of making the circle holes at the top, I measured my sparkler box and cut to fit! I was really excited on how easy it was to assemble!

My last item are the firecrackers...they were made with lifesaver rolls covered with DP and 4th of July garland put throught the top! These make great centerpieces for your table and could be used for any holiday! I love it when we find something that is so flexible, don't you?!

I hope that you enjoyed viewing my projects and if you're interested in any other deets, please shoot me an email and I'll be happy to share.
