Music for you
I am thrilled to have been asked to be a guest designer for the latest challenge at Scrapping4fun the theme of which is anything goes together with music notes/instrument.
I was supplied with the musical notes which was found on the free pages of google to which I added the stamped image 'A little note' from Crafter's Companion S.W.A.L.K. collection which I coloured using Promarkers. I matted the design onto blue core'dinations cardstock and then white card. Finally I added some peel off words under the musical notes.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Note for the teacher
My daughter is leaving school and thus shall no longer take flute lessons with her current teacher, so she asked me if I could make a thank you card for her. I had not got a stamp of any flute player but I did have this one of a recorder player. The stamp called 'A little note' is from the S.W.A.L.K. collection of rubber stamps from Crafter's Companion. I coloured it using Promarkers and used distress inks round the edges. The 'Thank you' is a peel off which I coloured using a black marker pen. Once coloured I matted the image onto black mirri card.
The background music is printed from the La Pashe CD ROM 'Christmas with the wrinklies' and was matted and layered onto gold mirri and brown card. The vertical strip was also from a La Pashe CD ROM and I brushed distress ink over it before matting it onto gold mirri.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations - distressing
I Love Promarkers - girls, girls, girls
Glitter n Sparkle - anything goes
Oldie but a Goodie - schools out (old stamp)
Fantastic Tuesday - anything goes
Vintage Stamping - face the music and dance
Make My Monday - end of term

All dotty!
I have quite a few odd scraps of spotty paper (who can throw anything away? ) and this card was made to use some of those scraps.
The background was formed by orange and pink spotty paper layered onto fuchsia centura pearl. A strip of smaller pink spotty paper was also backed by the fuchsia centura pearl and attached horizontally to the card.
The stamped image 'daydream believer' from Crafter's Companion S.w.a.l.k. collection was coloured with Promarkers and also backed with fuchsia. The image was stamped again onto yet more spotty paper and the girls hair ribbons and clothes were cut out and fixed to the coloured image.
The sunflower 'garden' was made by stamping onto even more (!!) spotty paper and cutting out and assembling seven separate images. Card candi was used for the flower centres.
The card was completed with a label bearing the message 'with love' attached by ribbon.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafting Musketeers - sketch
Creative Corner - polka dots
Whoopsi Daisy - paper piecing
Dream Valley - summer days
Penny Black and More - in the garden

Here's a card for a girl who likes gardening.
The trellis was made using Spellbinders basic lattice die and garden twine was woven in and out to form the rose stems. Better to do this before fixing to card. I was not thinking and stuck the trellis down first - most awkward and not to be recommended!! I then attached quilled roses and leaves.
The snail and wording are from Joanna Sheen's "Violet" meadow flowers set of stamps and the girl is from the S.W.A.L.K. "Old Friend" set by Crafter's Companion. Promarker pens were used in the colouring. I used Glossy accents to simulate the water from the can. Finally I added butterflies cut from shimmering paper and mounted onto card.
