Santa selfie

 

   I have used bits and pieces for this card. The background is printed from one of Tattered Lace's downloads and was left over from batch printing, the sentiment is left over from a House Mouse decoupage sheet and the digi is from The Paper Shelter. It is called 'Santa selfie' and after colouring it using Promarkers I fuss cut it.

The beautiful Skier

 

   The theme for this month's challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids is happy holidays.

I have chosen a skiing holiday and used the digi called 'The beautiful skier' from The Paper Shelter and I coloured it using Promarkers. The partial snowflakes around the edge were cut from silver mirri using a Tattered Lace die. The sentiment was cut using a carnations Craft die.

Funny sunflower

  

   A quick thank you card made using the digi called 'Funny sunflower' from The Paper Shelter and coloured using Promarkers. The backing paper was printed from a CD ROM many years ago and this left over piece as been lying in my stash.

    I used a Paper Shelter digi called 'A cheerful snowman' for this card and coloured it using Promarkers. The snowflake frame was cut using a Carnation Crafts die from their Christmas time set and the sentiment was cut using dies from their A Christmas eve set.

Celebrate together

 

   Using a Tattered Lace pin dot circle die I created a circular card base from pale blue card.

   The image from The Paper Shelter is called sharing is caring. I coloured it using Promarkers and after fussy cutting it and slightly shaping the characters attached it to gingham mirri card (hence the spotlight in the picture caused by the camera flash!) and matted this onto dark blue card. The sentiment is a  peel off.

Cupcake birthday

   It is the Aud Sentiments challenge 11th birthday so what better than to have a birthday theme for this fortnight's challenge. The sponsor for the challenge is The Paper Shelter and we were given the image 'Cupcake birthday' with which to play.

   I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a tattered Lace pearl square die. The papers used were free with an old magazine and the patterned cupcake was from an old birthday card. I drew round this and made a second cupcake adding a card candi for the 'cherry' and a peel off sentiment to the icing.

So chic

   I am pleased to have been invited to be a guest designer for this fortnights Incy Wincy Designs challenge. The theme for the challenge is steam punk and/or vintage and I was given The Paper Shelter image So Chic with which to play. I coloured it using Promarkers and fussy cut it out

   I distressed the edges of the lace design paper taken from an old Joanna Sheen paper pad and matted it onto pink card. Before matting this onto white card I wrapped lace round the left hand side. I attached a doily to the card and on top of this I placed the digi which I had slightly shaped. The flowers were cut from downloadable vignettes using a Carnation Crafts vintage blooms die set. I then added the lace bow and tucked a sentiment plaque behind the flowers.

Birthday boy

   The March Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has the theme of for the boys.

   I have made an easel card. The backing paper used is from an old We are Memory Keepers paper pad and was matted and layered onto brown co-ordinations cardstock and cream card. The digi image from The Paper Shelter is called casual boy and I coloured it using Promarkers. It also is matted onto brown co-ordinations cardstock. The sentiment used on the easel stopper was cut using a Tattered Lace die. I finished the card by adding three card candies to each of the corners of the base and easel part of the card.

Little fireman

    A fairly simple card for one of my great nephews. The card base and the mats and layers were cut using Tattered Lace notched square dies. The sentiment was cut from the same card stock, alternating the colours using their alphabet dies.

    This is a birthday card I have made for one of my niece's. Z is for zzzz....

    I matted and layered papers from Papermania and light purple card onto white card then added the greeting cut from gold mirri using Tattered Lace's season's greetings washing line die.

   The die image called 'cookies for Santa' is from The Paper Shelter. I coloured most of it using Promarkers, but on the garlands I used a purple glitter gel pen. I added Glossy Accents to the ornaments on the tree and then cut it out leaving a narrow edge of white so that it would stand out from the background.

X is for x shape

    The digi image I have used here is from The Paper Shelter and is called Snow Angle. After colouring it using Promarkers I matted and layered it onto cyan card and white card. The sentiment was cut from white card using a Tattered Lace die. To finish the card I added loose silver glitter to the snow and the sentiment, although it does not show up well in the photo.

Tea time

   The digi image on this card from The Paper Shelter is called It's tea time. I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a Spellbinders label 8 die, but before removing it from the die I dusted the edges using Distress Ink. The top layer of the mats and layers is Core'dinations Cardstock and I sanded this before matting it onto the red and cream card pieces.
   The ivy, also coloured using Promarkers, was cut using a Creations Craft die from their Safari Garden set and I added letters to the leaves to spell out Tea Time.

Scientist

   My grand daughter has found it difficult during lockdown to complete her chemistry A-level experiments so I thought that this digi image from The Paper Shelter called science was appropriate for her birthday card. I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a Tattered Lace pearl rectangle die. As she is quite fond of wearing black I used black and dark grey card for the mats and layers and also added black and grey strips of ribbon and grey pearls.

Camping

   I coloured this digi image from The Paper Shelter called I Love Camping using Promarkers and matted it onto black card. I then matted and layered this onto paper printed using Peerless Designs Woodland Treasures CD ROM and black card. Before matting the whole onto white card I wrapped narrow black glittery ribbon round each of the four corners. The card was finished by adding a bow, black gemstones and a peel off sentiment.
