ABC Challenge 'N is for........Neutral'

Hi all,
Blimey where has the last fortnight gone? It's time for another fab challenge over at ABC and this time our very own lovely Cinzia has chosen 'N is for Neutral' so this time think soft pastels and neutral tones.
Our wonderful sponsor this time is Bugaboo Stamps and I have used their adoreable Theodore Bear.

I coloured this cutie with my trusty Promarkers and Prismas and teamed him with some gorgeous First Edition DP's from the New Leaf collection. The whole card is distressed with Pumice Stone DI, the gorgeous Die Cut is from Memory Box and the lace and flowers are from my stash.

Pretty in Pink

Well a little late but I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year and I hope you all managed to have a little break over the festive period.
Wow finally I feel well enough to get back to my little corner of blogland and share with you a creation using another beautiful Tilda stamp. The papers are from the Love stack by First Edition and are just so gorgeous to use.

ABC Challenge 'U is for..........Underneath'

Morning all sorry I've been awol for the last week but it has been a seriously stressful week, anyway lets hope for a quieter end to the week. Can't believe it's time for another ABC challenge but it is and this week the letter is U is for Underneath so use your imagination. This week we are sponsored by the fabulous Wags 'n' Whiskers.

I have used this gorgeous image from Sarah Kay 'Josephine with her pet cat Kiki', coloured with Promarkers and teamed with the stunning papers from First Edition 'Love Letters'. I used a gem brad to create the swivel panel which hides the hidden sentiment (underneath) which is from Hero Arts. Not sure what happened to my camera but the colours look really flat so must investigate.

Magical Mondays 'Monochromatic' (Not just Black and White)

Morning all,
Well I snuck off yesterday and did my very first craft show for Sincerely Yours in Thetford, Norfolk. Wow I am sooo tired this morning and I ache all over from lugging boxes of stamps and paper pads around from 5.30 in the morning until I finally collapsed back on my lovely sofa at 8'o'clock last night. However, it was lovely to meet so many wonderful ladies who also share my love of all things crafty and I can't wait to meet up with you all again in May at the Lincoln Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show.
Anyway, It's time for another fab challenge over at Magical Mondays and it was my turn to pick the theme so I opted for 'Monochromatic' but don't panic all you colour lovers it is not just black and white it just means various tones of one colour. This week we are being sponsored by The Crafty Purple Frog who have kindly donated some decoupage sheets for the winner.
I know I have only just posted a card using this image but I adore this little cutie so had to use her again and as you can see I chose Pink as my colour. I kept it very simple for me as I wanted to show her off.

Magical Mondays 'Swirls and Pearls'

Morning all,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I spent a great day with family and was spoilt rotten by my beautiful furry boy 'Dexter' who sent hubby to buy me flowers, choccies and the fab new Hairy Bikers cook book!
Oh I absolutely love this little cutie from Stampavie 'Baby Fairy Flora' designed by Mo Manning isn't she just adoreable? Once again I have used the new DP's from the Dessert Blooms collection by First Edition, the glitter on them is stunning.
Anyway it's time for another great challenge over at Magical Mondays and this time the theme is 'Pearls and Swirls' chosen by the lovely Marion. Jayne has kindly donated a set of LOTV dreamy circular sentiments stamps like the one I have used, so make sure you give it a go.

Skin: Blush, Soft Peach

Hair: Buttercup, Tulip Yellow, Sunflower

Dress: Saffron, Apricot

Flower: Dusky Rose, Cerise, Pear Green

Grass and shading added with Prisma pencils

The wings are smothered with Stardust Stickles, the WOC flowers are spritzed with Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist and everything is distressed with Frayed Burlap DI.

Find the Artist in You! and Papercraft Show News!!!

Yeah I survived my stocktake for another year woohoo!!

I just can't stop colouring these great images from Simply Sassy they are so much fun. Also have you seen these gorgeous papers from First Edition, they have all just come into stock in my shop and I love them all. I have used papers from the 'Dessert Blooms' collection and already have more creations on the go using more of their fab designs.
