Time for Something a Little Different 'Clean and Simple'

Hi folks,
Well here's something a little bit different from me. I have to say that I find it really hard to refrain from using lots of scrummy papers and flowers etc so clean and simple is not really part of my vocabulary, but here goes:

I have to say that once I started I kinda got carried away!

The gorgeous poppy stamp is from Hero Arts and as always is coloured with Promarkers. The beautiful embossing folder is courtesy of Marianne D.
Well hope you like it and happy crafting!

I am entering these into the following challenges:
Paper Sundaes - #106 'Clean and Simple'
Less Is More - #53 'Aqua'

Sweet Tilda in Black and White

Good evening peeps!
Wow can you believe it 2 posts in 2 days. The reason being I should have been preparing for a workshop today but instead just got carried away playing with scrummy stuff in the shop oops! Looks like tomorrow could be a late one for me as the workshop is on Wednesday.

Anyway I just couldn't not enter the challenge over at Magnolia Down Under as I love colouring in Black and White so thats enough justification for me.
Ok so I used the beautiful 'Sweet Tilda' from Magnolia who is still one of my very favourite little cuties. As always I used my trusty Promarkers but this time limited myself to just the Cool Grey collection. The fab sketch came from Just Magnolia and was such a joy to use.
Everything was distressed with Pumice Stone and spritzed with Pearl Glimmer mist and edged with Stardust Stickles.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Magnolia Down Under - #129 'Black and White Image'
Just Magnolia - #139 Sketch
Passion for Promarkers - #131 'Inspired by a Song' (my song is 'Shades of Grey' by The Monkees)
I Love Promarkers - #99 'Cute and Cuddly'
Paper Sundaes - 2 Birthday ' Pick Your Favourite Past Paper Sundaes Challenge' (I have chosen the Magnolia challenge of Coarse!)
Charisma Cardz - #1 'Happy Birthday'

Big Hugs and Happy Crafting!

Hope You Like Green?

Thought I would share with you  the card that I made for my mum's birthday. I fell in love with a card made by the very talented Sue Carrington a few months ago and new my mum would love it so I adapted it and this is what I ended up with.

Each and every panel has been embossed then stamped with Peeled Paint DI and then distressed with Shabby Shutters DI. All of the gorgeous images are from Hero Arts. I then finished it with cord that was coloured with Pear Green Promarker, a little lace and a silver charm from my stash.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Cool Rider

Evening folks,
So sorry I've been awol for the last week but I took my shop to the Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show in Lincoln on Sunday so have been a little busy. Anyway time to share with you a new creation using yet another fabulous Kraftin Kimmie image. This time I have used the ever so coool! Danny. Good morning,
Wow I have even impressed myself. Why you may ask, well 3 posts in a week and more up my sleeve! Not bad ehh? hee hee :-)
Anyway I wanted to share this little card I made for a workshop on DIY embellishments. The flower was made from scratch as was the flower shaped enamel buttons.

The sketch I used is pretty old and I apologise but I can't remember where it came from but it was great to use. The papers are yet again 'Ella Blue' from GCD, teamed with French Roast Coredinations. I used Promarkers to colour and everything was distressed with Frayed Burlap DI.
I am entering this into the following challenges:

Florence Catching Some Rays

Good evening my fellow bloggers,
I hope everyone had a good weekend and managed to find plenty of crafting time. So pleased blogger is back up and running felt really lost without it. Anyway, I managed to get some more sample cards done for the Lincoln show and thought I would share this card with you using the very cool Florence from Kraftin Kimmie. The DP's are MME and and Doodlebug teamed with Coredinations.
I created this card for a class I ran last week which was how to use Nestabilities in a different way. For this card I used the negative frame created instead of the positive shape. This was then raised on pads to create 2 recessed panels, a little distressing on the bunting and sand dunes to give it texture and hey presto! As normal I used my trusty Promarkers to colour Florence and the shells.
I have just sent this card to my friends daughter who is in hospital at the mo after a big op so I would like to send her a huge hug and can't wait to see her back home.

I am entering Florence into the following challenges:

Boutique Tilda

Good morning to all in blogland,
Here is another little Tilda creation I wanted to share with you all. I wanted to be able to create a Tilda card for an older girlie so I went for a very sassy mix of black, white and and my favourite hot pink. I loved this boutique image from the Bon Voyage collection and Tilda weighed down with all her shopping bags is just adoreable.
I went for a regular easel design but then decided I wanted Tilda to pop out so I added a second little easel attachment to let her make a statement. I then added loads of layered pink flowers and heaps of gems to add the compulsary bling! I distressed the bunting to give it more of a fabric feel and added faux stitching to make the images pop!

Halloween Magical Mondays DT Card

Good morning all!
This morning sees the start of another challenge over at Magical Mondays and it's a fab 'Halloween' theme. So be sure to dig out your witchy stamps and give it a go. I am sponsoring this weeks challenge and have put up some goodies from my shop 'Cloudnine Crafts' for a prize. These include a gorgeous 6x6 DP pad from SEI, a Large pack of flowers from Flora Doodles and a lovely Tilda stamp from Magnolia.
Anyway this week for my Halloween DT contribution I chose to use the great Witchy Digi from TGF and the wonderful DP's are from the spooktackular 'Eerie' collection by Basic Grey. I created the Moon with a circular nestie and coloured it with my ProMarkers then I added punched spiky twiggy bits to look like an old spooky tree. The gem and pearl swirls are a bit dark to see on the picture but the thought was there. Well enough from me hope to see you all entering this fortnights challenge and good luck.
Hugs
Clare

Flowers' a really easy challenge theme so why not give it a go, also we are being sponsored by the fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have used the fabulous Honey Tilda and gently sat her on the Magnolia Big Daisy. I have coloured my image with ProMarkers and chalked the background. I used Papermania's new white mulberry paper flowers and coloured them with my ProMarkers to match the papers. So, today see's a new challenge over at ABC and it's a wonderful one. This time we want to see creations with the theme of 'Under the Sea'. We are being sponsored by our very own lovely Lacey and her store Stamp and Create. I would like to say a huge thank you to Lacey as she provided all of the DT with a fabulous stamp of their choice and a package of other lovely goodies. I chose to use the beautiful Calliope from Kraftin Kimmie along with some stunning Dp's from the Kioshi collection from Basic Grey. The gorgeous silk ribbon was from Lacey and the stamped greeting (which I use all the time) was a freebie from DoCrafts magazine. I used my ProMarkers to colour and added Glossy Accents to the cute octopus and added some flat back pearls as bubbles. I loved using this sketch which is the challenge over at I love ProMarkers.
