The Same Background Two Ways
Today I was scanning some new images and came across a few books with amazing end pages. The designs are so pretty. So I played with them on the computer and made them black and white and more stylized. Here is the same page altered slightly differently. I though they would make great background papers.

Digital Two for Tuesday 20
Wow, we are up to 20 and I hope you are enjoying the guest designers interpretation of our digital images each week as much as I am. This week is no exception. We have some amazing cards from Esther. I just love what she has created with t
hese images. Her use of color and texture make her cards really stand out. Here is her bio in her own words. "I'm a wife (for 10 years), mom (for 7 years), and crafter (since I was a kid). I started sewing as a teenager and have made everything from curtains to rag quilts. I've
enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting as well.
About 11 years ago I saw my first scrapbook and knew it was something I wanted to do.
My first attempts are interesting to look back on (so are the supplies that were available "back then"). It wasn't until 4 years ago that I became interested in making cards, and I've been hooked ever since! I think it's my all time favorite "crafty" activity. Not only does it "scratch" my itch to create, but it caters to my impatient nature in letting start and finish a project in one day. I enjoy finding new tools and techniques to use in my "trade," and especially enjoy using the free images Cora gives us every Tuesday. I was particularly thrilled when she ask me to guest design for this week.
For more information on the materials I used in these projects you can visit my blog." http://www.estherscardcreations.blogspot.com/

Digital Two for Tuesday 16
This week we have two different types of digital stamps. One is from the back cover of a book. I scanned it and it made the most lovely background stamp. The other is from a children's book. I thought it would be great for all those upcoming Halloween projects. Our guest hostess this week is one of my oldest web friends Nancy Maxwell James. We met each other on 2peas stamping board a several years ago. I often go to her for advice about stamping. You may recognize her work as she has been published in Somerset magazine many times. Nancy also has her own line of stamps called Sugar Lump Studios. Her challenge blog is called Gothic Arches. I hope you will take time to enjoy more of Nancy's beautiful artwork and to be inspired at her blog Sugar Lump Studios.
