The Max Factory – "Tudor City" -(Ecstatic Yod – actuel 5) 1995

The Max Factory is Alan Licht with or without friends.....that's what it says on the inner gatefold cover of another of that "Ass Run" series on that Father Yod label what we all dig so much.
So if you've ever been Licht by anyone called Alan, you'll know what to expect. If you haven't been Licht by someone called Alan, firstly 'Why Not?!',and secondly expect lots of spontaneous guitar noise akin to the sound of nails being scraped down an amplified chalk board.
If you have sensitive teeth, i advise caution when approaching this fine beast.

Fuzzhead – "El Saturn" (Ecstatic Yod - Actuel 7– FYPL-11) 1995

Another rather lovely interpretation of a BYG gatefold from the early seventies, this time involving improv weirdo's Fuzzhead from Cleveland (?) ,honoring original BYG artist, the Saturn dwelling Sun Ra.
Basically, garage-psychedelic freak-outs is what we have here, lengthy and totally improvised space jams that I'm sure Sun Ra would have approved of,even though he insists that all his music was written down and followed note for note. This I cannot apply to Fuzzhead, who, quite clearly are making this all up as they go along.Even daring to meddle with a few of Ra's Greatest Hits.Remember that K-Tel album,"The very Best of Sun Ra and
His Intergalactic Research Arkestra"? Not the

Sun Ra & His Solar Myth Arkestra one, that was on Ronco...not available in stores.
Just a quick note of interest, that Marshall Allen is still at the helm of the Sun Ra Arkestra, which is remarkable bearing in mind that he is in fact 100 years old and counting as this goes to press!?
However,Side 2 returns us all briefly,well,22 minutes worth anyway, to the bizarre mushroom and Ayahuasca influenced form of abstract Hip-Hop that Fuzzhead used to do in the early nineties.
It definitely is After The End of the World......Don't you know that yet?

Shit And Shine – "Everybody's A Fuckin Expert" (Editions Mego – eMEGO 212) 2015

The title of this, quite frankly, 'Dancey' album, kinda sums up the excrement filled creek that we are all stuck up without a paddle.
No-one likes a clever dick, and increasingly its the people who are patently NOT clever dicks who own the spare paddles, dragging us further into the more inaccessible regions of shitsville.
Sometimes we need,....really need, experts. You don't have to be friends with them, just acknowledge that they may know more stuff than you and let them get on with making our lives better rather than worse,and......a contentious point here....maybe even help save the planet from an impending environmental disaster.Be very careful what you say is a 'Lie' even if its backed up by 99% of all experts on the subject, because you just may be......MAYBE ,wrong(!?)......incredible as it may seem? All that "Research" you've done on facebook and YouTube, can sometimes mean you have read a lot of stuff that is in fact just made up bollocks. The scientists are quite prepared to admit they are wrong, whereas the University of Facebook just makes up more junk to further bury the actual Facts under a sludge pile of shit, that may never be cleaned up.The odds are, they are right, and you, a borderline Moron, are NOT!
If they are lying participants in the greatest conspiracy the planet has ever known, then ....great...no harm done? But, if they are correct...and it looks like they ,the Experts, are; the we are well and truly FUCKED.
Donald Trump considers himself an 'Expert' in may area's,the main one is being an ignoramus of the nth degree. This appeals to the human ego, as no-one wants anyone smarter than them telling them what to do,do they?
A classic TV moment on British TV on the subject of the unbelievably brainless 'Brexit' debate, was when Pro-Brexit Government minister, Michael Gove, brought forth the vote-winning mantra  "People have had enough of Experts from organisations with acronyms saying they know what is best and getting it consistently wrong"!?.......the 'people' word is always used by nazi's and nationalist jerk-offs in general.

.......says the lizard face fucker who has consistently fucked up every job he's ever had in Government.
The greatest example of this Brain reverse wiring has to be Trump asking his panel of soon to be saked experts, if they could somehow get light into the body
"Maybe you can, maybe you can't,I'm Not a Doctor, i'm just a person who has a good You Know What"

That video should just be played on a loop and streamed 24/7 to every social media device in the dumbest parts of the USA. Trump cleaning up the dumb vote will be a disaster of terminal proportions. At the very least it will result in Putin becoming the King of Europe, with at least the UK and Ireland being uninhabitable. In Russia, all the Experts are either poisoned, or in jail for life.
We Need Experts basically, or we is F.u.c.ked!
This is what Shit and Shine are alluding to in my Expert opinion.
Which explains the very Dance orientated nature of the lovely music contained within.Appeals to Dumb-asses and experts alike.
A call to end this celebration, and...word of the week.....'Weaponization', of Stupidity'

Happy Family – "Happy Family" (Cuneiform Records – rune 73) 1995

In this crazy,or do I mean Ker-aaaazzzzzy(?), mixed up muddled up old world that we tragically find ourselves imprisoned in, with no means of escape other than Death itself?....... I would have said Death Himself, but I'm flirting with being cancelled if I tread on the squeaky floorboards of sexual politics. So i'll leave the pronoun simply,as 'IT', or "ça" ,as they apparently say in France.Which is strange because I thought "ça" meant "That",until i saw the title on a French copy of Stephen King's "It!" was translated as "ça"......y'know, I think i would have read that schlock nonsense tome if it was called Stephen King's "That!"...a far better title.
Aha! France got mentioned again i noticed! As i've loosely been meandering through the murky ox-bow lakes of French Prog,in it's many mimicking forms, and brings us swiftly to the one form of musique moderne that is firmly rooted in that unfathomable land of Basque beret's, stripey shirts ,onions on strings, apalling body odeur parfum and cassoulet (which is basically bangers and beans for those lucky enough never to have had this reputation busting  crime against basic culinary standards).....where were we again?....ah yes...Zeuhl!
Basically Zeuhl is French Prog disguised as Frank Zappa's smarter brothers more intricately scored works as played by a heavy metal band of Jazzers.....and it ALL sounds the same. Usually they have very impressively crisp Jean Jacques Burnel Bass sounds, heavily miked up,and, massive,Drum Kits;as normally played by the band leader, who will come down hard on anyone a nano-beat out of time. The time signatures are strictly anything but 4/4,and they sing in made up languages. Sounds fun huh?
And this time claiming to be Belgian will not help your inevitable fate.
So here's one of the very best ever Zeuhl records, and ironically, as we've just had a French band playing Canterbury Scene Prog,as well as several French Krautrockers, here we have some Zeuhl as played by a bunch of Japaneses.Just as Japan is the only other country dumb enough to play baseball outside of the USA,they seem to be the only country outside of France to play Zeuhl. Infuriatingly, as normal, our Japanese brothers.....ok,and sisters(!), have a enviable talent of taking western musical forms and cranking them up a notch, from 10 to 11, to repeat that rock satire cliché one more time. They're better at Punk, better at Metal, better at Psych, better at Free Jazz, better at Harsh Noise, and they're better at Zeuhl as well. I suppose Japs are like fat girls in bed....they have to try harder or be binned off and ignored, bless 'em?
Maybe I exaggerate? Not like me I know, but in this case I definitely........am?
Naah! Jap music rules dude...as some awful fucking yank skate-punk kid would say....but allow me to over-emphasise at will ,will ya.......duuuuude? I think i'm gonna be sick......it's that fucking 'orrible Cassoulet I ate for lunch coming back up to say sorry.
Sadly this fine CD album,is/was not available on Vinyl, which was the fate for countless numbers of poor lickle artists in the mid-nineties.If you see a vinyl album by a half-decent group from between 1990 and 2005 at a reasonable price, buy it,cus they are worth an eyewatering amount of your stolen crypto-currency. I sold all my Shoegaze collection for so much I nearly had to move to the British Virgin Islands and pass myself off as a British Virgin. That Ride album with the ocean on the cover (Nowhere?) paid my mortgage for a month!? I also found out that My Bloody Valentine's "Isn't Anything" was ironically worth quite a lot of something after all.
And No, Sonic Youth are NOT Shoegaze!

Besthöven - "Os Mortos Insepultos" (Self-Released Demo) 1995

There aren't too many Shitlickers covers going around, but Brazil's D-Beat kings Besthoven did a cover of "Warsystem". Although this demo tape makes Shitlickers sound like they were produced by Trevor Horn.....well,not quite, but you get what I mean.
Who would have thought that a dressing style which once populated the grey streets of Stoke-On-Trent,uk, circa 1981 would crop up in the homeland of Bossa Nova in the mid-nineties?
Its brutal stuff but there's some much needed space in the recording, the clangorous knuckle dragging bass is audible among the six-stringed savage bees attack going on around it;and the drums surf atop, this wave of zero-fi cassette tape meltdown effortlessly.Making a disintegrating bespoke frame for the strangled vocals which seemed concerned very much with human disabilities, although not the disability for the average human to listen to fine music like this without getting a headache.
Just noticed I have yet to put any of the beyond great Shitlickers work on this blog!?....a glaring omission indeed.
Will rectify on next post......many apologies.

Various Artists – "Tokyo Flashback 4" (P.S.F. Records – PSFD-69) 1995

This washed out cover is Tokyo Flashback 4.It's 1995 and Boredoms' records were beginning to work their way onto the coffee table, and name-dropped at low level meetings in the bank boardroom.....the Boardoms?...It helped that they had a pronounceable name I guess?
Alan Cummings' notes should suffice as I ain't got nuffink left to say on the matter, except that its the same as the other 7 or so Flashbacks, with a lot of the same people on it....not surprisingly including Keiji Haino......again.Oh yeah, there is an avant garde String Quintet stuck on at the end for those of you with wider taste rainbows.

46,000 Fibres ‎– "Emanates" (Mongolian Tourist Board ‎– MTB 018) 1995

I was looking through the bargain box in the old Ultima Thule shop in Leicester, looking for some 50p Polish Folk albums and marked down Hungarian Prog back in 95',when I spotted this. Read about it whilst glancing through the Wire in WH Smiths' magazine section.....much better than actually buying it.
Free Improv it said, and so it was, with hints of This Heat and they obviously liked Can,two influences that tempt one to replace the CD back on the rack and ruminate once again whether to buy an Urban Sax album again....something that I still haven't done 25 years later.
I'm always suspicious of groups wearing their influences on their sleeves,it stinks of record collectors making music and other music bores......rather like myself.Look,if i wanted to listen to myself i'd go and knock out an album,so I don't need anyone else to do it for me ,comprend?
I was indulging in a facebook argument about some shit, when one of the participants said he was in a band...yep...guess what he was in 46.000 Fibres. I said 'hey I got a record of yours', "Emanates". He reckoned that this one was the shittest thing they ever did. I didn't disagree, but it's actually quite good;in fact if a group member says one of their works is shit, it usually means, contrarily, that its the best thing they ever did.Always pushing product ain't they? I got a new album out syndrome.....capitalist bastards all.
They're still going today...46.000 Fibres.....apparently.

Descension ‎– "Live March 1995" (Shock ‎– SX029CD) 1995

The best thing you ever saw at a Sonic Youth concert apart from the Exit door, was Descension, who were basically  Ascension plus two......double bassist Simon H Fell, and saxophonist Charles Wharf. This is where they began to resemble an AMM tribute act; but an AMM tribute act who got to support Sonic Youth on tour once back in '96. Those indie kids didn't know what hit 'em.This makes Sonic Youth sound more like a slightly out of tune Nirvana rather than the Avant-Garde legends they think they are.
Descension are slightly less pleasing than cousin Ascension is, mainly because it sounds too much like Free Jazz compared to its sax-less family member....but a rather marvellous racket nevertheless.

Patrik Fitzgerald Group ‎– "Pillow Tension" (Lazy Dog Records ‎– LZD 012)

Greece never forgot all the heroes of the post-punk era, unlike in the United Kingdom, where all that brilliance was dumped in the trash for the sake of dancing themselves silly and taking enough erroneous drugs to create a soon arriving Tsunami of dementia for the so-called 'Trainspotting Generation'.
So naturally this was the only country (apart from Norway) that would touch Patrik Fitzgerald with that proverbial barge pole. The result was this mid-nineties Greece only CD recording of Patrik and Group, giving a slick portrayal of songs old and new,all making their only appearance on any recorded media format.
Again Patrik sounds like he's still only twenty, and the songwriting is as good as always, and as bleak as always. "Frozen Dreams" is one of my favourite PF tracks of all-time.....maybe its because i can identify with the turmoil of becoming a parent. Most songs describe this life changing/ending experience as something truly wonderful, but the reality is that this opinion rarely surfaces post-natal,among its victims. Also deemed 'Beautiful' is the actual birth process, which was like a scene from Hellraiser. As soon as i saw the blood soaked stainless steel chain of the ventouse pulling my trapped daughter into the world, I was immediatley struck with the reality that there really was no God!All hope died in that moment.
Its like giving birth to a prison, and all the depressing prospects that come with a long tranch of penal servitude.....all because of a long period of penile servitude. My advice to all you fertile types who probably aren't reading this blog about vintage musics, is.....keep the fucking thing in your pants...its for pissing.
Twenty years later, i have emerged from the darkness to feel grateful that I have a Daughter, and nothing really matters. Except, that to bring an innocent lifeform into the bleak doom of existance is a selfish crime of enormous proportions......again keep it in yer pants ladz.
Now i'm too fucking old to do everything we talked about in our youth,(I say 'we',but of course we split up), and don't expect your kids to hang around to ease your lonliness either......those ungrateful fuckers will be off on the adventures you never had, except for the annual visits they will grant you for the final twenty years of your wasted life.So in fact one will see your loved progeny only another twenty times before you die.....unless the virus gets you first, and then they get your house that you broke your back to aquire, for nothing?!
If i'd have heard this album before my biological clock,or cock, told me to procreate..... a special kind of madness!?.....i might have heeded the warning;but i had no idea that patrik had made any albums at all after 1979.......now i do,and so do you, so no excuses. Either abstain or put a 'Rubber Johnny'* on your knob#.

Brion Gysin ‎– "Recordings 1960-81" (Perdition Plastics ‎– PER 004) 1995

Here we go again.....anyone called Brion, not Brian,or Bryan, is certainly posh and reeks of privilege. With a brief bit of research these suspicions were confirmed.Educated at a Fancy public school near Bath (UK),and by the age of 18 he was studying at the Sorbonne in Paris. Hangin out with the likes of Max Ernst's missus, Salvador Dali and Picasso in the "Surrealists Group", from which he was inexplicably expelled by André Breton,as happened frequently were i came from, all at the age of 19. Needless to say,if you were of modest means it would be extremely doubtful you would be anywhere near André Breton, never mind being expelled from the community centre for crimes against Surrealism. I, for one,was never sent home from the local underclass abstract expressionism club and ,thankfully, never had to explain to my mum that Mark Rothko had me expelled for not being abstract or expressive enough, and could I invite Willem de Kooning over for beans on toast later?
The only art happening where I came from, was the odd swastika sprayed on a wall over the admitedly abstract phrase of "Pakis Out"*. Nowadays those very same 'Pakis' are spraying stuff like 'Brexit Now' to get rid of the Poles. Epitomised by the new tory Home Secretary, a child of ugandan asians, who is determined to shut the door on any more poor immigrants...like her parents were? Fucking Insane!
I don't wanna go through Gysin's life story, but lets just say, he never seemed to need a job,and drifted effortlessly around the globe meeting up with famous artist and bohemian types of all statures.
Most famed for the re-invention of the Dada-ist 'cut-up Technique, which was in fact nothing new,and gave it to William Burroughs to mess around with.Burroughs explained that Gysin was "the only man that I've ever respected in my life. I've admired people, I've liked them, but he's the only man I've ever respected."...slightly arrogant?
I suspect that Burroughs was the victim of that intellectual arrogance that all Public School boys, and upper class twits in England get drip fed at birth, even if they know fuck-all,which generally is the case.I'd say Bill respected Gysin because he was intellectually intimidated by those insideous British upper-class vibes,as most Americans are.
As far as I can see Gysin was just more inventive in his stealing from the past, and could explain it all away as his own doing, without actually saying so.
However These writings and sound experiments were a considerable influence on the Industrial Music, and culture of the late seventies......so says I.
Gysin enjoyed messing with language ,what makes a word a word, and how easily words change their meaning,or effect, by just rearranging a few letters or their speed. One short phrase could be transformed into a new language......or,as is the case in most of these pieces, into complete stuff of nonsense.
The same could be done with sounds,as in the Pistol Poems, with vari-speeded recordings of a gunshot, which he made for the BBC. A resurrection of another Dada-ist idea,'The Sound Poem'
This CD has all of Gysin's most influential recorded moments collected in one place.
Best listened to with one of Gysin's other claims to fame, he and Ian Sommerville's "Dream Machine",which was probably just the work of Sommerville, and Gysin named it afterwards?:

*Paki is a derogatory term used generally for anyone from the asian subcontinent, and is even used for Arabic and semetic people by the ignorant. The equivalent of the 'N' word but for asians. I've even heard it used by Indians as an insult to white people, as in "White Paki"......its crazy ol' world out there innit?

Charles Manson ‎– "Commemoration" (White Devil Records ‎– WDCD 3 10666 2) 1994

For fear of starting a new murder cult in praise of George Best lookalike, Charles Manson. Here's one of his most coherant and listenable recordings, made at the Vacaville Medical Facility.
There are some slightly unhinged moments where he appears to be losing it somewhat.Lots of sweary words and suggestions of innocence.Y'know the usual martyr somplex that populate such secure mental facilities.
So if you're one of those suggestable flowers who would welcome Charles Manson as your new personal saviour, and kill for him, look away now.
This collection of Manson's nut house recordings, made between sept 1982 and sept 1984,was put together by yawn-some apologists called Michael M. Jenkins, and James Mason.
Like Manson, they think he is some kind of Philosopher and freedom fighter,a prisoner of war(!?),they say in the hilarious liner notes, and was fitted up by the iluminati to silence his truth.
Ironically this is subtitled 'Commemorating Sixty Years Of Struggle Against Cowardice, Stupidity And Lies.'. The cowardice being why Manson got others to do his killing for him. The lies being everything that comes out of his rancid pie-hole that never seems to stop talking.....primarily about himself, and,of course 'Them'.
The Stupidity, must refer to his inability to understand that to be guilty of conspiracy to murder doesn't necessarily require you to be present at the scene of the crime. The source of his catchphrase of Dude "I didn't Kill Anybody" Maaaaan! And even more stupider because he was placed at the scene of the LaBianca murders, at which he even re-tied the victims because his followers hadn't tethered them together properly enough for Charlie.Duh!

"Manson's struggle is for Life;not human life but Life Itself!"(Michael M Jenkins aka Twat!)

Derek Bailey & Eugene Chadbourne ‎– "Tout For Tea!" (Rectangle ‎– Rec-L) 1995

Derek Bailey and Chadbourne dueting?????
There are some spoken interchanges between the two, and towards the audience. With 'Blue Jeans' attempts at humour falling very flat.
Derek sounds rather witty however, but Eugene sounds as irritating as his guitar style.
I dunno which one wins out in the number of collaborations league, but I wager neither of them has ever managed to achieve an 'Eno Collaboration'?........would love to hear of any great lost Bailey and Eno collaboration out there, one can but dream I guess?

Derek Bailey & Henry Kaiser ‎– "Wireforks" (Shanachie ‎– 5011) 1995

Henry Kaiser sounds too clever by half.
What do you expect from someone who learned all the guitar parts from "Trout Mask Replica" off by heart?
But, at least he recognises true innovation when he sees or hears it, and this is why he has faultlessly championed Derek Bailey over the years,.... the avant-guitarists avant-guitarist.
Here,or hear, they are, in a relentless improv-off, that culminates in Kaiser asking Derek if he wanted to do a 'loud one', to which the  great man replied with a succinct.....'OK'. Always open to anything was our Derek.

Keiji Haino / Loren Mazzacane Connors ‎– "Live At Downtown Music Gallery, New York City, August 1, 1992" (Persona Non Grata) 1995

Another of my favourite guitar abusers,as if anyone cares, is, obviously, Keiji Haino, late of Fushitsusha.
So, when this improv performance with Loren Mazzacane Connors came into existence, one had to hear it. Two guitarists with intrinsically opposite styles don't make obvious bedfellows, and in this case, it shows. Haino seems to struggle to adapt himself to the quieter understated style of Connors, rather than do what he does best,ie making a soul shattering racket, inbetween the quiet patches, with the odd death rattling scream.
Nah, doesn't work, for me anyway;Despite what it says on the sleeve notes ,but well worth a try.
There's a second record apparently,maybe thats better?

Thee Electrocutionists ‎– "Sorry: Not In Service" (Union Pole ‎– UP57) 1995

Another project that featured Phil Todd of Ashtray Navigations was Thee Electrocutionists. The sound is yer usual trademark effect laden fuzzy noise encrusted dark ambient fog, and the cover seems to predict the London Bombings of 2007. Although I do rember an IRA bomb doing the same in London, when an Irish Terrorist/freedom fighter was transporting a bomb which prematurely exploded, killing the idiot, and injuring a few passengers in the process.
I was, once upon a time, witness to the last IRA bomb on the mainland, a deadly Bicycle bomb!? Not quite as laughable as the underpants bomber, but laughable all the same. This lethal bike was spotted, casually chained to the railings on Brighton Pier! Why those vicious religiously extreme marxists. The bomb squad effected a controlled explosion while we all watched from the pub, and cheered when it went 'POP'!
The worst part of the evening was, whilst asleep in the hotel, the fire alarm went off, so we all thought it was the proper bomb this time and rushed to get our clothes on to escape this evil. Turned out that some twat was smoking in his room and set the smoke detector off!!!

Prick Decay ‎– "Junk Operatics: Quasi Thot Stimulants". (Betley Welcomes Careful Drivers) 1995

Prick Decay must be Scottish, and they are apparently? I say they, its mainly a chap called Dylan Nyoukis, and anyone daft enough to collaborate with him....which at some point included alt-rock eternal teenager Thurston Moore, late of Sonic Youth.
At least Pete Townsend only mentioned a wish to die before he got old in a song that wasn't necessary to play every night, but Sonic Youth had the word 'Youth' out front, even when they were very visibly, NOT young. Ahhhh, the optimism of the younger generation, too young to really know disappointment, and too stupid to realise that we're all gonna get old and die.
Listening to the jumbled racket of Prick Decay, its obvious that Dylan knows all too well the rapidly approaching inevitablity of the curtains closing on the sick pantomime of 'life'.
His patented (not) method of sound construction, which he calls , Junk Operatics,is nothing new or inovative;its something everyone was doing from the incept date of DIY back in the late seventies when the humble cassette recorder became affordable for council estate scum like me.
We just didn't have the arrogance to give it a name.It like saying you'd invented Country and Western a few weeks ago while sitting on the Bog.
He's even written a full A4 thesis on the subject, included with the tape, that sets out the various 'types' of J.O. that are possible.
He could have also invented the Abstract Impressionism that adorns the cover for all we know......he probably thinks so.
Yes Dylan?.....tell us unworthy specimens of your genius:

It's a bit blurry, but basically here's the abridged version:

"Junk Operatics is the basic overlaying of four or more sounds.
the important thing to remember is the sounds should be recorded without listening to any of the sounds previously recorded, that way the random factor is added and the Opera is fuelled." (D.Nyoukis,1995)

Officer! ‎– "Dead Unique" (Blackest Ever Black ‎– BEB CD006) 2014

Mick Hobbs with friends and acquaintances, subverting the medium of the 'Pop Song' in Baltimore, in 1995, and belatedly released twenty years later.
One must say, this is actually the best 'Officer!' album, and is strewn with minor celebs from the avant-rock hinterland; like most of The Work, Jad Fair, and Amy Denio ,among others who I ain't necessarily heard of. In fact all of the fabulous 'Strobe Talbot' appear on this, and will, coincidentally, be featured next, as fate may have it!?

Rudimentary Peni ‎– "Pope Adrian 37th Psychristiatric" (Outer Himalayan Records ‎– BOOBOO 5) 1995

After another forced hiatus of seven years, where Nick Blinko was in fact detained under section 3 of the UK mental Health Act in a psychiatric institution. It was during his time in this secure unit that he wrote another Prog-Punk concept album.....allegedly.
Its a strange beast with a speech loop of the latin translation of Pope Adrian, playing for the whole of the album between and during all the songs!?....you have to be crazy to have an idea like that.
Musically, the songs have become a standard three minutes in length, slightly slower and metallic, and Blinko's vocals have become a lot more restrained; as if he was on medication, which he probably was. These are the meds, he says stop him dreaming, that he has to stop taking in order to make his art, Obviously not necessary in order to make music.
Comfortably the worst Rudi P record......but don't worry it gets a lot better from here.

Die Trip Computer Die! - " Sibling Family Research." (Its War Boys? Cassette 1995-ish)

Various ex-homosexuals(the famous DIY band not those of a certain sexuality I might add) formed a trio called "Die Trip Computer Die!" in the mid-1990's,led by noise decomposer/ video artist Lepke Buchwater (Milk from Cheltenham) with Xentos 'Fray' Bentos (also known as Pete the Drummer, Dr. Shagnasty and 'Bubbles' in the Beyonce fan club) and Ted Barrow. inventor of various ur-instruments, most notably 'The Baxtertron' which was an electronic 'black box' constructed inside a recently vacated Ferrero Rocher box.
This was released well before any of their more famous cd's on the Alcahol label, and was apparently one of many,so I don't know much about it,except that it is beamed from outer space magnificence on a c-60.
The sound is a sectioned version of Plunderphonics, sampling snatches of elevator muzak, and layering it against dodgy glitches and curcuit bending. There definately lurks a sense of humour, inherent in all homosexuals related material, it even sounds ominously like mid period residents on some tracks ("Dat Wuz Da Beat Dat Bwoke Mah Heart")
