My mum's tutorials

My mother's work published again!

 In the dutch" Dollhouse  Nederland", magazine with her tutorial of making this sweater.

I think my mother is going to be very famouse.

My mother made the sweater, cap and jeans.

The lovely porcelein doll is made by Angelique, she sells them at fairs and she has a website:          

Angel's Little Ones.

She also has a very nice blog here, please take a look, you won't be dissapointed.

My mother really liked the nice comments on her needlework shop and want to thank all of you all, give you all the greetings and kisses back.

She wants to do something for you all and she is making a swaeter for a Give-Away.

When it is finneshed she will anounce it on my blog, and we have a little Give-Away party...so not yet.

International Christmas Swap 2011

I did join the International Christmas Swap from organized by Catarina from /http://leminisdicockerina.blogspot.com/

This is what Cristina Diego made for me, a wonderful decorated Christmas tree with real working light! and that's not all, she also made a lovely bowl full of Christmas sweets, abunch of flowers and she also included some nice old fashioned mode pictures (not on the photo). I feel so spoiled, thank you Cristina. I love it!

Because my photo is coming out blurry all the time, i don't know why, i borrowed Cristina's photo.

So you girls and some guys can see how much Cristina spoiled me.

This is what i made for Kaisa, i had so much fun making it.

I also received by mail(i know a blurry photo again)this crocheted wreath made by Carmen,
i joined her give-away and she made some extra prizes, so i was very lucky.

Day 2 of the corners

First thing we did today was sanding all the wood and file the ends of the floor for a neat finnish.

 Then we stained the floors and also give the edges a second layer of stain.

 The ice sticks look now more like a wooden floor, still see some spots that need some touch with the brush.

 My mother asked for the empty racks that holds the toothbrushes in the store.

It is from white plastic.

 The removed the paper with the brand name.

 I had some colored wood sticks, i bought last year for only 1euro.

 We have them cut to size.

 So they fit between the gaps.

 Then painted them in a nice color.

Hey look we both suddenly had a painted thum.

First when we started to paint, it looks like the paint not stick to the plastic.

But  the second layer was well.

Meanwhile we wallpapered the inside and the outside.

 I will make a picture in daylight so you can see the details of the wallpaper.

 The border on top with the houses i printed from the internet.

 The racks now painted a second time.

Blue and green.

 My mother did the green one and i the blue one.

Now it's time to clean up the mess.

Shabby Chic house.

I like to surf on the internet.

This morning there happened something weird .

I found a new blog about a very tiny romantic real life home: My Shabby Streamside Studio.

So i thought, well that is a good idea for a little dollshouse, maybe my next project.

But when surfing a bit more into lovely other blogs i found that some one already came up whith this idea before: Shop Cinderella Moments .

Take a look at both.

It's so beatifull, especially if you like white and the shabbychic style.

They both have a wonderfull blog.
