I rushed to town today to get some materials for a friend's baby set and to fetch my BHG's APQ magz. for Feb. 2010 and of course some DMC floss for my first come-back project of cs.

Later today, a friend came to my sewing studio and started browsing this magz..... when she came across this gorgeous tote..... she was mumbling something that I did not dare listen ........mmmm just could not believe her wanting to sew THIS tote.....!!

Well, don't worry I will sew one for you... since you are still a school girl..... hoping that you will study hard to strive your goals...... I will be happy, as a reward!!

MOTHER'S DAY SELF-TREAT

Happy Mother's Day to all dearest mother all over the globe.....

So today is Mother's Day in Malaysia.....

To console or rather selftreat myself, last night I made this cutie to replace my old tote for the Qur'an class. Added up with that are a little pencil case and a Qur'an cover to match all....

>Just a simple tote bag with outside and inner pockets, lining and zipper.

>Pencilcase is a box-design with zipper.

>I add up two strands of ribbons as bookmarks for the Qur'an cover.

EPAL'S TOTE

while shuffling over some drawers i found this. made this while i was with Epal years ago... became their members for a year (since i bought my MC300e from them). did not do much projects since i was having my own class. what a nice memory i had there, even though i seldom have time to visit them. on and off i did go to their HQ near my home at Bandar Kinrara Puchong. this is the one and only project i managed.... poor me

It is of wool with cotton lining and hand quilted. Wrapped button closure and braided straps.
