DARR's

Full effort was on this to complete before the Eid and was just on time... a comforter (90"x98") accompanied by a fitted mattress cover and 2 sets of matching pillowcase for DARR

From the beginning I was so undecided about quilting the borders and when I removed the whole quilt out of the frame and found that the stitches were not similar to that of the other machine which usually I did my quilting on then down came TEH from her throne!....

It was quite impossible to mount back the whole quilts on the frame...... 

It laid off my hands for two days.... and several designs were applied and unpicking was done many times too....:( 

 Finally, stipple was still my choice..... if only I had decided earlier I would have continuously done so from the beginning.... 

Well I am happy that it is neatly completed and felt contented with the result.... :)

Bedding cover for Farah

Did not take some snaps of the finished items, a fitted super king size mattress cover and 4 pieces ruffled pillow case for Farah, a beautiful daughter of Datin Hazama. 

So glad Farah did sent me her shot... Thanks Farah

Only.....colour play

An overdue assignments................. and done finally! 27 pieces of pillowcases and 5 pieces of tablecloths. Belong to an old acquaintances and relatives.

Just realized some coincidence here..... their choice of colours are almost alike..... 5 individual owners in total....... :)

An early bird, does the delivery and posting!

Stayed up late last night to get these pillowcases done. This morning, an early bird, me :)..... started ironing all and ready for packing.

Some of the seasonal order from few friends, and I have to get more fabrics in town, after delivering and posting the above.

Pillowcases

Supposed to deliver last week, but I was away from sewing and just managed awhile ago.
24 pieces of pillowcase - 10 white with blue, 12 red with white and 2 white with pink stripes.

RELIEF...

Each was embroidered, iron neatly, pack individually and delivered to the rightful owners this morning......

Argh, what a relief!

WIP - Embroidery

This Janome Memory Craft, Mek, will be my companion for the whole of this week.
She will sings melodiously and embroidering 42 pieces of pillowcases and 15 pieces of tablecloth......while I do my other sewing.

Come on Mek......... we work together hand in hand....... and finish up by this week!

N & H pilowcases and sampler blocks

While embroidering the "N" a friend came and she requested for 2 sets of pillow cases with a 'N' and a 'H' on other two pieces. I took the opportunity to pursue along on my sampler blocks.

Patiently waiting......

............to get the final touch!!!!

I did not have 2 hours previously to finish up these lots, to sit, to cut the tail threads and to iron up. Completed the embroidery parts, 'bout 2 weeks ago...... just 24 pieces of pillowcases and 11 pieces of table clothes.

Yet, they have to be delivered soon.... and now ready for packing, finally!

WIP......

These are part of the task that I am enforcing now......endless tablecloths and pillowcases. One piece at a time and they are queuing patiently to get embroidered!
Whilst the machine humming gently besides me........ on the other hand I am getting these basket to get wrapped. Baskets from IKEA and beautiful cotton fabric by owner.....!

:2 blue pillow cases and a matching table cloth plus a piece of green

:10 pieces of tablecloth

Hope my embroidery machine will have a good rest this weekend for I am off for some new thing to learn......... will update later.

Emb. PILLOWcases

For the past two days my hands were full with these pillow cases. A simple embroidery adorned on one side with a white 2 inches strip to tone down the peachy-pink fabric colour of
Puan Haton's choice. All one dozen for her. But I added up two whites with matching strips to compromise the other set.

And the extra one piece is for me to keep..... :D
