 Made these two identical baby comforter awhile ago. And now both was taken by Puan Rozaina when she came to collect her Diamond Haxy Quilt and  a baby fish bedding sets...... Thanks  Puan!!

Another Diamond Hexagon

Another one of the same diamond design is forming for Puan Zaimah with some shades of purple. This is done at my home and should be delivered shortly after the Eid al-Fitr .....

Could I managed?..... A wedding is coming and I have sewings to finish....!!!!!

Finally, it ends!!

It was not easy to just sit and sew when one has a small studio to organise and you are alone ....

 But when little accomplishment achieved I was on top of the world....!!!!

But sadly I have to depart with the above to a good new owner.....Puan Rozaina, a very good client of ADRS

 It has been years since I last post this and hope it will be completed without any further delay......:)

WIP.... DARR's

We spend few days at BK3 with the children and we had great times there. Although I did not cooked any rendang or ketupat for the big day, everything was well organized and bought, ready for the days......

During my stay I found the above...... and I could recalled that.......
Just after Darr's SPM exams was over seven years ago, I managed to persuade her to pickup sewing some simple hexagon flowers, for a single size quilt. I found this half way done, neatly packed inside a box with all sewing items and fabrics necessary........hiding under her bed.
She was unable to complete it until today... :)

After the Eid was over I took home this to Alor Setar and I am working on this top now.

HexyDiamond is almost there..!

Almost a week I was dealing with this diamonds and the top was done. It measures approximately around 82" square. The frame was sewn and will look for a suitable backing fabric and quilt it and get it completed.

I attached the frame using this MekTam. She has been hibernating for quite sometimes now...and I will not let her rest anymore.
Day and night she will be drooling with me....... She is a real beauty!

Diamonds

The diamonds were flourishing and growth was formed................ just a little.
But I am happy non the less to be able to touch them, hopefully, soon to be like THIS

HEXAGON GAME-Zura's

This is a logical sequence of our HexyGame. Came at my post box yesterday..... from one participant from Sabah, Zura. I was overwhelmed with joy for a while but...... when I contacted her she asked if I ever received one batch consist 10 pieces..... NO!

The 20 pieces as above was sent after the one lost on the way to my home....... Today everything was corrected, after all the hustle bustle, and the Post Master came to clarify on my door step, we agree to declare that it was lost on my premise....... hooooo what a deal.... I have to say so to save all the mess......

Zura, thanks a lot for the lovely flowers..... I really appreciate them all.

All seems like a very pleasant dilemma to be in, but frustrating nonetheless.

Little Hexy Things

It was so hot and dry outside the house, and made me drowsy almost.

But still could not help from the urge of sewing.

From my remnants of the WI basket project (little achievement during the event/meeting, will post here later after the state meeting soon) these cutie little things were produced......

Oh n0, still have to get my nap...bye for now!

Tiny but not TINY

I was away from my sewing nook and just a bit tired and weary for the whole of this week. Yet have to dig my stash to sew something small and cute before I leave the house ........ one or two little 1" hexy per day. I am to do this tiny phone charms to be on sales, donation or as a door gifts plus some other items during the yearly carnival on May in our small town, Alor Setar.

I had posted this here sometimes ago..... had done few for friends and received a good respond and decided to have them a go as fund raising projects. Let it flow smoothly while sewing these...'cos I am doing hundreds of them....... :) InsyaAllah

Diamonds are growing

For the past few weeks.... I had been doing alot of runnings ...... but it pays off well!

While I was away from home.....my take along projects accompanied me faithfully and I whipped up few diamonds for The Great Hexagons Quilt Along and attached them together. Now the diamonds are growing......

HEXAGON GAME flowers from Naiz

A bundle of joy from Naiz...... 30 pieces of grandmother's flower and 2 great x-stitch and patchwork books dropped on my door step yesterday ..... simply lovely!

Thanks Naiz..... I have waited long enough for these to arrived... but it worth it..... all are beautiful!

HEXAGON GAME flowers from Fida

This lots came from Fida (my fourth batch)...... part of the hexagon games we had last year. Thanks Fida, all are lovely.

We have not officially close this game since, as the last recipients, I am still (so do my other friends) waiting very patiently, flowers from Naiz, Zura and Via. Hope will get those soon, to complete my quilt and get it done with....................

AND I am sure other participants are still hoping to get theirs too...... :D

COSMETIC BAGS

Quilted little cosmetic bags for Hasmawati.

Made from Japanese cotton Sashiko print. Just traced the diamond for quilting. Three compartments separated by soft netting which I came across at Kamdar previously, cotton lining and zipper.

The zipper pull is a hexagon, stuffed with fiber filling attached with 1" leather strap. A simple design of 23cm x 18cm x 5cm.

Another little bag for Hasmawati from the left over fabric as a gift to match.

FIXING PIECES AGAIN

Long since my last entry of this hexagon, diamond. Promise to concentrate and will add this to my few of the completed tops and be quilted soon...

To be frank I have lots of fabrics cut for some hexagon projects, which have yet to be pieced..... soon..... very soon!! Pray hard.... and it is growing and multiplying.....!!!!!!

BUNGA HEXY Mrs FEDEX

Tengok lah bunga hexy dari Mus.....cantik-cantik dan comel-comel semua..... especially yang warna merah..... KD suka sangat fabric yang macam Japanese kimono design tu... memang cantik dan ada gold lines.

Mus, thanks a lot Mus...... I love them all. With yours it will make a beautiful combination all in together :)

Alhamdulillah syukur, dah selesai semua bunga-bunga dari KD untuk kawan-kawan geng hexy ni....

Yang terakhir telah diposkan untuk Zura, 30 kuntum semua....dan sebiji pincushion.... harap Zura sabar!

Giliran KD pulak menunggu posmen lepas ni..... :)

HEXAGON GAME #7 - ZURA

Assalamu'alaikum semua.

Maaf KD minta kerana lambat sikit buat entry untuk kali ni.... Dah masuk perserta yang ke tujuh ia itu ZURA seperti semua telah maklum. Dan dah ada pun yang siap dan hantar pada Zura....... Malah KD sendiri peserta tiga yang terakhir pun dah dapat dari SHIMA, terima kasih Shima.

Selalu KD lawat blog Zura. Beliau telah sihat dan teruja untuk mengejar dan menyudahkan bunga2 yang tertunggak.... sian Zura. Relex sikit Zura, nanti terjejas pulak kesihatan you.... jangan tension sangat, okay. Tapi dari perbualan KD ngan Zura, Zura rasa seronok pula dengan hexy ni, dan dah dapat pickup dengan mudah dan lancar..... laju ajer siap katanya........... Oh yer, VIA cam ner yer.... dia jarang update blog dia, jadi tak tau perkembangan Via... ada sesiapa yang berhubung ngan Via... leh update, please!

KD nak minta maaf juga pada Shima KD lambat siapkan bunga2 tu....
Tapi tu dah siap semua... pulun semalaman jahit, Alhamdulillah! Nanti KD pos, petang ni atau besok pagi yer Shima.

HEXAGON GAME # 6 - SHIMA

Assalamu'alaikum semua.

Dah lebih separuh perjalanan kita dalam game ni......... rasa nyer yang dah dapat awal2 tu dah bolih cantum, macam Fida, Cik Kema, Mus...... aduh, KD pulak yang rasa tak sabar. Best juga kalau dapat tengok perkembangan bunga-bunga kawan-kawan. Kalau bolih tunjuk kat blog masing2 pun okay juga atau antar kat KD nanti KD post/buat entry kat sini.... takde masaalah.... memeriahkan!

Oh yer ada berita sedikit dari rakan kita Puan Balkhis......... Baru2 ni dia ada sms kat KD.... dia sihat tapi sibuk sesangat, kena kursus lagi di Langkawi (Khis tak per kursus tu pun leh bertukar angin, baik untuk minda dan ada masa untuk diri sendiri, at least for awhile)

Okay, masa untuk undian...... tengok siapa yang kena!!!!!!

Tinggal dua gulung kertas yang nak kena undi giliran ke 6........

S-H-I-M-A yang kena! Tahniah Shima!!!!!

Secara tak langsung seterusnya adalah Zura, KD, KD dan KD.

Macam biasa KD harap sangat semua update kat sini terutama Via dan Zura..... walaupun sedikit komen sudah memadai tanda telah acknowledge tentang entri ini....... KD doa, anda berdua sihat sejahtera....

Shima telah lama konfim nak pink/kuning (ada perubahan Shima?). Dan harap Zura juga dapat konfim pink/????.
