MALAYSIAN

Hari ini terasa semangat nya menjadi anak Malaysia, yang telah mendapat kemerdekaan hampir seusia umur kDee sendiri...... (terasa tua pulak diri ini!)

Dan esok HARI MALAYSIA, dan semua bercuti....... walaupun diri kDee tak pernah ada cuti dari terus menjahit dan terus dengan aktiviti harian.............! Yang penting kDee bangga sangat si lahirkan di bumi bertuah ini.

Sejak kebelakangan ini kDee agak down sikit dengan routine harian. Jadi pi jalan-jalan di bandar Alor Setar yang tenang ini, dengan harapan terjumpa sesuatu. Memang terjumpa pun... tengok tu.... timbunan fabrics yang kDee beli, semua nya projek untuk baby......Lepas ni kDee tak bolih lah nak santai-santai sangat..... banyak yang menanti di sudut jahitan.

Semangat MERDEKA kDee pinjam untuk ber karya dengan mesin jahit!!

Hubby was left...... alone!

Oh, some vengeance!.....No, just have lots of errands to settle in town... and Hubby was left alone at home. Not to worry coz he would not realized I was missing until he gets hungry........ :) He is so engross with his woodworks and cleaning up his fishing gears and gadgets!

Ok, so I went to the post office for some delivery. Then, to the SSM (CCM/RoC) for renewal. Looking for bits and pieces for my sewing things and fabrics for the tablecloth. Did all the running here and there, in a time crunch and came home with these.

The fabrics for table cloth are all white cotton..... eliminated from the view :)

Three heavy cotton, few meters of printed cottons and a lovely Japanese silk, for my baju raya 'Aidul Adha.

There too, an additional of my craft/sewing books..... a Taiwan printed magz from PBS.

Short times out....

We, the WI group, had some great time visiting few places in Kuala Lumpur ...... and when all of my friends busy with their shopping spree along Jalan TAR..... I took the opportunity to make a disappearing act to grab these....... :D

And in Melaka, visiting historical venue and monuments and the best place is the MELAKA RIVER CRUISE ride at night......and many other lovely places.

I realized that it differs a lot when me moved with crowds of friends (my first time), than with own family .....it was just so very happenings..... if you get what I mean.... :D

lost and found

While searching for brown fabrics for CikKema's block, I immediately remember I have been to ANNA PATCHWORK HOUSE at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Petaling Jaya sometimes early of this year....... and bought few sewing accessories and fq. Finally found the little bundle inside the box hidden under the sewing table.


Are there anymore hidden treasures...... Diah???? :D

EXPECTED n UNEXPECTED

The gate bell rang twice yesterday and I received two parcels, one the expected and the other a non expected bundle of joys.................

The unexpected ones came from HaminahLee/Bannister from Miri, Sarawak in conjunction of her birthday...... Happy Belated Birthday, Mina. She posted all these specially for me .... so thoughtful of her.... Lovely batik Sarawak sarongs, crocheted potholders (by her), beaded coin purse and a packet of lovely buttons...... Thanks again Mina......You really made my day filled with joy..... :D



The other soughtful parcel was from Pondok Craft and came the green beauty which I have ordered from their recent Fat Quarter - 1930's Collection. I booked two packets of fqs but I think Ayu must have dropped one extra for me........ :D thanks Ayu.......

There are lots more in their lines of fabric collections and the offer valid till end of June ....do hurry!

RAINBOW FABRIC, FELTS and GIFTS

I have been eying for this fabric design from a very creative blogger friend Jajakraf. Finally the parcel came knocking at my door step today. I am so happy....


Apart from that gorgeous rainbow fabric Jaja could managed to get me some rainbow colours of felt. This is my double happiness......


And also, see the pinky little round thing there...... It is truly Jaja's. Thanks so much for the lovely pincushion for my additional collections. Love it. My third happiness....

So all in all I am the happiest old girl! Thanks again Jaja for making my day, today.

OUT OF THE BLUE

Received a call on Tuesday night from my kids in BK3 while hubby and I were having dinner ........ my heart throbbing fast, felt like bursting and my head was heavy and we had to make a fast move. My son called that KNia (eldest daughter) was having a 'blackout' in her office and was send to PPUM. The next hour I was on my way to KL, of course I did not drive, I took a bus with my niece Najua (so happened that she stayed with me for a week and hubby could not make it since he had a major meeting to attend the next morning). On my way, I was relieved to hear that she was discharged. The result of her CT scan showed no major injury on her forehead and her left eye though the patches of blue-black started to appear. That was it...... and what else we (Najua & me) could do in 5 hours journey.

After the good news that my kids were all back at BK3 I did finally realized that I was in a double-deck bus and sitting right at first-front-row and on the first floor level.... could you imagine that....my vision were so breathtaking that I could fly off the window glass screen..... just giggled on and off with Najua cos it was her first timer too.

In a way thanks to God that I could join my kids again a week later after our reunion at my sister's place in Ipoh.

Then we had a fun time and went shopping the whole 3 solid days with KNia having a one-eyed-Panda-with-sunglasses . Amongst other minor things like ribbons, buttons, wooden pegs, cards and etc, etc...... I found these for myself......

These books and magazines were collected from The Curve's MPH and Borders and Sungai Wang book stand.








These fabrics came from Jalan TAR's Nagoya and the bottom most from IKEA (sorry Tini, I had to buy cos I love yours)
