Bicycle Birthday Card

Hello stampers! I didn't do much this past long weekend. Stayed home most of the time. I did cross the border to pick up a package and went to the beach in Point Roberts. My little girl loves the beach so we took her there to pick up some shells. She was happy when she found one all on her own.

I made a masculine birthday card. I love the antique bicycle. I saw people riding this bicycle when my husband and I was at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, Connecticut. It was cool and I was in awe how they could ride such bicycle.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Apple Truck Birthday Card

Good day! Another truck card from the Countryside stamp set. I coloured the truck red using a blender pen. After the colour dried up it looks like pink instead. It looks nice anyway.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend! Happy Stamping!

Countryside Blue Truck Thank You Card

A masculine card using the Countryside stamp set. Such a cute truck with apples in the back. I love apples and used to decorate my house with apple decorations. I no longer have apple decors anymore but still love to eat apples though. I love granny smith apples. I love the crunchiness and the sourness of it. Yum!

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Hello stampers! I had some crafting time today so I made 2 masculine cards. I struggle with making masculine cards sometimes but these 2 are easy to make.

I used the Open Sea stamp set and Nautical Expedition DSP to make the cards. I love the stamp set and the pattern paper that goes with it. I'm running out of the paper soon and will have look for different pattern paper to go with the stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by today! Happy Stamping!

Globe Thank You Card

Hi, stampers! Not much stamping done lately. I was sick for almost 2 weeks. Another flu. Sigh! This is my fourth one this year. Couldn't get clean my house all those days.

Anyway, I'm happy I was able to get some card making this past weekend. I had the globe image sitting on my desk for awhile and finally made a card with it. Just a simple card but I love it because it is in blue colour.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Open Sea Thank You

Hello, stampers! Good day! I made some "thank you" cards for Martin to give to his friends. Black and white makes a nice masculine card. I love the Open Sea stamp set. One of my favourite stamp sets.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Puppy Birthday Card

Good day everyone. I'm still looking for the pictures I took of the creations I made for the wedding. I have no idea where they are. I can't retake them as I don't have the stuff anymore. A case of missing pictures. I think I might need to hire a detective to help me find them.

For now, here is a card I made for my brother. He loves dogs so I made him one with a dog image. His birthday is the day after my dad. I get confuse sometimes who's birthday comes first. Getting doesn't help either.

Thank you for visiting today. Have a great day!

Sailboat Happy Birthday

Good day everyone! Another card for my sister. This is a masculine birthday card. What do you think of this one? I'm not very good at making a masculine card. I always have to think a long time to make one of these cards.

I use the Winds of Grace stamp set for this card. The stamp set is retired. I'm glad I got because I really like it and I don't have a lot of masculine stamp sets. I tend to order the flowery ones first before any other sets. The card is really simple so not much to say about it. Pretty much self explanatory.

I still have girly cards to make and this is another kind of card I rarely make too. I have think, think, think. I'm thinking about making cards with cupcakes on it or something like that. Well, I'm off to make them. Will show you all what I come up with.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Have a great day!

Altered Art Journal

Hey everyone! Here is an Art Journal that I finally altered. Stampin'Up! doesn't sell this size Art journal anymore. I'm so sad about it. Anyway. I covered the journal with the Nautical Expedition Designer Paper that is no longer available too. I forgot to order more before it was gone. I also stamped few images from the The Open Sea stamp set and adhere them onto the journal.

I covered the back of the journal too but didn't decorated a whole lot on it.

I also stamped inside every single pages (yes, every single one) of the journal with different colours and images from the The Open Sea stamp set. A lot of work but it wasn't that hard to do. It made the journal very pretty inside.

Here is a picture of the whole sailboat/sea theme creations I made awhile ago with the journal. I'm giving this to someone that I don't know at all. I want this to be an encouragement to this person who just went through a tough time and had a good spirit about it. I know this person is an encouragement to me for sure.

If you would like to see close up of the other creations in the picture just click the links below to see them.

They are all born in June so we celebrate their birthdays on the same day. Yesterday and today my church have a King James Version Bible Conference. It is the KJV Bible's 400th years. Open Sea Cards Part 3

Happy Thursday everyone! What a beautiful sunny day today is! The sun makes me happy.
Here is the last card of The Open Sea card set.

Here is the group picture of the set. I can't seem to pick which one I like best. Now I need to think of how to package this set. I love all of them. This set makes a great Father's Day gift. Have any of you make a Father's Day gift yet? I'm not sure what to give to my husband this year for Father's Day. I'll ask my kids.

Thank you for visiting me today! Have good day!

Open Sea Cards Part 2

Here are two more cards using the The Open Sea stamp set. I have one more to show you with a group picture of the cards which will be in the next post.

I use the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper from the Summer mini for the background. This paper is so pretty. I had a hard time using cause I love it so much and didn't want to cut into it.

Well, it is a beautiful sunny day today so I'll be outside most of the time. Spending time with my little one.

Thank you for visiting me today! Enjoy your day!

Birthday Open Sea Card Part 1

ETA: sorry if you receive this again in your email. Blogger was having problem for 2 days and they erase this post. I have to re-post it.

Hello, everyone! Here is a card I made using The Open Sea stamp set from the Summer mini catalogue. This is an awesome set! When I saw this set it reminds me of a song about a ship called Bluenose. This ship is on our Canadian dime. I went onto youtube and found the song I sang when I was in elementary school. I'm so happy that it was on youtube.

I made a set of cards with the The Open Sea stamp set. This will make a great gift for Father's Day. I'll show this one for now. The weather was gloomy so therefor the pictures didn't turn out too good. I use natural light that comes through my window to take all my pictures.

Thank you for stopping by!

Birthday Sail Away

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I ended up going out on Saturday so I didn't create any cards. But here is one I made on Friday while I watched the Royal Wedding of Kate and Will. No! I did not stayed up for the wedding. Thank goodness there was PVR. Love everything about that wedding although it was a long one. Her dress was so pretty and she was pretty in it.

I made this card with the new stamp Sail Away from the Summer Mini. The background paper is the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper. Love this paper! I love the samples that are in the catalogue featuring the paper.

Thank you for visiting me today! Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Tree Card

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was quite exciting and tiring at the same time. I did a short trip to Kelowna. Very short because we were their for only 2 hours. Well, Kelowna is about 4-5 hours away. We were there and back the same day. It was sunny here in Vancouver and Kelowna but along the way there were snow and blizzard. There was a truck that went into a ditch and was flipped to it's side. Why did we went to Kelowna you ask? My DH's company needed someone to bring a almost brand new bus to Kelwona and drive a bus with problems back. Crazy wasn't it? But we made it home safely and made it back for my MIL birthday dinner . It was busy but we also got to visit my kids' home school teacher in Kelowna. We had a wonderful time visiting her.

Anyway, enough about my weekend. Here is another masculine card for ya. Very simple and nice at the same time.

I also want to thank Michelle D over at Upsy Daisy for the Versatile Blogger Award.

Well, gotta run and create more cards. Have a wonderful day!

Light House Birthday Card

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Here is a masculine card I made using the Winds Of Grace stamp set which is retired. I love light houses and try to get every light house set that Stampin'Up! sells. There was one set I really like and never got it. I felt really bad I couldn't get that set and now I can't remember what it is called anymore.

Many of you, like me, struggle making masculine cards. I know how it feels. I'm not very good with it either. Men don't like frilly stuff on their cards so that makes it very hard to do. What can you put on a masculine card? Not much for sure. I did put some linen thread on this card. It does make the card looks a lot better then without it. Hope you got inspiration from this simple masculine card.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

Supplies:
stamp- Winds Of Grace, French Foliage
papers- basic black, very vanilla, first edition DSP
ink- basic black, whisper white craft
accessories- linen thread, word window punch, modern label punch

Mojo Monday 139

Happy Monday, everyone! Here is card I made for the Mojo Monday 139 Sketch Challenge. Not an easy sketch to do. Looks easy but it was hard for to place everything to fit right. I manage to make 2 of this card though. Now I'll have them on hand when I need a masculine birthday card. Making masculine card is always a challenge for me especially most of my stamps are flowers.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Male Birthday Card

I needed to make male birthday cards to give to the men at church. So far I made 45. Wow! That's a lot of work with all the layering. Not very easy to make cards for men especially most of my stamps are flowers.

I really like how this one turned out.

Hope you had a great day! It snowed here today and that's weird for Vancouver. My kids love it though. They had a great time playing in the snow.

Happy Stamping!
