Easter Treat Baskets

Hello stampers! I made little Easter treats for the school kids.

I made them in pink ribbon and  yellow ribbon so the boys will not give me a funny look if I made them all in pink.

I filled the treats in a cello bags. That's the last of my tiny cello bags from Stampin'Up!.

The eggs was from a stamp set called Easter Blossom. Cute little eggs.

I used the Two Tags Bigz Die for the basket. I made a box to go in between two of the narrow tags to hold the treats. For the box I cut a piece of 4-3/4" x 4-3/4" card stock and score at 1-1/2" on all four sides. Easy! You can make them too.

Wedding Favours

Few! All done! Over 200 of these milk cartons for a wedding this weekend. Normally it doesn't take me long to make these but it did. Couldn't do much at a time because my right fingers was in pain. The pain was not from making these. The pain might be from the whiplash back in November. The whiplash does funny things to my body. The doctor can not figure out what is causing the pain so he sends me to see a specialist. I'm seeing one this Thursday. Can't wait to find out what is causing the pain.

The colours for the wedding are yellow and blue. Nice combinations. I love it!

Basket Full of Chickies and Bunnies

Hello stampers! I've been sick for awhile. Lots of coughing and weak at times. Finally got my energy back to crafting again. Anyway, I'm thankful for the good weather here in Vancouver. It has been beautiful sunshine and warm days for the past 2 weeks. Nothing like the sunshine to brighten up the soul.

I made a basket to hold the chick and the bunny boxes I made to give to the school kids this week. The basket is not strong enough to hold all the boxes. After filling them with treats they're heavy. The card stock is not thick enough to do the job. I have to hold the bottom of the basket so the handle wont break. The basket looks pretty though. Will need to use a thicker card stock. I know the kraft papers I have is thick enough but not the colour I'm looking for.

I added 2 flowers to the sides of the basket. I used the Fancy Flower Punch to make the flowers.

I filled each favours with candies. Candies are kids favourite of course. Even if they don't like my little creations I'm sure they'll like the candies. :)

Chicky And Bunny

Hello stampers! It is so good that we have sunshine today. I so need it. The cherry blossoms are blooming making it a lovely sight all around our neighbourhood. I just feel more energize when the weather is nice.

I made 2 animal triangle boxes. I found a video by Julie Davison on YouTube that shows you how to make these 2 cute animals.

I didn't do a good job on drawing the bunny face but it is still cute. The feet was made from an Oval Punch. I had to round one side of the oval to get the heel.

The chick's wings was made using a 1-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and then cut it in half. The beak was made from a square folded in half.

The chick and the bunny are just too cute! Happy April Fools Day!

Easter Chick Lindt Chocolate Box

A cute little treat box for Easter. I filled the box with some Lindt chocolates. One of my favourite chocolates.

I used the A Good Egg stamp set for the main image. Such a cute little chick!

At first the chocolate eggs was rolling around inside the box so I decided make a piece of card stock with 3 holes for the eggs stay in place. I didn't have a bigger hole punch for the eggs to sit on so therefore they were put upside down inside the box. Oh well, the chocolates still tastes the same anyway.

Valentines Boxes For The Teachers

I made some boxes for the school teachers. There  are only 3 teachers so it wasn't a lot to make for.

I used the Petal Cone Die to make the box. Do you that you can still get this die? Go to Stampin'Up! website and it is under clearance rack section. Look for this die. It is on sale while supply last. I do recommend to get this die. There is so much you can do with it. It is worth your money.

I punched two holes at the top of the boxes and tied them with a tinsel tassel. I think that what's called. It is something I have for a long time so I don't remember the name of it.

I filled each boxes with yummy jujubes.

Turkey Favour Boxes

Hello, blog stamper friends! Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian readers! I'm thankful for each and everyone of you (far and near and all parts of the World) for coming by and visit my blog.

I invited some friends over for Thanksgiving dinner and made everyone a turkey favour box to take home. I filled it with some sweet treats. Aren't these turkey cute? I love them! My girls wants one too.

The turkeys was made with a Petal Cone Die. Did I ever tell you that I love this die? There are so many possibilities with this die. The tail was made with Scallop Circle Die.  The beak, eyes and the wattle are made from punches.

I made 2 different tails but I like the one on the right more so that's what I made instead for everyone.

Thank you for visiting today! Happy creating!

Candy Corn Box

My daughter Faith loves candy corn so I made her a box to hold her candy corn. I made one for Hope and Jarod too.

I'm not a fan of candy corn but I love the candy corn box. No calories! That's the best part! I used the Petal Cone Die to make the box.  It took a few tries to get the right measurements but I finally got it. If you have been following my blog for awhile you know I love the Petal Cone Die that Stampin'Up! use to sell and I use it a lot.

Sorry, no tutorial for this box. I don't get around to do tutorials anymore.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Baby Shower For Myles

Hello, there. Happy Friday. Today's projects are decorations for a baby shower tonight. I decorated the place last night. I'm not able to make it to the shower so the pictures only show the things I made. No food or gifts on the table. It would be nice to have those things on the table so it doesn't look so bare.

It is a shower for my Pastor's grandson. He is 3 weeks old today. I did a little banner for the front of the food table and the drink table (no pic of the drink table). I used the Special Delivery Boy DSP (retired) for all the decorations.

I made a 3 tier cake and decorated with sailboats, ribbons and anchors. Topped the cake off with a folded sailboat filled with candies.

Close up of the decorations around the cake.

Anchors on the cake. I forgot to add strings to them.

Close up of the banner. Myles is the baby's name.

Close up of the sailboat. You can't see it but I used skewers to hold up the sails.

Sailboats on the tables where ladies will be sitting.

Banner for the gifts table.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Floral Petal Cone Box

Happy sunny Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Here is a box made with the Petal Cone Die in Vellum paper. I flipped it upside down and decorated it. I stamped the leaves from the Growing Green stamp set in Garden Green ink on each panels of the box. The big flower was stamped 3 times on Vellum paper, cut them out, curled the petals and then assembled them with mini glue dots. I added a pearl in the middle of the flower which added some elegant to it. The flower at the top of the box was done the same way except I didn't curl the petals.

What do you think of this box? I tried to put one flower hair clip in there and it holds fine without taping the flaps up. The hair clip was light enough to be able to hold the ribbon at the top without the flaps opening up at the bottom. I also tried something a little heavier ( ie. mini chocolates) to go in the box. I cut a piece of card stock to go inside at the bottom, close the 4 flaps and put mini glue dots on 2 flaps to hold it close. I was able to hold the box at the ribbon at the top. Such lovely little box!

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a good day!

How The White Wedding Favour Box Works

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I like Mondays. It is a day that I get to relax from the busy weekends. At least once a month on Saturday there is a birthday party and church on Sundays. My weekends are always booked up.

Someone asked me how the Petal Cone die weeding favour works. So here are some picture of how the box open and close.

Here is how it looks when it is open. The flower is slide to the end of the knotted ribbon. If you don't want the knotted ribbon to show when the box is closed then put it close the opening of the box.

I put one eyelet each onto the two opening flaps (the two with the scallop around them). Ignore the hole on one of the flap. I wasn't too careful when I was Crop-a-dile the hole for the eyelet. I thread the ribbon through the two eyelets but did not tie a knot on the ribbon yet. Set this aside.

Make your flower. I used a cardboard from the DSP packaging for my flower backing. I want it to be strong enough to move along the ribbon for opening and closing the box. I used a Crop-a-dile to punched a hole in the middle of the flower. (While I was writing this I thought it would work best if I had punch two hole in the middle of the flower. This way the flower will slide along the ribbon smoother.) Thread the ribbon through hole of the flower. Next, thread the ribbon through a button. Then glue the button onto the flower.

A closer look a the top of the flower.

Hope you understand my tutorial of this box. If you have any questions just leave a comment here or email me. I'll try my best to answer you.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!
