Graduation Caps For The Graduates

This year there was a lot of high school graduates from my church. There were 12 of them. I made the cards using the Great Grads stamp set (retired). I made the cards first so they were in black and white.

I made the caps after the cards and didn't have enough black card stock so I made 3 caps in black for the boys and the 9 red caps for the girls. The reds caps didn't match the cards but it still look nice.

ETA: You can get the grad hat tutorial here.

Aren't these grad caps the cutest ever?

The grad caps are little treat boxes and were filled with yummy treats. The boxes were made using the Petal Cone Die which I love so much and use it a lot but now it is retired from Stampin'Up!

Those are buttons at the top of the cap to hold the tassels down.

The card and cap was put together in a cello bag and tied it with ribbons to pretty up the packaging.

Thank you for visiting today! Happy Stamping!

Graduation Cards

My nephew Alex had his grad ceremony yesterday. He graduated from grade 12 and this was the card I made for him. It took me about 10 minutes to make this card. Wow! I've never made a card this fast before.

Here Alex and me.

Hope (6 yrs old) had to get in on it too so this was what she came up with. Isn't it a beautiful card? She amazes me all the time. Faith helped her with the letters.

I love the cap and the diploma she made. So cute! I love the tassel too! I don't know how she came up with it nor do I know how she knows about the cap and diploma are for graduation. She is full surprises.

This is the best part of the card. Under their names there is a fine print that made me laugh so hard. So hilarious! Must be Faith who wrote that. She is so funny! Love my girls!

Last month my family and I went to a friend's graduation ceremony. It was a long one. There were only 48 students but it took 2 1/2 hours. All through the night we couldn't here any of the speeches the students mad but the music was so loud booming behind us. Somehow the mic in the front did not connect to the back speakers. That was where we sat. Anyway, I'm glad our friend is graduated. I'm happy for her.

I made this card for her. The stamp set Great Grads is retired.

For the Graduates

I made three of these sets for three ladies who are graduating from Bible College. Each box is filled with 8 cards 4 of each design. I tried to CASE (copy and share everything) Andrea Walford' s cards but I don't have some of the ribbons she used. The concept is still there.

I did a different version of the box then that of Andrea's. You can see the tote I made here. I just added a lid and omit the handles.

Here is the picture of the whole set.

Close up of the box.

Hope the girls like it. Thanks for stopping by.

I think this one is missing something. I was thinking about putting a star on the bottom right. What do you think? Any suggestion would be great.

Here is the inside.

Graduation Cards

A lady at church asked me to make some graduation cards so these are the ones I came up with.
I don't have much graduation stamps. I guess these will do for now until I get new ones.

Going to go and make some more samples for her to choose from. Hope she like them.
