Sentimental Sundays - Be inspired
The image was chosen for the Sentimental Sundays challenge which was to take inspiration from a photograph of a lighthouse.
The base card is A5 and pale blue to match the 2 stripe and spot papers. The were trimmed to a suitable size and adhered to the base card after punching the corners for some extra detail.
The main image, from Elusive Images, was stamped onto watercolour paper with brown Stazon. It was watercoloured with Distress inks and then it, and its yellow mat were cut out with Nesties.
The three seashells were stamped in the same way, watercoloured and coated with Glossy Accents to give them some shine. The sentiment was stamped onto the same yellow card and trimmed to size. All the stamps are by EI.
To hide the join between the two papers, a strip was cut from the same yellow card using a Martha Stewart punch. This was glued in place and then the matted image attached. The shells were attached with Pinflair glue.
