Decorative Journal and Card {VIDEO}
10:53 AM
Hello DeNami friends,
Journaling is a very popular hobby and I wanted to show you how you can create a beautiful journal that is inexpensive to make and also makes a great gift. You will also learn how to make a matching card.
I bought the plain journal at Walmart for about $3. I made sure it was a spiral bound to add the decorative binding. You can use a regular book bound version, and just skip this step.
In the video below I show step by step how to create the journal and card.
This journal makes a beautiful gift but also makes a lovely journal for yourself. You can do these same decorative touches on photo albums, scrapbooks, address books, planners and notebooks.
You can use the same stamps for the matching card. It makes your gift even easier to make when you don’t have to come up with a new card design. Plus, it looks very coordinated having the matching duo.
You can even make these to sell at craft fairs, give as teacher gifts, give to your club members, as a shower gift, etc.
Here’s the video to see how it was all made. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to stay up to date as to any new videos.
Enjoy making these lovely gifts.

Hope you enjoyed the first day of it. If you missed it, you can find it HERE.
Today we introduce our happy food with Foodie Fun foods! Food should be fun and these little morsels will put a smile to your face:)
On today's post, I featured our sushi and Asian food stamps. These are fun for any occasion. Use your imagination and make them into whatever you can imagine! These food stamps would also be perfect to pair with a restaurant gift card or dinner invitation.
Here is the grouping of stamped creations I did using this collection.

I used the strong red, black and white color theme to bring out the Asian food theme. Here are just the cards.

Candy boxes close-up
Here are the candies from the favor box shown available from DeNami. The box measures 2.25x2.25 and 1 inch deep. They can also fit 8 Hershey's nuggets. I used the Hershey's miniatures for this one. I was able to fit 6 of them in it. I made my own labels using the Avery address label (5160). I show you how below.
I took the Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and stamped the food stamps on each label I needed.
I then used water based markers to color in the labels. Aren't they cute?!
I then put 6 in the box.
Here is a side view so you can see how they are packaged.
I then added ribbon to top it off.
Here is a close up of the gift bag. I printed it on black cardstock from DeNami using a laser printer. The shiny toner made it easier to know where to cut. You cut on the solid lines and score on the dotted lines. I then used a one inch punch to cut out the hole handle. You can leave solid if you prefer or use a different size. This is very versatile. If you print at 105% you can fit the clear box I showed inside this bag. This gift bag is available HERE.
You can order it or buy it in a downloadable format. (Note: The download is for personal use only and not to be shared.)
Be sure to leave a comment! This will enter you in one of the many contests we will have for Sneak Peek Week! Come back tomorrow for another day of fun!

Peace Hope Joy Card and Gift Set
3:00 AM
Hi Friends,
Now that Thanksgiving is over, there is the mad dash to start projects your have been planning to do for Christmas. Now is a great time to make some lovely gifts that you can give to co-workers, teachers, neighbors, friends and family.
Look how elegant this project is. You can easily make even more dimensional with 3D Lacquer and Sparkletts glitter. You can also add Rhinestones to bling it up.
Lisa P shared how she made these lovely projects. Enjoy!

This festive gift set features the brand new I70 Peace Hope Joy sentiment from DeNami Design. I love this stamp because it can be used on cute and whimsical projects as well as elegant creations. And just look at how gorgeous it is embossed in gold!!! Stunning, really!
I started by making a tag for a gift bag. I used a circle die and traced a
pencil outline lightly onto a piece of white cardstock, making sure the circle
was big enough for my sentiment to fit inside of it. I stamped the pinecones and
pine branches from CL-CH003 Winter Pine to form a wreath. I allowed the ink to
dry completely and then stamped and embossed the I70 Peace Hope Joy sentiment in
the center of the wreath. I added some embossed berries from the CL-CH004 Elegant Holly Stamp Set to fill in any open spaces. I trimmed the panel down to
form a square tag and rounded the corners. I cut a slightly larger square panel
from kraft cardstock, rounded the corners and adhered it to the white stamped
panel. I cut two tiny holes in the top of the tag, threaded some hemp cord
through the holes and tied the tag onto a cellophane gift bag.
After finishing the bag, I thought it would be fun to make a coordinating
gift box. I used the GF05 Square Gift Box Template from DeNami Design. I love
these templates! They are so simple to use! I cut out the box following all of
the solid lines on the template. I flipped the template over so that the
remaining dotted lines were on the back side and repeatedly stamped the
pinecones and pine branches from CL-CH003 Winter Pine Stamp Set to cover the
box. I flipped the template over again, so I could see the dotted lines and used
a ruler and bone folder to score along each of the dotted lines. I folded along
the scored lines and assembled the box. To finish, I tied on some hemp
cord.
For my gifts, I placed holiday scented lotion in the gift bag and lip balm
in the gift box, but these packages are the perfect size to hold any number of
fun gifts for co-workers, teachers, friends or family members.
I hope you like my project for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Adorable Glass Necklaces and Magnets
3:00 AM
Hi Friends!
The holidays is the season to give. Why shortchange yourself the blessing of giving just because you are money poor? Today I will show you how to make darling gifts that cost you hardly anything to make, but is boutique quality and looks like you spent a mint.
Aren't these necklaces adorable! They look like the kind you can buy from a gift shop or boutique.
The first are necklaces that I made using flat glass bubbles that I found at the craft store. They are a little over an 1 inch across.
The stamps used are all DeNami Design stamps. There are so many to choose from for all occasions. You can even use a portion of a stamp because you will just punch it out.
2) Then I took a 1 inch circle punch MV-01 to cut out the images to fit behind the glass bubbles.
3) I added a small amount of 3D Crystal lacquer CL01 to the back of the glass bubble and then slowly pressed on the stamped image, making sure it was tightly pressed onto the back of the bubble with no air bubbles. Make sure you don't put too much as it will ooze behind the punch out and will need to be wiped off.
4) Allow to dry completely.
5) Glue on necklace bails using a E-6000 adhesive or similar that can attach metal to the glass.
6) Thread the chain in the bail after it is dry and package your necklace.

Here are the necklaces with the cardstock backing attached.
Here are the necklaces in the 3x3 clear boxes
You can make magnets instead. Just attach a magnet instead of the bail and chain.
Here are the magnets close up

Supplies Needed to Make Glass Pendant Necklaces
-Markers (Tombow) if using Versafine or Copic if using Memento
-Necklace Bails
-Ball necklaces or chains
Optional: Strong Circle magnets if you prefer to make magnets
How to Make the Glass Pendant Necklaces
1) First I stamped my stamp images in Versafine TK-VF082 and colored with markers. You can use Memento TK-ME900 if you are using Copic markers. The stamps used are all DeNami Design stamps. There are so many to choose from for all occasions. You can even use a portion of a stamp because you will just punch it out.
2) Then I took a 1 inch circle punch MV-01 to cut out the images to fit behind the glass bubbles.

4) Allow to dry completely.
5) Glue on necklace bails using a E-6000 adhesive or similar that can attach metal to the glass.
6) Thread the chain in the bail after it is dry and package your necklace.
How to Package the Glass Necklaces
1) Cut out White Cardstock PC21 into a hair less than 3x3 inch squares
2) Stamp I62 For You Circle in Black ink in the middle of the cardstock.
3) Add a strip of ATG100 adhesive in the middle of the I62 For you Circle and attach pendant.
4) Put the chain in a little baggie and attach the bag to the back of the cardstock with ATG100.
I had to fold over the little bag to make it smaller to fit.
5) Add a strip of ATG100 to the back of the cardstock, both top and bottom and slide
it into the 3x3 clear box. The adhesive will prevent the necklace and card from moving around too much.
I will do another post on how I wrapped these necklaces for a gift. Stay tuned!
Enjoy giving these away!
